Daniel Lancaster knew he was no longer safe anymore. The way he was being attacked by everyone in the music palace was solid proof.
All alone in a strange place with no one but himself, it only made him withdraw even more, and now he was officially a member of the music palace, lodged there with the other winners.
While walking through the barricade at the biggest floor, he was called by a worker who had been strictly instructed to take him to his room.
"Follow me to your room now..." the lady in all black—more like a widow—ordered, and Daniel nodded and followed.
His body was so cold. Despite his heavy clothing and long sleeves, the weather didn't do him any justice at all. Daniel slowly followed her without questioning, his eyes on the floor, drifting as he thought about his family and the few friends he had made back at his school.
