Seo Yujin didn't see Jaehyuk at the dorm or whatsoever. It was obvious that he didn't return. Most people were already out since they had a break. They'd be returning a day before the elimination next week, on Thursday.
So Jaehyuk was probably somewhere alone.
Yujin wanted to look for him. But then he figured that he should leave him alone. He should give him time to be alone for the meantime.
And so he did; he didn't bother calling him or looking for him. He gave him some days to be alone.

Time went by and before long it was already Sunday.
Seo Yujin and his roommates, except TaeYang, were all in their room. They didn't go home but decided to spend the time together and binge the episode airing that Sunday.
TaeYang had already gone back home.
It was the episode where their live performances and rankings would be shown. And so they were curious to see how it turned out, and most curious to see what the general audience had to say.
