Chapter 114 - Chapter 114: I Will Only Be the Greatest Father God!

He secretly pondered: Before conquering the realm, everyone united as one heart.

But now that the realm was secured and it was time to divide the cake, unity would be difficult.

The goddesses wouldn't fight, would they?!

The position of God Queen, sharing honor with the God King—that was the biggest piece of cake!

You must know that goddesses, or rather all gods, have never been willing to share their beloved.

Divine nature was vast and boundless—their emotions were more abundant than mortals'.

Especially goddesses were all very jealous, and in competing for male gods, their methods were always ruthless and merciless.

Jealousy born from love was enough to drive goddesses mad.

In competing for male gods, jealous goddesses showed not a trace of mercy when dealing with other goddesses.

Though having goddesses fight over him made his heart secretly very pleased.

Occasional squabbles were quite nice—interesting diversions in eternally long years.

Mm... as long as it didn't go too far.

Nyx, cold yet charming, seeing Zeus controlled into confusion by herself, felt both joy and pride in her heart. Her sexy lips curved slightly upward, adding to her allure.

She said with a smile: "Illustrious Zeus, great God King, now as master of the universe, will you still remember me?"

Lady Night's tone carried obvious probing and coquetry.

Zeus hurriedly laughed: "Dear Lady Night, how could I possibly forget you?"

"Olympus forever welcomes your arrival. I forever welcome you. My temple will forever be open to you."

Nyx's smile instantly vanished, her expression changing so quickly gods couldn't keep up.

She glared at Zeus with eyes full of dissatisfaction and a trace of feminine petulance, saying undeniably: "Nyx! Call me Nyx! From now on, only call me directly by my name!"

The always noble, elegant, transcendent and independent Lady Night now showed the willful attitude of a little girl when facing Zeus.

This contrast made Zeus even more confused.

Seeing Zeus's somewhat difficult expression, she softened her tone again, actively stepping forward. Her graceful and abundant mature figure embraced Zeus as she said gently with unprecedented tenderness: "Dear Zeus, within the world, I won't make things difficult for you."

"The Zeus of sky, the Zeus of earth, may not be my Zeus."

"But the underground Zeus, the dark Zeus, the nighttime Zeus—that's my Zeus. You must come accompany me often!"

Zeus secretly pondered—between the lines, she wanted to take away a third of himself! Night was truly too greedy. Was this a rebound from being suppressed too long?

He quietly swallowed and nodded with difficulty.

Seeing Zeus's reaction, Nyx's shy and tender expression suddenly changed, immediately becoming charmingly frosty.

She urgently pressed: "What?! You wouldn't want to go back on your word?!"

Zeus hurriedly held Nyx tighter, shaking his head repeatedly: "My dear Nyx, of course not! How could that be? You're so beautiful, possessing infinite charm—how could I bear to give you up?"

"Even if you wanted to distance yourself from me, I absolutely wouldn't allow it. Dear Nyx, how can you doubt that I'd bear to leave you? I love you so much—how could I endure the pain of leaving you?"

After Zeus's sweet words, Nyx finally nodded with satisfaction, recovering her clear and charming expression, relaxing in her heart.

She hesitated in her heart but still learned from ordinary minor gods, carrying some experimentation and curiosity as she raised her head to kiss Zeus's cheek, giving Zeus a sweet reward.

Though she didn't understand why many gods liked intimate contact after having bodies, she felt Zeus should like it, so satisfying him was fine.

Moreover, being embraced by Zeus felt strange but quite comfortable.

Besides Zeus, she'd never had physical contact with any god.

Zeus was startled by this sudden attack, looking left and right, afraid of being seen by gods. Instinctive wariness prevented him from carefully savoring that softness.

But he soon felt he was too stupid.

He was still too innocent!

The same with Mnemosyne!

Did he need to fear other gods knowing?

Did Nyx need to fear?

Would Mnemosyne fear?

They wished the entire universe knew!

Hera?

Hera didn't yet have the qualifications to manage this matter!

As for Metis...

Right, Metis.

The promiscuous God King thought of gentle, faithful Metis who had only him in her heart. His remaining conscience softened—he didn't want to hurt her heart today.

But after confirming no one was around, he immediately kissed Nyx's coldly white flawless pretty face.

He hadn't carefully savored it before—now he must make up for it!

The goddess's tender cheek's touch made his heart sway.

He had to say, Lady Night's beautiful face was truly comfortable to kiss!

Cool and smooth, incomparably tender, with a trace of dangerous yet extremely enticing sweet fragrance—that unique scent made him unable to stop.

Nyx didn't know Zeus had thought so much in this moment, assuming Zeus truly liked it. So she raised her head to kiss Zeus's cheek again, proactive with intimacy and curiosity.

The alluring dark red lips were unexpectedly soft and tender. Though slightly cool, the coldly beautiful and charming Lady Night still made lustful Zeus's heart surge, unable to control himself.

So he couldn't help lowering his head to kiss again.

Now Nyx was truly certain—Zeus did indeed like intimate contact.

