The story of Hero Academy takes place in the year 2060, in modern-day Korea.
A century ago, humanity fought the Hundred-Year Demon War—a brutal conflict that finally ended in 1980 with the defeat of the Demon King. Though the scars of war remain, peace returned, and with it came the rise of legendary heroes whose descendants still walk among us.
At the center of it all stands Yeong Academy—the stage where the next generation of heroes train. This academy is where the game Hero Academy begins, and where destinies are forged.
As a game, Hero Academy is nothing less than a cultural phenomenon. Its genre? A classic mix of fantasy, academy life, and harem tropes—the kind of formula you'd expect from a flashy gacha title. But what sets it apart isn't the story, it's the characters.
In Korea, Hero Academy became the number-one gacha game, pulling in over 10 billion dollars annually. Its main selling point: beautifully designed heroines who became icons in their own right. Their charm was so strong that one superfan even spent $100,000 just to fully max out Han Soo-Yeon, the game's main heroine.

⚠️ Extra Character: Emiya Shirou
Role: Extra / Background StudentOrigin: Fuyuki, Japan (unverified)
In Yeong Academy's records, he's no more than a name on the attendance list. No heroic legend, no flashy entrance, no gacha banner. Just another boy in the crowd.
But unlike the other extras, this one cooks his own meals, carries himself like someone who's seen war, and speaks of being a "Hero of Justice" with a straight face. He doesn't realize this world is built on gacha banners and idolized heroines — and he doesn't care.
To the Academy, he is nobody. To himself, he is simply Emiya Shirou. An extra who should have been forgotten. An extra who might change everything.
