Elias smiled at the woman who was worried about him. He just slipped his hands into the pocket of his hoodie as he shook his head.
"I'm fine. I just need... sleeping pills and pain relievers," he said, his voice strained. "Something strong. For... omega stuff."
The woman nodded, no judgment in her expression. She grabbed a few boxes from the shelf, ringing them up quickly.
"These should help," she said, sliding them across the counter. "Be careful out there, okay? It's late, and this area's not the safest."
Elias nodded, his hands shaking as he paid. "Thanks. Uh... is there a safer way back to the hotel? The big one near the health centre?"
The woman scribbled a quick map on a piece of paper, describing a route through better-lit streets.
"Stick to this path," she said. "Avoid the side roads. They're too quiet this time of night."
