Who's the protagonist? Ritsuka Fujimaru drives the narrative, but Anne Bonny and Mary Read's defiant spirit steals the spotlight. Their unbreakable bond and pride as pirates shine through, making them the emotional core.
Mary: "Take this!!"
Petite Mary dances freely, slashing with her cutlass.
Gilgamesh: "Hmph."
He parries, armor deflecting blows, as he sifts through his treasury.
Gilgamesh: "Let's see—"
Anne: "Mary!"
Anne's gunfire perfectly covers Mary's gaps—ricochets, predictive shots, unpredictable trajectories.
Anne: "What's wrong? Men who only block aren't popular, you know."
Gilgamesh: "A sharp-tongued woman. Your voice isn't bad, though."
Mary: "No looking away!"
Her cutlass slams down, a bullet targeting his exposed side.
He sidesteps, dodging.
Gilgamesh: "Annoying brat. Your crude swordplay could learn from a Saber."
Mary: "Don't expect refinement from pirates!"
Her cutlass weaves chaotically, paired with Anne's precise shots, a seamless duo—like twin wings, perfectly united.
Anne Bonny and Mary Read…!
Both: "Don't underestimate pirates!!"
Bullets dent his armor; the cutlass cracks his gauntlet.
Gilgamesh: "Impressive—scarring my armor. Not bad for thieves."
Mary: "I hate that smugness. Do you even grasp your situation?"
Gilgamesh: "Perfectly. A king struggling against thieves wounds my pride."
His treasury selection completes.
Gilgamesh: "Time for the curtain."
Counterattack.
Mary: "Gah—!?"
Blood spurts as her cutlass splits in two.
Anne: "Mary!?"
A golden sword of light pierces Mary's abdomen.
Gilgamesh: "Your swordsmanship outshines mine. So, I use a blade you can't parry or counter—a photon sword… or perhaps Gorgeous Sword? Names matter little."
Mary: "Guh—!"
Gilgamesh: "Your skill gives you an edge, but I'll end this in one strike."
He drives the sword deeper, incapacitating her.
Anne: "Mary!! Hero-King, let her go!!"
Gilgamesh: "As you wish."
He tosses Mary toward Anne.
Gilgamesh: "I'll teach you true marksmanship. Kneel and beg for mercy."
Golden gatling guns and machine guns materialize—rapid-fire Noble Phantasms.
Gilgamesh: Her archery rivals an Archer's, but a shootout offers no path to victory. Sparing Mary was deliberate—she won't abandon her partner.
Gilgamesh: "Die."
A barrage roars.
Anne: "Tch—!!"
She discards her musket, shielding Mary from the onslaught.
Mary: "Anne…!"
Anne: "Ugh—! Arghhh…!!"
Blood stains the deck, her body painted red.
Gilgamesh: "This is a king's battle. Your skill and tactics surpass mine, but quantity is my domain. Victory is inevitable."
No further strikes are needed—they're barely clinging to existence.
Gilgamesh: "This is a king's judgment. Blood suits you better."
Mary: "Such… a gap in power…"
Anne: "Like a storm at sea…"
Broken cutlass, shattered musket—defeat is certain.
Gilgamesh: "Your loss is sealed. But…"
A wicked grin.
Gilgamesh: "I'll offer one chance for redemption."
Mary: "Redemption…?"
Anne: "What…?"
He pauses, commanding silence.
Gilgamesh: "Pirate women, betray Blackbeard and serve me."
Both: "!?"
Gilgamesh: "You seem dissatisfied with that clown. Care to wag your tails for me to save your lives?"
Mary: "Switch sides, huh?"
Gilgamesh: "Indeed. Your tactics and flair are entertaining. Ditch that filth and bask in my glory."
His intent is clear—preparation for the next move.
Mary: "So, Anne?"
Anne: "It's obvious."
They rise, supporting each other.
Gilgamesh: "Your answer?"
Anne: "Here we go, Mary."
Mary: "Yup. On three."
Both: "No way, you tacky, gilded jerk!!!"
A prideful insult.
Gilgamesh: "Hmph."
Mary: "Don't underestimate us, Hero-King!! Sure, our captain's the worst, a walking death wish!"
Anne: "But! Even if a sewer rat's better, we chose him as our captain, boarded his ship, and entrusted our lives to him!!"
Mary: "If we abandon even that shred of pride, we're less than nothing! You're way more dazzling, no doubt!"
Both: "Our pirate pride won't let us betray him! Never spew that nonsense again, you gaudy fool!!"
Gilgamesh: "So, negotiations fail."
He chuckles, amused, witnessing their resolve.
Pirates… so free, so proud.
Gilgamesh: "Time to part. Your heads will adorn my prow."
Mary: "Try it! And remember!"
She grabs a broken cutlass, charging.
Anne: "Pirates are filthy and stubborn!!"
She aims a scavenged gun.
Gilgamesh: "What can broken weapons do?"
He selects his final treasure.
Mary: "Take you down!!"
Anne: "Mary, the cutlass!!"
A shot fires, ricocheting off Mary's broken blade, striking from a blind spot—
Mary: "Haaaah!!"
A full-force sword swing follows!
Gilgamesh: "Well fought, pirates."
The wings fall short.
He catches the bullet.
Mary: "Tch, no good?"
Treasures pierce Mary's body.
Gilgamesh: "You entertained me to the end. Your defiance, rejecting my offer—splendid."
Mary: "You're too much. Crushing tricks and honor alike. A stormy night's kinder."
Gilgamesh: "Naturally. None are harsher than I, especially to enemies."
Anne: "We couldn't reach you…"
Mary: "Total defeat."
They begin to fade.
Anne: "Losers get stripped bare, but we're Servants, so all we've got is this bullet as a middle finger. Sorry."
Gilgamesh: "No matter. I expect nothing from lowly thieves."
Mary: "Hey, I'm one thing, but Anne's high-class!"
Gilgamesh: "Next time, manifest in better form."
Anne: "You'll allow a next time?"
Gilgamesh: "Hmph. With resolve, knock on paradise's gate. You're mere 4-stars—no burden to my summons."
Another casual flag…
Anne: "Heh, generous. If we get the chance—"
Mary: "Yup, see you then."
Gilgamesh: "Farewell. Don't waver."
Anne: "Till we meet again, farewell—"
Mary: "Keep it up, Hero-King. You beat us so easily—lose, and we won't forgive you."
Laughing, the two Riders vanish.
Gilgamesh: "What madness. Exchanging farewells, even offering recruitment…"
He grips the bullet tightly.
Beautiful, gallant pirates. They'd get along with Master. Hope we meet again.
Mary: "We were set for an Iron Maiden heart-crush exit, but the author saw fans' love in the comments and thought, 'Killing these beloved two so cruelly? No way!'—hence this rewrite."
Anne: "Sorry to disappoint those expecting a messy end. Blame the soft-hearted author."
Mary: "Bye-bye!"
Anne: "We're just the warm-up. Stick with this story, okay?♪"
Mary: "Keep rooting for Anne and Mary! Thanks for the Grails and Noble Phantasm upgrades!"
Anne: "Farewell, and (mwah♥)!"
