Zeus's voice became increasingly intimate and increasingly elevated: "My most trustworthy companion, I will forever confidently entrust my back to you, because I deeply know your loyalty is impeccable."
"You serve me, support me so firmly and uprightly, unyielding and unshakeable."
"Styx, I will trust you as firmly as you are loyal to me, and this trust will never change!"
"I hereby appoint you as the sacred witness who supervises the gods in the sacred order I have newly established!"
"You will be the first river of the underworld, and also the most important river. You will surround the entire underworld, becoming the mighty supporter of the underworld!"
"You will organize the ocean current entering the underworld, and you will assist Hades in expanding the underworld."
"All living beings in the universe, whether gods or mortals, whoever enters the underworld must pass through your river to enter."
"You are both a god of the underworld and a god of the heavens. Mount Olympus will forever keep its doors open for you, and a temple will forever be reserved for you on the sacred mountain!"
Zeus's sincere voice suddenly became incredibly solemn and grand. An extremely loud thunder shook the universe, and he declared with high majesty:
"All gods and all living beings in the universe, including me Zeus, whoever points toward the River Styx and swears by its name, represents the most sacred oath witnessed by me!"
"You are the eternal witness and final arbiter of sacred vows! Oaths made in your name have absolute binding force, and vows must never be violated!"
"Mortal beings who violate them will surely be severely punished! Even if immortal gods violate them, they must pay a heavy price!"
Zeus's majestic gaze swept across all the gods present. After looking around, he said clearly and coldly: "We are the controllers of the universe, the embodiment of universal laws, the sacred gods!"
"Trust is the foundation of all interaction. The gods should be the example for all living beings in all realms of the universe!"
"Gods cannot be without faith! Gods cannot speak falsely! Gods cannot break oaths!"
"Any god who swears by Styx's name, including me Zeus, as long as they break their oath, will immediately fall into the underworld, sink into the waters of the River Styx, be soaked unconscious for ten years, with consciousness sinking, never seeing daylight!"
"For one hundred years, they are not allowed to participate in any banquets held by any deities, isolated by the gods! For one hundred years, they are not permitted to set foot on Mount Olympus, banished from the sacred mountain! For one hundred years, they are furthermore not permitted to drink honeyed wine and divine food, losing sacred nourishment!"
The gods still didn't know exactly how long this "one hundred years" would be, but from Zeus's stern and decisive tone, they knew this punishment would not be short, certainly long and unbearable.
In fact, this kind of punishment Zeus set was already terrible enough for the gods.
The gods weren't afraid of injury and bloodshed; what they feared most was endless loneliness and isolation.
Now, not keeping oaths would result in isolation, being deprived of divine daily pleasures and socializing, no longer able to enjoy the lively and beautiful universe—this was too unbearable!
Zeus added another sentence, raising the punishment's deterrent power another level: "For repeated oath-breakers, the punishment time will be doubled."
Styx was now wild with joy in her heart. The enormous glory and authority made her extremely excited.
The Ocean God couple was also overjoyed. They knew Zeus wouldn't mistreat the Ocean lineage, and indeed it was so!
Zeus, such a dignified god! So dignified!
All the Ocean gods were now very certain of one thing: loyally serving Zeus was their eternally correct decision!
But this wasn't finished yet.
Before Styx could thank him, Zeus continued: "And your children, these lovely and powerful children—they are just like my children. Let them stay by my side."
Zeus continued to declare: "From today forth, the left, right, front, and back of my divine throne symbolize the four directions of east, west, south, and north, representing the radiation of my power and glory."
He looked toward Styx's children behind her and said majestically:
"Nike, from this day forward, you stand at my right hand, representing my eternal success and victory, invincible in battle!"
"Bia, you stand at my left hand, representing my forever infinite absolute power, unmatched!"
"Cratos, you stand before me, representing my supreme power and might, intimidating the universe!"
"Zelus, you stand behind me, representing my unmatched courage and glory, invincible!"
Zeus's elevated voice echoed in the divine hall: "From this day forward, you will be with me, forever standing by my side, becoming my intimate assistants and symbols!"
Styx's heart was increasingly wild with joy, almost fainting.
The authority given was too great!
It truly wasn't in vain to rush to serve first!
Indeed, being the first to serve meant the most benefits!
The children's futures were all arranged!
Divine king's personal attendants!
And attendants representing all the divine king's power and glory—what supreme honor this was!
From now on, the children's names would accompany the divine king's name, sung and praised by all living beings in the universe.
Styx, with her four children, walked excitedly to the center of the divine hall. She was so excited she even knelt on both knees, her voice filled with infinite gratitude and submission to the divine king:
"Great divine king! Generous divine king! Merciful divine king! Styx thanks you for your gifts, forever remembering your benevolence. I will forever be loyal to you! Your will is forever my will!"
