Several entities appeared in an instant as the summons joined the fray.
*Roar*
The ear roared in agitation, seeing that more ants had come to stand in its path of destruction as numerous vines erupted from the ground, racing towards Luck.
Guns fired again as the vines were burnt to black, severely weakening them.
(Asher, distract it) Luck commanded through the telepathic link that seemed to connect him to his undead. (Freya and the other archers will target any weak spots, while the Skeleton Fighters will keep the surroundings clear of other beasts while also hacking at this big teddy.)
In seconds, Luck had already delivered his commands as Asher rushed in, catching the bear by surprise. He leapt into the air as he thrusted with his sword.
As usual, Luck's Firstborn passed through the bear's seemingly tough defenses like a phantom, its target, its soul.
*Roaaarrr*
The Forest Bear roared as a fierce pain he had never experienced assaulted his senses. A Skeleton Shield quickly appeared in front of Asher, cushioning a rogue vine that thirsted for retribution.
The vine broke through instantly with ease, but with it was held back long enough for Asher to twist out of the way.
*Boom*
The bear slammed the ground in a rage, causing vines and dust to erupt.
A whistle flew through the air as numerous arrows bombarded the bear from all sides.
Walls constructed of wood erupted in haste to shield their caster from the pain it was experiencing.
Unfortunately, it wasn't quick enough as Luck and a bunch of Skeleton Fighters raced towards the bear.
The undead hacked upon reaching their target, adding to the annoyance of Asher, who zipped around, slashing at its joints and muscular tendons in hopes of weakening it.
The bear growled, smoldering anger burning in its eyes as it scanned through the enemies attacking.
Its eyes locked onto Luck. Or rather, the three spikes that floated behind him.
*Puchi*
They pierced through his chest simultaneously, causing the Forest Bear to gaze at him with clear frustration in its eyes. He couldn't believe that mere 'ants' were pushing him this far.
Luck surprisingly smirked in the face of the Forest Bear's killing intent. "It isn't me you should be focused on".
*Flash*
The bear roared again in pain as Asher's sword ran through his chest, causing pain from deep within his being to surface. The bear's murderous gaze glazed as it suddenly saw red.
*Backup!" Luck ordered immediately as the Forest Bear's aura turned crimson.
His summons immediately complied, narrowly escaping the bear's fists by a hair's breadth.
Through the retreating skeletons, Luck felt its aura lock onto him causing him to immediately roll to the side.
*Boom*
The bear landed on the ground as it immediately followed up with a swipe of its paw, from which several vines extended from.
"You're faster than before," Luck said calmly as he leapt into the air, narrowly avoiding its claws. Unfortunately or fortunately, the wind pressure slapped him to the side.
He surprisingly landed on his feet as he looked at the bear with cold eyes, causing the hairs on the back of its neck to stand, signifying danger.
"Freya fire"
Two arrows flew through the air. Their bodies coated with a red aura as they slammed into the bear.
"Bang"
Although it couldn't pierce through its thick fur, it was enough to knock it back, making it stand on its hind legs just to maintain balance.
(Wrong mistake to pull buddy)
Four black whips materialized from Luck's back as they swung forward in an arc, overlapping each other as they seemed to fuse into one.
*Boom*
The bear stumbled backwards in a daze, not noticing as two pristine white spikes, bigger than any Luck had produced so far, pierced its legs, causing it to finally trip.
*Boom*
The earth shook as the bear's body landed, and just for added measure, two spikes pierced into the back of its paws.
The Skeleton Fighters instantly took advantage as they leapt at its head in a tight circle, swords raised.
*Roar**Boom*
The bear's enraged roar shattered their bodies, or bones, as the sound waves rolled off them.
Unfortunately, they were just a distraction.
*Whoosh*
The wind blew as Asher and Luck swiftly crossed the distance that separated them from its neck. Their weapons whistled through the air as they swung down with the strength they could muster.
The bear's life flashed before its eyes.
*Flash*
Its eyes dimmed as the final thing it felt was its head separating from the rest of its body.
Luck breathed deeply as he glanced at Asher. He didn't seem tired at all.
(He's an undead) Luck said firmly, as if to remind himself, walking over to the skeleton as he patted his shoulder, "Well done."
Asher clattered his teeth in response, causing an eerie sound to travel through the battlefield, and yet, it didn't seem to bother Luck at all.
(Collect as many beast carcasses and cores as you can) Luck commanded his troop.
He watched as they raced off to do his bidding, controlling his shadow to continue the onslaught in his stead.
(If only it could think for itself) Luck lamented in his head. Controlling his shadow was akin to splitting his mind. It worked for him as he was already used to multitasking, but it soon began to take a toll on his mind.
I need to strengthen my mind soon.
*Ding*
[Your Mana Circulation has increased in proficiency!]
[Your Mana Regen has increased in proficiency!]
[Shadow Manipulation has increased in proficiency!]
[Your Bone Manipulation has increased in proficiency!]
"Good" Luck said lightly to himself as the last message played in his head. He glanced around and, seeing the battleground in an odd lull state, he couldn't help but grin.
"I guess I should take advantage of this right?"
