The news reached out a hundred miles away.
Sherman Summers was fishing.
The phone rang, and after Secretary Garnett Golding recounted the cause and effect in detail, Sherman Summers got so angry he almost threw the phone into the water.
"Idiots, absolute idiots, played by a bunch of troublemakers. That Clifford Levin, utterly useless."
Sherman Summers was so angry his nostrils were flaring, he didn't even know what to say.
Garnett Golding quietly waited for Sherman Summers to finish cursing.
He asked, "Boss, do you want me to help Director Levin smooth things over?"
"No need, small fry, it's no big deal if he's gone. No need to waste effort on him. What about Kian Holden? Is he ready?"
Sherman Summers asked.
Garnett Golding murmured an agreement, saying, "I checked, and tonight he should take action. Caleb Ford isn't someone easily taken advantage of. Once Kian Holden moves, there will inevitably be blood."
This news lightened Sherman Summers' mood a bit.