Her four children were also extremely excited. They followed closely after their mother, respectfully kneeling on both knees, once again completely and firmly swearing loyalty to the divine king.
Zeus's majestic face showed a satisfied smile. His tone was gentle and intimate: "My dearest comrade, please sit down quickly. We are forever the firmest of friends."
After Styx respectfully thanked him again, she returned to her divine seat.
And her four children—Nike, Bia, Cratos, and Zelus—had already consciously taken their positions behind Zeus's divine throne.
Becoming the new divine king's most loyal and powerful attendants and symbols.
Victory and glory would forever only stand beside Zeus.
Because Zeus stands firm, they could represent all victory and glory.
Zeus possesses eternal victory and glory!
Next came the sons of Crius—the three brothers Astraeus, Pallas, and Perses, these three majestic stellar giant gods.
Zeus's majestic face radiated with hearty laughter. He looked toward these three loyal allies, genuinely happy from his heart.
The many primordial great gods weren't convenient to command at will. For future matters, these second-generation gods would still be needed.
These three brothers were sufficiently loyal, powerfully capable, and reliably moral. Having such subordinates was truly worth celebrating.
His voice was full of intimacy and approval: "Sons of Crius, my dear comrades, your loyalty and strong support to me—do they need more words?"
"In this world, who doesn't know that you always charge forward courageously, fighting and killing for me?"
Zeus spoke with hearty laughter. The three brothers also laughed aloud together, and the other gods in the hall now all showed sincere smiles. The atmosphere became relaxed and harmonious.
Especially Crius, who laughed quite brilliantly, completely unlike his usual taciturn, majestically solemn appearance.
After a good while, Zeus restrained his laughter and continued: "The former divine king feared the gods' power and limited divine honor. I will never be so!"
"All gods who are loyal to me and help me, I will forever share glory with them!"
Zeus gave a sacred proclamation in a high voice: "Pallas, from today forth, the vast starry sky south of my divine throne, including all stars and constellations within, shall be under your jurisdiction. You will be the supreme sovereign of the Southern Sky Region!"
"Perses, the boundless starry sky north of my divine throne, including all stars and celestial bodies within, shall be entrusted to your governance. You will be the eternal administrator of the Northern Sky Region!"
Zeus turned his gaze to Astraeus: "Astraeus, my loyal comrade! I will never forget that you were the first to kneel and swear loyalty to me. Your loyalty to me, I will never disappoint!"
"Because I, Zeus, am the god who never disappoints the gods around me!"
"From this day forward, you will control the orbital trajectories and laws of all stars in the night sky. You are the symbol of the vast night sky. All order of stellar rotation shall be managed by you. You will be the weaver and guardian of stellar orbits!"
"And your lovely children, how adorable and how full of vitality they are. How much I love them."
"From this day forward, they will be the harbingers before my thunder and rain arrive, the wind gods of the four directions of east, west, south, and north! They control the winds of heaven and earth, bringing vitality and change to the world!"
Enormous joy and glory instantly filled the hearts of the three stellar gods and their children. The excitement of being recognized and entrusted with important responsibilities left them speechless.
Under the former divine king's rule, even though they possessed extremely powerful strength, they could only hide all their brilliance.
Only Zeus generously bestowed upon them this supreme honor!
They were not ungrateful gods. Endless excitement and emotion occupied their entire hearts.
Only Perses felt shortchanged because he alone had no wife or children yet.
He had already made up his mind to quickly find a goddess to start a family, to quickly respond to His Majesty the Divine King's call, to quickly have children!
The faster the better—the faster he could seize better authority! Look at his two brothers' children—all His Majesty the Divine King's intimate personal attendants!
The three stellar gods, with their children, respectfully and solemnly knelt down, shouting in unison, their voices filled with absolute loyalty and gratitude to the divine king:
"Great divine king, thank you for your generous gifts. The Astraeus (Pallas) (Perses) family will forever be your most loyal subjects. Your will is our eternal direction! We swear to follow you to the death, never betraying!"
Zeus nodded with a smile, his satisfaction evident.
Then he slowly stood up. Without extending his thunder divine body, he appeared quite small in the hall, but no god would move their gaze from him, and no god would dare underestimate him in the slightest!
He opened his arms toward the three incredibly massive figures behind Mother of All Things Gaia, spreading an embrace full of friendship, saying in a clear voice full of enthusiasm: "Brontes, Steropes, Arges, my dear friends, please come forward and accept the glory you deserve!"
The three Cyclopes moved at his call. Their tall bodies, slightly restrained, walked step by step toward the center of the great hall.
They had been silently standing behind Gaia, waiting for the divine king's summons.
At such an incredibly important divine assembly, all gods came personally and fully displayed their divine bodies to show respect for the meeting and reverence for the divine king.
Many great gods had incredibly massive divine bodies. Considering this, the divine hall for deliberation was specially built extremely spacious and grand. Only because Olympus was extremely magnificent and towering could it accommodate so many great gods.