Mm~ she quite liked it too. Strange feeling, even her body felt somewhat soft.

Nyx smiled slightly, saying gently: "Alright, I know you like it. I'll definitely satisfy you properly in the future."

Zeus's thoughts went much deeper than Nyx's. He swallowed his greedy saliva with difficulty and nodded heavily.

Then he released Nyx, confirming he showed no abnormality before walking shoulder to shoulder with Nyx back to the temple.

Suddenly released, Nyx felt inexplicably lost in her heart. Her joyful mood instantly dissipated greatly, becoming somewhat silent as she returned to her noble and coldly beautiful appearance, quietly following Zeus back to the palace.

She had long thought she was accustomed to loneliness, but sudden loss and emptiness made her understand again.

What gods feared most was always loneliness and void.

Gaining then losing was far harder to endure than never having at all.

The originally noisy and lively gods, seeing Zeus and Lady Night enter the hall shoulder to shoulder, instantly had all gazes focus on them. The clamorous great hall fell silent.

Lady Night was the last great god to arrive. Now all great gods remaining in the universe, along with their children possessing laws, had completely assembled.

As for minor gods, they weren't qualified to participate in this feast.

After the God King's succession, it would be their turn to come pay respects to the new master of the universe—god of gods!

All deities understood that since the great gods had all assembled, it was time to formally divide cosmic authority.

The new cosmic order would begin being established and implemented now. God Zeus would decide the universe's direction for infinite future time!

Zeus slowly walked to the temple's highest point, his tall figure appearing even more majestic under the temple's brilliant radiance.

He looked at the gods gathered before him, spread his arms, and called out loudly. His voice, like his thunder piercing the heavens, echoed throughout Olympus!

"My dear comrades-in-arms! Dear friends! This is our first gathering together, to celebrate the supreme honor we achieved through our joint efforts!"

"We defeated the wrong order! We defeated the corrupt order! We defeated brutality and cruelty! We defeated greed and tyranny!"

"This honor—I, Zeus, absolutely will not enjoy alone!"

"Today we gather together for the first time, sharing sweet honey wine and delicious celestial delicacies—this is victory's taste!"

"In the future! We will also eternally enjoy the universe's beauty and prosperity together!"

"Now, let us raise our cups! Let us drink together! Let us cheer for this great victory!"

"After we drink this victory wine, then we'll jointly discuss and establish a completely new righteous and beautiful order!"

As Zeus's words fell, the great hall instantly erupted in deafening cheers and shouts. The cheering echoed throughout Mount Olympus, soaring straight to the clouds as if to shatter heaven and earth.

The gods' passion and joy were completely ignited, falling into victory's wild celebration!

Kronos's brutal era was gone forever!

While the gods indulged in victory's feast, immersed in wine and song, gentle and loving Mother Goddess Rhea's kind beautiful eyes carried a trace of worry and expectation as she quietly gave Zeus a meaningful look.

Zeus immediately understood—their tacit understanding needed no words.

He then gave Metis and Hera a look, transferring responsibility for hosting the feast to them while he quietly left the temple with his mother goddess, seeking a secluded place.

The two gods found a quiet, elegant spot. Mother Goddess Rhea smiled softly, her expression carrying gentleness and comfort as she said quietly: "Zeus, you succeeded. My most glorious child, you saved your siblings and defeated Kronos, saving the universe's order. You're the universe's most glorious hero, most sacred god. I'm proud of you!"

Zeus smiled: "Mother Goddess, achieving everything today isn't the merit of me alone—it couldn't be separated from everyone's help, from the gods' support."

"That I could have today couldn't be separated from your meticulous teaching and protection, Mother Goddess. Without you, there wouldn't be my today. My everything originates from you."

Mother Goddess Rhea gently shook her head. Humility and loving kindness made her appear even more moving as she smiled lightly: "No, Zeus—you gave us hope. Because of you, we could defeat Kronos. You are our hope and future, always."

Zeus smiled warmly, extending his arms with attachment and gratitude to gently embrace Rhea: "This is my honor. I'm willing to forever be everyone's hope and future."

Rhea nodded heavily, her eyes full of determination: "Yes, definitely!"

She paused, carrying slight hesitation: "Zeus, I heard your earlier conversation with Mother Goddess."

"Zeus, Mother Goddess has no ill will. Her intentions are pure—she's just somewhat impetuous in temperament, appearing aggressive with fierce words, but Mother Goddess absolutely has no ill will toward you. She just loves us children too much."

She sighed deeply, the sigh full of understanding and pity for Gaia: "Mother Goddess has always been this way—impatient in temperament, always unable to coordinate our relationships well, but she has deep love for each of us children."

"Previously because of the Hecatoncheires and Cyclops, she argued with Kronos several times, nearly coming to blows. She also argued with Kronos many times for us children, fighting for our rights."

"But Kronos wouldn't listen at all, instead becoming worse. If Mother Goddess hadn't reached her limit, she wouldn't have thought of overthrowing Kronos."

