"Valerian!...Wake up!".
I groaned as a voice pierced through the haze of my dream, pulling me back to reality. My eyes fluttered open, and I found myself staring up at the familiar ceiling of my bedroom.
The warmth and passion of the previous night faded away, replaced by the cold, harsh light of morning."Valerian? Sigh! How long are you gonna sleep?" Mephistopheles's annoyed tone snapped me fully awake.
I sat up abruptly, my heart racing as I took in my surroundings. Gone were the six beautiful faces of my wives, replaced by the annoyed visage of my demonic.... well friend I guess.
"So... It was a dream?" I muttured with a sigh...
Yeah how could I be with my wives when I am involved in this mess involving mages and demonic spirits...
Mephistopheles's annoyance faded, replaced by a serious expression as she took away my bedsheet and threw it away.. "Very well," she said, her voice taking on a more commanding tone.