But even so, once the three Cyclops giants stood in the hall, it immediately made this magnificent divine hall seem not so large after all.
Zeus also looked outside the divine hall, where there were three even more massive Hundred-Handed Giants. Their divine bodies were truly too enormous, making it impossible for them to enter the divine hall, so they stood respectfully outside.
One of their palms was several times larger than the entire divine hall. Extreme enormity brought extreme oppressive presence.
Even the incredibly magnificent universal framework Crius, whose mighty divine body could play with stars like marbles, appeared no different from an insignificant ant before these Hundred-Handed Giants, appearing extremely tiny.
These six giant gods had been imprisoned too long and had always been unwelcome. Now participating in this supreme divine assembly determining universal order, although their divine bodies were incredibly tall and imposing, they were more restrained than all the gods.
Zeus opened his embrace, laughing and calling out: "Briareus, Cottus, Gyges, oh my dear friends, you are truly too towering and massive, your enormous bodies almost capable of supporting the universe! Please forgive my inadequate hospitality, only able to trouble you to stand outside the divine hall listening to my words."
Briareus's thunderous voice, like Zeus's thunder, rang out: "Great Your Majesty the Divine King, illustrious God Zeus, being able to listen to your divine will, we already feel supremely honored!"
"We are incredibly grateful for your hospitality. That you allow us to set foot on your sacred Mount Olympus, we are already immensely grateful. This is already our supreme glory!"
Zeus laughed heartily: "My dear friends, although you can't quite enter this 'narrow' divine hall, please remember, Olympus forever welcomes you!"
"Although your bodies are incredibly massive, you are still forever within my Zeus's embrace, because you are forever my most loyal and reliable friends!"
Zeus looked at the six giants, laughing very cheerfully, his inner joy evident.
Having six such reliable and powerful, modest and loyal allies made any god happy.
His elevated and powerful voice echoed throughout the entire world: "My dear friends, you have made indelible contributions in this war!"
"Here, under the joint witness of the gods, I, Master of the Universe, King of the Gods, Zeus, solemnly declare to the entire universe: you are forever my most loyal friends! Forever the eternal guardians of Olympus! Forever the defenders of my sacred order!"
"Here, I more solemnly declare that any deity who dares harm or humiliate you is harming and humiliating me Zeus! Then they will surely experience the punishment that serves as witness to our friendship!"
"The witness of our friendship, my most powerful strength—thunder, lightning, and thunderbolts—will forever defend our great friendship!"
"Your loyalty to me is sincere and unreserved. I will repay you with eternal protection, letting you forever enjoy peace!"
The three Cyclopes and three Hundred-Handed Giants, hearing this, all knelt down in unison with their massive bodies. The deliberation hall and entire Mount Olympus trembled under the giants' movements.
They shouted in unison, their voices like thunder across the sky, echoing throughout the entire world: "Great Zeus, generous and tolerant divine lord! Thank you for your supreme gifts and eternal protection!"
"Under the joint witness of the cosmic gods, we make an eternal vow to you: forever loyal to you! Following all your will, going through fire and water for you without hesitation! This vow is eternally unchanging, never to be betrayed!"
The giants' unified shouting echoed throughout the entire world. Several gods in the hall felt heavy hearts.
The new divine king was not only invincibly powerful himself but also had such powerful loyal allies. Whatever he wanted to do, no god could stop him anymore.
The Mother of All Things was even more exhausted. Her six children's loyalty to Zeus was simply indescribable.
She had no doubt that although they couldn't possibly fight her, if her commands conflicted with Zeus's commands, they would definitely prioritize obeying Zeus without hesitation.
Zeus laughed heartily, indicating for the six giants to rise, saying gently: "My dear friends, you currently have no laws. Well, from a certain perspective, this is also a good thing. You don't have to bear the fatigue and heavy burden of maintaining universal operation like other great gods."
"Then I promise you, you will forever be able to nestle in Mother Goddess Gaia's embrace, freely roam the universe, fully enjoying every inch of scenery in this beautiful world, without constraints!"
"Wherever you go, all gods must treat you as they would treat me, giving you supreme courtesy and respect!"
The six giant gods—one hundred fifty-three mouths on one hundred fifty-three heads—all opened wide grins, saying gratefully in unison: "Benevolent and merciful divine king, being able to accompany the Mother Goddess is our greatest wish. Your generous gift of the right to enjoy the world's beauty—your benevolence, we will forever remember in our hearts!"
"Praise Zeus!"
Zeus shook his head, saying seriously: "My dear friends, please don't speak such distant words. All this is the reward you deserve!"
"However, the Cyclopes are fine. Although large in size, they can still move about on earth, but you all..."
Zeus helplessly spread his hands, his face showing a somewhat troubled smile: "You are truly too large. The world can't withstand your unrestrained play. Just you standing on earth is a burden for the Mother Goddess."
