GAIA POV:
Well, hello there — nice to meet you. My name is Gaia, or at least that's what I've been calling myself. I am not from this world. I'm in it, but I'm not from it. I came from the "main world" — that's just what everyone calls it there. No superpowers, no magical events, nothing. There was only fiction… and now, somehow, I've ended up inside a fictional universe.
It's kind of strange. I've become the planet Earth of the MCU, which is why I decided to name myself Gaia, even though I still think of myself as male. I've turned into something similar to Ego. I can reshape matter at will. I'm most likely the strongest being on the entire planet… because I am the planet.
Humans, to me now, are like bugs in a way. I'm pretty sure I've been losing my sense of morality as time goes on — but honestly, I don't really care. When you're human, do you see ants the same way you see another person? No. So, as a planet, should I see humans the same way I once saw other humans? Or do I now see them as I see the dirt, the air, and the oceans that make up my body? It's strange… but it makes sense.
I've decided that the Marvel Universe isn't chaotic enough, so I'm going to start trolling the hell out of it. And by that, I mean the plot itself is going to collapse into chaos.
So, I hope you enjoy watching me do this.
Now, for starters, I want you to understand my powers. I haven't been here long — maybe just a couple of days — and I've spent that time getting to know myself… well, getting to know my body and what it can do.
As I said before, I can manipulate matter. I also have global awareness — I'm aware of everything happening on my body, which, in turn, is the planet. I can manipulate life force in a way and control the planet's life energy. It's strange, but it works. I don't understand how, but I'll just chalk it up to fictional logic.
I can also affect magnetic fields — compasses, satellites, navigation systems, all of it. Another ability I have is the power to create an avatar. It won't truly be me, since I am the planet, as I've mentioned multiple times, but it will carry my will. It's like having a form of limited omnipresence, although really, it's just me multitasking.
I can create pocket dimensions on the planet — within my own body. There are already multiple strange dimensions on Earth if you think about it, and this is Marvel, after all. There are going to be lots of things happening here that even I, the planet itself, won't fully know about.
Some other interesting things I can do:
I can control all weather.
I can command the seas.
I can guide evolution in any species living on me.
I can reshape MY body at will — raising mountains, shifting continents, and triggering natural disasters at will.
These abilities could even act as a defense mechanism, because… what am I going to do if a Celestial shows up?
Speaking of Celestials, I should mention this, I haven't found Tiamut inside my body. I don't know if this means I'm in an alternate timeline or if something else happened, but Tiamut's absence is… good. At least I won't be destroyed from within. One less threat. Boom. Gone.
Anyway, I'm kind of lucky that I woke up in 2008. I know that for certain because, like I've said multiple times before, my body is the Earth — and I know everything happening on it. This is before any major events kick off. Iron Man hasn't stood on that stage yet and said his famous words: "I am Iron Man." The Hulk hasn't smashed his way through Harlem. Right now, everything's… pretty chill.
But not for long.
I can feel it… A disturbance in the force :) Iron Man is coming soon. I'm pretty sure it happens around February, so I won't have to wait too long. And honestly? I'll probably start trolling before then anyway.
Because, you know… trolls never rest.
