"Really? That's rough," I responded, feeling a bit guilty. "He was only trying to protect your father."
"That is the supernatural law," Luca explained, his tone carrying the weight of something old and unchangeable. "If a Shaman places a spell over their Alpha without permission, it's a death sentence, even if the Alpha or Luna doesn't want it. The council sees it as tampering with divine order, an act of rebellion against nature itself. Once the verdict is given, there's no plea, no mercy, only the execution to restore balance."
