Elias disliked Liam even more. He made his displeasure known with the look of disgust as he flinched away from the alpha. From the looks of it, Liam was about to say something even more ludicrous before he even opened his mouth. His eyes slid over Elias, slow and deliberate.
"What do you say?" he murmured, sauntering toward me, "we ditch everyone else and make good use of every room." His fingers brushed a curl off Elias's forehead, and he jerked away. "If you want a real alpha… you could have just asked."
A low sound vibrated behind Liam. Cassian rose from his seat, glaring at his brother. His eyes seemed to be darken by the minute.
Liam kept going, voice dropping to a purr. "I mean, Cassian is a bit… uptight. Controlling. Tell me, sweetheart—"
"Stop talking." Cassian warned.
Liam smirked. "Afraid he will like me better?" Then he leaned in, lips almost brushing Elias's jaw. "Or afraid I will want to keep him?"
