My name is Aeral Gren.

I was an S-rank hunter—one of the strongest in the world. On the international rankings, I stood at number five out of all hunters on Earth.

But one day, I woke up feeling unusually weak.

"What's happening…? Why does my body feel so heavy?" I muttered, realizing I couldn't even move.

"Did someone poison me?"

It wouldn't be surprising. Many people were jealous of my achievements, and more than a few wanted me dead to clear the way in the international rankings. But who would dare poison the fifth strongest hunter in the world?

My thoughts began to fade. Death loomed closer.

"Is this where it all ends?" I thought.

And then… I opened my eyes again, in a world I didn't recognize.

Crying. Cheering. The blurry sight of unfamiliar faces. Confusion hit me—wasn't I supposed to be dead? Why could I still hear voices? Why could I still feel?

A man's voice, then others. I couldn't understand their words, but I heard them clearly call me something—

"Lucian Leywin."

…Lucian Leywin? What was that? A name?

But… my name is Aeral Gren. Why were they calling me that? Why were they looking at me with such joy?

And then it hit me. When I lifted my hand… it wasn't the hand of a hunter. It was the tiny, fragile hand of a newborn child.

Had I… been reborn?

At first, I thought it was just an illusion after death. But when a warm hand held me close, when a woman's gentle smile and joyful tears reached me… I knew.

I had really been born again—

In another world.

---

Six months passed. By then, I realized I had been born into a world far more primitive than Earth. The house I lived in was made of wood, nothing like modern civilization.

But the shock came when I was four months old. While crawling, I tripped and cut myself. The woman who was now my mother rushed to heal me—not with medicine, but with magic.

She spoke strange words I couldn't understand, and then a green wind wrapped around my wound, closing it instantly. My first reaction was pure awe and disbelief.

This world… had magic.

Time passed quickly. By the age of three, I had already started picking up the language. I learned that magic wasn't rare—it was part of everyday life. My mother used wind magic, my father wielded fire, and my older sister… she was a genius with not one but two elements: water and fire.

In this world, most people began to sense mana at eight years old. My sister awakened hers at six. That alone proved she was a prodigy.

Back on Earth, I had power thanks to the "system." It worked like a game: slay monsters, gain their strength. But this world was different. Here, to use magic, one had to sense mana.

Mana itself had ranks, marked by color:

Red – the weakest, when one first senses mana.

Blue – the stage of steady growth.

Yellow – intermediate strength.

Silver – advanced level.

White – the pinnacle, said to be attained only by the strongest few.

Through books I secretly read, I learned that this continent was called Lunareth, home to several great kingdoms:

Eldoria – the kingdom of humans, one of the most advanced nations.

Althoria – the kingdom of elves, with pointed ears, silver hair, and long lifespans, hidden deep within ancient forests.

Baldurak – the dwarven kingdom, short but muscular master smiths of the mountains.

Wolkaris – the beastmen kingdom, half-human, half-wolf, with unmatched physical strength.

Luminaris – the Sylphora kingdom, with silver horns and immense magical power, dwelling in cities above the clouds.

My father was Alaric Leywin, a stern, commanding man with white hair and blue eyes.

My mother was Lyanna Leywin, gentle and loving, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

And my older sister was Althea Leywin, a charismatic girl whose presence alone left me in awe, with white hair like our father and the same blue eyes.

Compared to my lonely life as an orphan back on Earth, this was a blessing.

One day, while my family trained outside, I sneaked into the study. I found a book that explained how to sense mana: enter your subconscious, search for white light, and gather it into your mana core—the area around your navel.

I closed my eyes, followed the instructions, and to my surprise, I saw the light.

"So this is mana… finding it wasn't as hard as I thought," I mused.

I gathered the lights one by one. Only one remained. Once I absorbed it, I would finally awaken my mana and step into the world of magic.

But then—

BOOOOOOM!

The house exploded without warning.

And I was still inside.
