Chapter 1 - Omniscient View

Jian Yu, once the sharpest Alpha CEO in the corporate world, died the laziest death imaginable.

No bloody gunfights in a dark alley. No spectacular car crash orchestrated by rivals. No thrilling corporate coup ending in betrayal across a glittering boardroom table.

No—he simply died in his sleep, poisoned by someone who had slipped a tasteless powder into his nightcap.

A dull, undignified ending. Almost comedic in its plainness.

To many who had loved him, feared him, or hated him, it was a fitting end. The Alpha who clawed his way to the top of the corporate food chain, who negotiated mergers worth nations, who broke competitors with a flick of his pen—gone, without fanfare, without fight.

When Jian Yu opened his eyes again, it was not to the ceiling of his luxury penthouse nor the sterile walls of some hospital.

Instead, he floated in a space that was neither dream nor reality. Above him stretched a sky that seemed carved out of eternity itself: palatial towers rose into the void, bridges of crystalized starlight stretched infinitely, and galaxies—whole, vast galaxies—drifted slowly across the abyss like lazy fireflies.

Jian Yu hovered weightlessly, yet somehow he still clutched his pillow under his chin, as though even death couldn't pry him from the habit of sleeping in comfort.

He blinked, yawned, rubbed his eyes with unhurried languor, and muttered, voice thick with drowsy complaint:

"Hn… I died in my sleep again? How troublesome."

There was no panic. No disbelief. No desperate screaming of Where am I? or Why me? Jian Yu accepted this new reality with the same indifference he once accepted billion-dollar contracts shoved across his desk.

A presence stirred.

Out of the cosmic haze stepped a man clad in immaculate black and white. His attire was straight from the pages of an old-world portrait: a tailored butler's coat, crisp gloves, hair tied neatly at the nape. His shoes shone with a polish that seemed impossible in this void, and his posture carried a rigidity that could have cut glass.

His face was pale as moonlight, sharp as a sculptor's chisel, eyes cold and calculating.

And yet, when he reached Jian Yu, he bowed with flawless precision.

"Welcome, Master Jian Yu," the man intoned, voice smooth as steel wrapped in silk. "I am Unit 0013, your slave and servant in this realm."

Jian Yu tilted his head slightly, his lips curling faintly in amusement. "Slave? Hm. That doesn't suit you. Too obedient."

His gaze, lazy just a moment before, sharpened like a predator catching the scent of prey.

"You're no servant," he drawled, voice low. "You're an executioner."

The silence that followed was deliberate, weighted. The man straightened, and though his lips shifted into a faint smile, there was no warmth to be found.

"…As expected of you, Master," he replied. "If you fail your tasks, yes—I am the one who will cut down your soul."

Jian Yu laughed softly, tucking his chin lazily against the pillow once more. "So, I'm a prisoner, then. Sentenced by some Nether System?"

"Correct." The butler's voice was mercilessly even. "You were captured upon death. Your soul now belongs here. Your punishment: to enter corrupted realms, strip the Heavenly Sons of their stolen fate, and dismantle the beloved plots of their worlds. Fail once…" His gloved hand twitched slightly, as if in reminder. "…And you will be erased."

Instead of fear, Jian Yu's expression brightened with amusement. "How refreshing. A game with only one life. I like it."

The butler's eyes narrowed. "You take this too lightly."

"Mm," Jian Yu stretched lazily, shifting so the pillow fluffed more comfortably under his cheek. "Everything feels lighter when you've already died." His smile curved sharper, glittering with something both careless and dangerous. "Show me the worlds, Executioner."

The Five Stars

At his command, orbs of starlight drifted from the abyss, hovering around him like planets in miniature. Each pulsed with faint light, shimmering with the imprint of a different realm.

The butler raised his gloved hand, and his voice resonated through the void.

"Five worlds are currently available to you, Master. Each contains a favored son of heaven—blessed by fate, adored by the world, destined for triumph. Your mission: strip them of their halos."

Orb One: Corporate World – Twin Heirs

The vision unfolded into a glittering banquet hall. Chandeliers blazed overhead, champagne glasses clinked, aristocrats laughed, and cameras flashed as though trying to capture the air itself.

