Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 A magical encounter, familiarity

As soon as Ye Fan landed on shore, besides the salty smell of the sea, he was hit by a very strong orange scent.

Not far away, Ye Fan saw many orange trees.

No wonder this small town was called Orange Town; it really did have a lot of orange trees planted.

This caused the air here to be filled with the fresh scent of oranges.

This was Buggy's territory, and Ye Fan even suspected that Buggy had eaten two Devil Fruits.

The Chop-Chop Fruit and a Luck-Luck Fruit.

Relying on a Luck-Luck Fruit, Ye Fan even suspected that Buggy would unexpectedly become the Pirate King in the end.

One must know that Buggy's strength was very weak, and the Chop-Chop Fruit was truly garbage in his hands.

Not to mention he couldn't use any of the three types of Haki, but his luck was so good that before Ye Fan's transmigration, he had become one of the Four Emperors.

The chairman (on the surface) of the Cross Guild.

He also had two top-tier fighters under him: Hawkeye (Dracule Mihawk) and Sir Crocodile, as well as subordinates he recruited from Impel Down's first to fourth levels.

One must know that even those imprisoned on the first level of Impel Down were not ordinary pirates.

Every one of them was a dangerous, heavily-sentenced criminal, and their pirate strength was unimaginable.

Yet, these people willingly followed Buggy, and even Whitebeard had to show him some respect.

It could be said that he truly had the boost of a Luck-Luck Fruit.

Ye Fan really wanted to know if Buggy would ultimately become the Pirate King.

Any fated ending, any Human-Human Fruit, Mythical Zoan, Nika form, would be vulnerable before the great Buggy.

He had plenty of time, so Ye Fan was in no hurry; he would first eat something and take a shower in this town.

His body was sticky from the morning's workout, and he hadn't eaten breakfast, so he was truly hungry.

However, Ye Fan seemed to have forgotten that because of the Buggy Pirates, the residents of this island lived very difficult lives.

Who would dare open a restaurant? There wasn't even much food to go around.

After searching for several circles, Ye Fan couldn't find a single open tavern.

One must know that in this world, having cola was already quite amazing; compared to other transmigrators, being able to drink a happy drink was truly fortunate.

Ye Fan guessed that since Oda wrote the story in the 1990s, and cola had existed since 1886, it wasn't strange.

Not only cola, but also Sprite, Fanta, and other beverages that existed before 1999 were all available.

"What the hell is going on? None of the taverns are open for business."

Ye Fan just wanted to take a good shower and eat a meal, but even such a simple thing was impossible.

Just as Ye Fan was complaining, three dark-skinned, scarred men with large swords and fierce expressions appeared behind him.

Seeing Ye Fan as a new face, they thought it was a good opportunity to make a score.

Their boss, Buggy, only ever gave them a tiny fraction of the treasure he acquired, which was never enough.

So, they would usually use the name of the Buggy Pirates to earn some extra money.

"Kid, hand over all your money."

"Although you don't look rich, even a small mosquito has some meat."

Ye Fan had sensed their appearance the moment they showed up, and their arrogant voices were very irritating.

Ye Fan couldn't use Observation Haki, but because he could use Ice Magic, he was extremely sensitive to temperature, and the heat emitted by the human body was different from its surroundings.

So, this could be considered a low-level version of Observation Haki.

Turning to look at the three men, Ye Fan found them somewhat familiar. Had he seen them somewhere before?

He just couldn't recall it at the moment.

The three men were extremely dissatisfied with Ye Fan's reaction. Shouldn't he be kneeling and begging for mercy?

"Hey, kid! We're pirates, the Buggy Pirates! Scared now, aren't you!"

The middle-aged man proudly introduced them, knowing that this entire Orange Town and several surrounding villages were the territory of the Buggy Pirates.

The two men beside him also proudly said, "Look at this kid, he's scared stiff, not moving at all."

"Hahaha, he really is a rookie. Knowing we're pirates, he's probably peed his pants."

The three men mercilessly mocked Ye Fan, stepping on landmines at the edge of courting death.

They knew that their captain was a Devil Fruit user, which was synonymous with strength in the East Blue.

As long as one had a Devil Fruit in the East Blue, they could pretty much walk sideways.

After all, the East Blue was the weakest of the seas.

Ye Fan, for some reason, found these men familiar. Weren't these the three pirates who had chased Nami back then?

Perfect, they had delivered themselves to his doorstep. He could have them take him to Buggy's base camp.

"Brother, look at this kid, is he stupid? He's being robbed by pirates, and he's still smiling."

"He really deserves a beating. Let me give him a good thrashing."

Coincidentally, Ye Fan wanted to test his current strength without using his ice abilities.

"Whoosh!"

With speed far exceeding that of ordinary people, Ye Fan appeared before the three men in a single stride, kicking them all away.

Before the three men could react, they felt an irresistible force send them flying.

Ye Fan was very satisfied with the effect of his 30% strength.

Two of the three men lay on the ground, wailing in pain. The one on the far left, who had taken the most force, was already unconscious and probably dead.

The remaining two were also spitting blood, clearly suffering from internal injuries.

Their ribs were broken, more than one, and their eyes were filled with terror.

What kind of monster was this? They hadn't even reacted before they were sent flying. Could this person also be a Devil Fruit user?

"Mercy, sir, mercy!"

"We're just grunts, mercy!"

...

Seeing the two men acting as if they knew they had done wrong, Ye Fan sneered.

Their hands were definitely stained with human lives, and every person who died by their hands was innocent.

They only dared to bully ordinary civilians, but when they encountered someone like Ye Fan, they would kneel and beg for mercy.

These were pirates, pirates who committed all sorts of evil. Not every pirate was like Luffy's crew members.

Burning, killing, plundering, rape, and abduction—this was the true nature of pirates, and the appearance of the vast majority of them.

Even if they weren't pirates, there were still people doing business like human organ trafficking.

"Get up. Take me to your base camp."

Once they reached Buggy's place, he would deal with them all at once.

He could spare Buggy for now; he was more useful alive than dead.

Later, Buggy founded 'Buggy's Delivery' and made a lot of money. Of course, a pig should be fattened before slaughter.

The two men exchanged glances, unsure why he wanted to go to their base camp, but this was a good thing.

Once they reached the base camp, he would be alone, but they had an entire pirate crew.

At that time, they would definitely teach him a good lesson and let him know the might of the Buggy Pirates.

"Yes, yes, this way."

"This way."

Ye Fan didn't say much about their clumsy acting; he knew exactly what they were thinking, and he never intended to let them go.

They would just live a few more minutes!
