Info

A while back I had this idea where I wanted to create a character with access to every power and lead him across the realities to make him earn them. In short, a washed out version of a Jumpchain narrative.

I decided to finally write Codex Alexandria, which Micheal serving as the narrator and the bearer of the Codex. The idea is to make the Marvel Universe the main Host Reality, and branch out from thereon. He needs to complete quests to earn points and unlock abilities, which are divided into Tiers.

I don't like the VS Battles classification, so I decided to go with Despin and Alucard's Tier Chart (which I came across on Waifu Catalog).

Tier

The Tiers are as follows:

T1Has a useful skill. Most mundane people fall in this tier. Housewife, teacher, chef, doctor, trained fighter, political proficiency, high intelligence, etc.

T2Pushes the upper limits of mundane skill, or has a minor power, untrained power, or special trait. Special forces, political expertise, genius, child with magical potential, long lived, etc.

T3Has at least one extraordinary skill/power/special trait. Ageless Immortality or Charles Atlas Superpowers start here.

T4Has at least one well-trained/versatile/useful extraordinary ability. Superheroes and shonen characters often start here, as well as the most Limited Resurrectors.

T5From this tier on, increase in ability value and scale begin to have more weight. Has at least one skill/power/special trait of notable potency or (to use a Vs term) up to Multi-City Block level.

T6Has a useful esoteric effect or is up to Country level in power. Time Travel and Local/Parallel Dimension Travel start here.

T7Possesses a powerful esoteric effect or is up to Continent level. Particularly potent or valuable abilities often start here, including Conceptual Immortality, an Omniversal Hopper, or an Unrestricted Resurrector.

T8Abilities may be more abstract or conceptual, or up to Planet level. While many deities exist at lower tiers, this is generally the point where beings can start to be considered capital-G Gods.

T9Has an ability that can affect/influence/manipulate on a planetwide scale, or is capable of the genuinely impossible. Star level or higher, scaling infinitely upwards.

T10Not necessarily unkillable or unstoppable, but can somehow break or bypass power-scaling entirely. May act on a universal scale, but can only operate and/or exist within a single universe.

T11Able to operate beyond the confines of one universe and may be able to affect multiple universes at once. A being that embodies a multiverse is also typically found here.

T12Operates on an Outerversal or Boundless scale. Able to manipulate multiverses and beyond at their leisure. Traditionally holds near if not absolute power in their narrative, and is often comparable to the author, able to manipulate anything and everything.

Example:

Tier 1 is any normal human being.

Tier 2: Mindy (Hit-Girl) pushes the very ceiling of this Tier.

Tier 3: This is the realm which you can argue is still normal, the same way Batman is, but we all know how true it is.

From Tier 4 onwards, they are self-explanatory.
