Chapter 10: Different Kind of Intervention
The discovery of Vanya's flight changed everything. The trio now had a way to both escape and contain the coming apocalypse. With Five's planning, Eight's speed and empathy, and Vanya's newfound control over her vibrations, they were a force to be reckoned with. But they couldn't do it alone. Klaus, for his part, was enjoying a new kind of peace. The vibrations Vanya created for him had given him a reprieve from the constant, tormenting whispers of the dead. He wasn't using drugs, and his mind was clearer than it had been in years. But this new clarity had also made him realize something: he was still just a medium. He could see and talk to ghosts, but he couldn't control them.
