Two days later, it was finally moving day
It was barely morning when everyone woke up and the air was cold. A long line of black vehicles waited in front of the Drago estate like soldiers ready for war.
Today was the day they were finally leaving for the safe house.
Today was also Lila's Eleventh birthday.
Elias had wanted to bake her a cake the night before, but between packing and other important stuff, there had been no time. He had promised her that the second they arrived at the new place, they would make the biggest chocolate cake she had ever seen. Lila had rolled her eyes, but her cheeks went pink. Now the courtyard was busy.
The guards loaded the last bags into two large, dark vans. The twins ran around in circles, excited about the "road trip."