At the center of the crowd stood a dazzling Alpha heir: tall, radiant, brimming with charisma. He smiled with effortless grace, drawing admiration as naturally as breathing. All eyes belonged to him.

Yet Jian Yu's attention slid elsewhere.

In the far corner, half-hidden by shadows, stood a slender young man in an ill-fitting suit. His shoulders were drawn in, his glass untouched. No one spared him a second glance. And yet—when Jian Yu caught his eyes—calm, clear, quietly defiant—they glittered like the cold stars of winter.

"The favored one here," the butler's voice cut sharply, "is the legitimate Alpha heir. As for the illegitimate Omega—he is irrelevant."

Jian Yu smirked, eyes narrowing with interest. "Irrelevant? Those eyes say otherwise."

Orb Two: Cultivation Sect – Heaven's Disciple

A vast mountain range emerged, peaks veiled in mist, endless temples carved into cliffs. Disciples in white and blue knelt in rows, their cheers rising as the "Heavenly Chosen" Alpha stood radiant before them, treasures and praises piled at his feet.

Yet off to the side, unnoticed, a ragged figure swept the training grounds. His robe was threadbare, his presence mocked and shoved aside. His constitution was deemed weak, his worth negligible.

But the moment he glanced up—just for a breath—his eyes flashed sharp as a sword's edge. Calm. Unyielding. Quietly burning.

Jian Yu chuckled. "Hn. Even in rags, those eyes haven't changed."

Orb Three: Entertainment World – Brightest Star

Neon lights bathed the city, cameras flashed, fans screamed in fevered ecstasy. On stage, the "Nation's Son," a dazzling Alpha idol, basked in the glow of universal adoration.

Behind the curtains, in a dim rehearsal room, a lone trainee practiced endlessly. His steps fell flawless, his voice raw but pure, yet his peers sneered, dismissing him as someone who would never debut.

He looked into the mirror. His reflection stared back with the same gaze—unyielding, defiant, like a thorn refusing to wilt.

Jian Yu's lips curved higher. "He's everywhere, isn't he? A star refusing to stay buried."

Orb Four: Martial Empire – Crown Prince

The image shifted to golden palaces and jade halls. The Crown Prince, Alpha and heir apparent, strode proudly through the court. Ministers bowed, courtiers praised, the empire glittered at his feet.

In the shadows lingered a concubine-born prince. An Omega. Frail, overlooked, a political afterthought. Yet his steps carried a quiet steadiness, and in his gaze burned a fire the court refused to acknowledge.

Jian Yu murmured, amused, "A concubine prince? That role suits him far too well."

Orb Five: Gourmet Immortal Realm – Heavenly Chef

The scene swelled with laughter, music, the aroma of celestial banquets. The famed "Heavenly Chef," a beloved Alpha, presented dishes praised by nobles and immortals alike.

But in the smoky back kitchens, a slim servant boy chopped vegetables in silence. His apron was stained, his existence mocked by his fellow cooks.

When he finally lifted his head, sweat dripping from his brow, his gaze pierced through the steam—sharp, dangerous, unforgettable.

Jian Yu leaned back against his pillow, his drawl carrying lazy delight. "Executioner, do you see it? Every world has the same Omega. The same eyes. Beautiful, and yet—lethal."

The butler's expression did not change. "A coincidence."

Jian Yu's chuckle was soft, wicked. "Fate doesn't waste coincidences. I'll call him… Bai Ye."

The name rolled off his tongue as if it had always belonged there.

End of Chapter One

Jian Yu's gaze lingered on the first orb, where the illegitimate Omega son stood in his corner, glass untouched, eyes burning in silence.

His smirk widened, sharp with interest.

"I choose this world. That Bai Ye looks far more interesting than your pampered Alpha heir."

The butler bowed, voice low and precise. "As you wish, Master."

The orb of starlight pulsed, expanded, and consumed him whole.

Darkness collapsed.Light surged.

Jian Yu's punishment—his game—had begun.