"But even wanting to overthrow Kronos, she absolutely didn't want to completely destroy them or cast them into Tartarus to suffer endless torment—that's not a choice a mother would make."

Benevolent Mother Goddess Rhea completely understood a mother's feelings—past experiences let her completely empathize.

She too was a great mother goddess.

She sighed deeply again, saying gently: "Zeus, she just regained six children while simultaneously losing four children—for any mother, this is truly too cruel."

"Zeus, you're about to become God King, master of the universe. Mother Goddess asks you—hopes you can understand Mother Goddess's feelings."

"Before Mother Goddess escalates matters, please try to care for Mother Goddess. Please understand a poor mother's feelings and try not to escalate further. I'll persuade her well—Oceanus and I will counsel Mother Goddess together."

Hearing this, Zeus smiled, gently grasping his mother goddess's hands: "Mother Goddess, I understand everything. Please don't worry—I'll handle everything well."

Zeus smiled slightly, looking at Mother Goddess Rhea seriously: "If a mother watches her child about to step into the abyss without trying to stop it, even able to look on coldly, how could she still deserve to be called a mother?"

"So I don't blame Mother of All Things—everything she did came from maternal love. Any god has no reason to blame a mother standing up for her children."

Zeus said incomparably seriously: "A mother wanting to save her children—this is the universe's most righteous thing!"

"Just as I could survive because of your great love."

Rhea smiled with feeling, full of comfort and emotion as she nodded repeatedly, tears sparkling in her eyes: "Zeus, thank you for your understanding. You're the most merciful god—your heart is broader than the universe."

Zeus made a face at his mother goddess, rarely showing childishness: "Why does Mother Goddess thank me? Am I not your beloved child? What need for thanks between us?"

Loving Mother Goddess Rhea beamed with joy, her smile making all Olympus more brilliant and beautiful as she looked at Zeus indulgently: "Of course you are, always!"

Zeus smiled, then continued: "I can't completely satisfy Mother of All Things' demands now due to overall considerations, but I can understand Mother Goddess's feelings—a child's heart is beyond reproach."

"In the future, I'll handle this matter perfectly—I promise you."

"This is just a small matter. I'm not some narrow-minded god who'd take it to heart. Please rest assured, Mother Goddess—though there may be some helpless measures, I'll restrain myself and absolutely won't let the universe fall into turmoil again."

Zeus paused, then continued: "Moreover, I'm not some ungrateful, heartless god."

He said seriously: "I clearly remember that at my birth, Mother of All Things didn't hesitate to sever 'abundance' and 'flourishing' laws from herself to be devoured by the old God King in my place, letting me survive."

"In my youth, Mother of All Things raised Crete Island, transforming it into my hiding place, and together with Lady Night Nyx concealed my existence, protecting me from Kronos's persecution."

"She sent Adrasteia and Ida to care for me in my cradle—their careful attention let me grow up healthy and happy. Her creations Melius and Amalthea raised me—I won't forget honey and goat milk's sweetness."

"Even the crown I gave Metis, that token condensing my love, could only exist in the Ocean under Mother Goddess Gaia's blessing—that was her bestowed miracle."

"I've always remembered these kindnesses in my heart—how could I turn against Mother of All Things over today's small matter?"

"Without you Mother Goddess, Mother Goddess Gaia, and Lady Nyx's strong support, forget today's glorious victory—I would have been devoured by the old God King long ago. I wouldn't exist at all."

Zeus tightly grasped Mother Goddess Rhea's warm jade hands, sincere promises flowing from his mouth: "Mother Goddess, please don't worry about this small matter. I, Zeus, am absolutely not narrow-minded, much less ungrateful."

"I absolutely won't choose to make things worse—I'll only make things better."

"The same for the entire universe—I only want an infinitely prosperous, infinitely beautiful universe. I don't like a deathly silent universe full of dark cruelty—that's not what I pursue."

"Mother Goddess, please trust me. I won't become a tyrant like Uranus doing whatever he pleases, nor will I become a heartless despot like Kronos."

"I'll be god among gods. I'll become a god possessing love. I'll be the benevolent father god of all things and beings in the universe. My rule will be full of mercy and justice."

"Because I deeply love all intelligent beings."

Mother Goddess Rhea was incomparably moved. Her bright, loving eyes filled with crystal tears as she tightly embraced Zeus, the embrace containing endless love and trust.

She cupped Zeus's cheeks with both hands, trembling with excitement and comfort: "Zeus, my child, you will—you'll definitely be the most tolerant, most merciful God King! You'll definitely bring happiness and peace to the entire universe!"

"Zeus, my child, I'm forever proud of you, forever glorious because of you!"

Zeus smiled easily: "Mother Goddess, let's go back quickly—the gods are probably anxious waiting."

Rhea nodded repeatedly, the weight in her heart completely dissipating as she smiled: "They must be anxious—you're the gods' center. Being away so long, the gods must be desperately worried."

The two gods returned hand in hand to the gods' feast. After Zeus returned, the gods once again focused all attention on his majestic figure. The future God King's return brought the feast atmosphere to its ultimate climax!

The new era officially began!
