Itachi shook his head, then stepped forward and tapped Sasuke's forehead with two fingers. "Being able to see you living happily like this… I'm already satisfied."
Since the Edo Tensei Itachi had left, no one had ever given Sasuke the two-finger forehead poke again.
Soft specks of light began to drift from Itachi's body. "My time is just about up. You've proven that I made the right choice. So, don't tell the younger Sasuke the truth."

The atmosphere grew heavy.

Himawari, who had been holding back her emotions, finally broke down in tears the moment she saw Buzz-cut Naruto.
"What! Naruto's dead?!"
The younger Sakura also gasped in shock.
"Don't worry," Buzz-cut Naruto said, patting Himawari's head and explaining to the younger Sakura, "If participants in the Holy Grail War die, they'll return to their original timelines."

Susanoo appeared behind the aged Madara.
