Chapter 1: Traveling Through Holy Soul Village.

Douluo Star, Douluo Continent, Fasno Province, Holy Soul Village.

Wang Xiaofei, a six-year-old boy, sat bored at his doorstep, waiting for his grandfather, Old Jack, to return. A short while later, Old Jack returned.

"Xiaofei, we've got something delicious for you today! Look what I bought!"

He opened the package, revealing a roast chicken, and his mouth watered.

Xiaofei was an orphan. Four years earlier, Xiaofei's parents had died. His father had gone hunting in the mountains and disappeared, never to return.

His mother, anxiously awaiting him, died of depression less than six months later. Before her death, she entrusted Xiaofei to Old Jack. Seeing Xiaofei's loneliness, Old Jack adopted him. Now, Xiaofei and Old Jack depended on each other for survival.

Unbeknownst to everyone, Wang Xiaofei was actually a time traveler. Nearing thirty, he had accomplished nothing. One day, he was watching a movie in his dorm room when, in his excitement, he kicked the kettle over, waking up in this world.

At first, I had no idea where this place was. One day, I saw someone hoeing the ground when suddenly, a phantom hoe materialized from their left hand.

They plowed at a furious pace, a familiar feeling. Others, on the other hand, conjured a sickle and mowed with incredible speed. Xiao Fei felt as if he had entered some mysterious fantasy world.

Then one day, while traveling to the city with Old Jack, they witnessed a fight between two men. One transformed into a bear, the other wielded a kitchen knife. Both men had white circles around their bodies. Only then did Xiao Fei realize he'd traveled to Douluo Continent.

Xiao Fei loved reading this novel and even binge-watched the anime. Initially, it was thrilling and exciting. But upon rereading it, many of the plots seemed illogical. Tang Fozu's endless cheating, the villains' constant demotion, and many of the human aspects were terrifying.

The Spirit Hall and the two empires represented two different classes and ideologies. In this fantasy world, the aristocracy triumphed, and many of their ideas seemed outdated.

As a time traveler, Xiao Fei's primary concern now was his awakened spirit and innate spirit power. As we all know, Douluo Continent is a fantasy sewer, and it can also be called the bloodline continent.

As a commoner, there is no value in survival. It can be said that spirit masters are nobles, and commoners may not even be as good as grass.

Xiao Fei has also read many fan fictions. Many people are trying to intercept Xiao Wu, punch Tang Hao, kick Tang San, hug kittens on the left, hug little witches on the right, marry little angels, and seduce the mother-in-law.

But in reality, Xiao Fei, who has lived there for a few years, understands that sometimes the gap between people in Douluo Continent is greater than the gap between people and dogs. Not to mention the simplest interception of Xiao Wu, you will probably be killed by Tang Hao's hammer before you even start intercepting.

As for others, if you don't have absolute talent and strength far beyond your peers, it is estimated that others will not pay any attention to you.

Haven't you seen Ning Fengzhi of the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect, Qian Renxue's master? They usually share a deep bond, and Ning Fengzhi taught Qian Renxue many things. But then, in the blink of an eye, he stabbed her in the back.

Taking advantage of the fact that 40% of the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect members were out on business, Ning Fengzhi dispatched 10,000 troops to completely encircle the sect.

The Spirit Hall members' undetected escape to the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect and the resulting siege would have been impossible without Qian Renxue's planning.

As for the other members, each one was likely more difficult than the other. The only one who might be relatively easy to deal with was Ning Rongrong, who had the least social experience of all.

To achieve even the slightest success in Douluo Continent, one must constantly strive.

So, from the age of four, Xiao Fei began training. In his previous life, he had no martial arts experience, nor did he come from a martial arts world like Tang Fozu, much less possess any internal skills.

Therefore, he could only do simple personal exercises: running, frog jumps, push-ups, sit-ups, and so on—all the fitness routines of his previous life.

Xiao Fei would occasionally take a bow and arrow and head to the surrounding hills to hunt rabbits, pheasants, and the like. Xiao Fei believed that eating well and exercising regularly would strengthen the body. Old Jack was particularly supportive of this.

As the village chief, Old Jack enjoyed a relatively comfortable life and would often provide Xiao Fei with roasted chicken and pork. In short, Xiao Fei's food was probably the best in Holy Spirit Village.

As a result, Xiao Fei was noticeably taller than his peers by half a head and significantly stronger. Xiao Fei had considered befriending Tang San, a fellow villager, but he seemed to be quite withdrawn from socializing.

His expression was stern, unlike a six-year-old. Furthermore, Tang San always preferred to escape to the hills behind, and following him rashly was feared to be a recipe for death. Besides, Tang Hao was also in the village.

Xiao Fei had considered practicing swords, guns, clubs, and other similar weapons, but upon closer inspection, he seemed completely clueless. The only thing he knew about was probably boxing or Sanda, which were relatively convenient, just hitting a sandbag.

It seemed that he had to hit the sandbags for a while every day. The only thing he was looking forward to was the awakening of his martial soul.

On this day, Old Jack said to Xiao Fei, "Xiao Fei, Master Su Yuntao from the Spirit Hall will come to perform the martial soul awakening for us in three days. You must pay attention to your mental state, don't make yourself too tired, and don't hurt yourself." After that, Old Jack took Xiao Fei and notified every family in the village who had children of the same age.

Xiao Fei has been very nervous these past few days, fearing that he would awaken a very poor martial soul, or have no innate soul power, and then he would have to farm in the village.

Old Jack didn't take it too seriously, and said that if Xiao Fei didn't awaken his soul power, he would stay in the village and inherit his position as the village chief, which made Xiao Fei smile bitterly.

It was a disgrace for a dignified time traveler to become the village chief of the Holy Soul Village.
