Cassian was an idiot.
It really did not take a genius to tell him that. No really, he had begun to live up to Elias' odd term of endearment.
He did notice Elias's distress, could smell it as the omega perfumed the air with his pheromones every time he had walked past him. But Cassian was worried about everything else.
Now, he held the omega in his arms, pressing kisses every now and then, and covered him in his own scent. More so, that everything Elias met Lucien, Lucien could smell that Elias was his. So he took the omega to his bed, scenting him, touching him.
Cassian didn't sleep that night.
He tried. God knew he did. He tried lying down. He tried closing his eyes. He even tried breathing exercises Nico once forced him to learn during an especially nasty panic episode years ago. But none of it worked. His head replayed one single moment over and over again.
