"Whoa! He's really mowing them down. I didn't expect him to have any fight left. Interesting, how did you get a second wind, from your last breath?"
Watching from a far the Mountain Man closes his hand, leaking out a white mist, that fall to the ground then rises into the air, enveloping him from head to toe in the blink of an eye. covering up everything but his red eyes and the smile on his face.
"Oh! So that's your nature? I can't wait to have a taste! I changed my mind it'll be better to wait and see that look on his face. So I'll let you grown for a while until you can match my pace." Laughing as the smile fades turning to a straight face, looking at the sky.
"I know your watching (Yasha said in ancient text)? Don't pay me no mind. I'll come visit you in person so we can chat next time."
Vanishing into the air as he watches Iramo change the sky, into a sea of black and blue, surging with lighting and creeping clouds, taking the shape of chains. Each shattering across the sky, pouring down heavy rain. Yet around Iramo everything stood still, becoming dead calm.
Drowning out even the sound of the rain. Filtering out everything as he dives deep in his brain, exploring the depths of his mind. Passing through the storm within and reaching the side. The Heart Of The Storm — The Minds Eye. Taking a seat at it's center as he look up to the sky, bathing in the sun while he watches the dark clouds clear from his sight. Spiraling around the center, embracing the light.
"I can feel it now, The Path Of The Wind. It's leading me forward, I still have a chance to win."
Iramo laughed as he stretched his hands out to the sky, watching them blend with the winds. Dragging them along his fingers as he slowly waved them across the sky, right pass his face. "So that's how you do it." Iramo made a sour face. "You set me up dad, you totally cheated in that race."
Pulling on the sky, Iramo rose to his feet, eyeing the corpse of the last monster as it falls in defeat, slumping down to the ground.
"I know your pain, I was there too. Just trying to survive, I was the same as you. But the difference is I want to live, not just survive. And only the strong can manage both and stay alive. You lacked that desire, that's why you didn't survive."
"Only those who embrace their true nature stay alive. Take that with you to the other side."
Iramo left his words as a parting gift as he walked away, clutching his side. Dragging his battered, bloody body up the mountain side, determined to keep going even if it's by hand. Iramo forces his body to keep pushing until he's reached the peak. Pulling along his legs with his hands, as he see the source of the light. A circular orb in the shape of a hand, reaching out from just over the edge, calling to him.
he's got no idea what it is nor who it may be, he had The Voice's words alone to trust as he choose his next step, wether it be forward or back? Without hesitation he turned around and started to walk away. Thinking about everything that had happened and what he remembered so far. Especially what was promised ahead.
Iramo smiled as he spoke to himself, loud and proud. "I'd rather die fighting then die looking back." Turning around without hesitation, he burst into a sprint and leaps right over the edge taking the hand. "There's nothing here for me, so there's no reason to go back." Right as those words left my mouth I got pulled into the overwhelming light.
I saw nothing for a moment but brilliant blue light until it's flare dimmed and visions filled my head, showing me seven figures cloaked in light gathered in one place. Each shining brightly in a emitting a light of their own as they look my way, raising a hand to flash a bright light my way. Changing my vision and sending me away, to a place I can't say I've seen before but feels familiar in a strange way.
A battle field littered with blood the same color as mines set ablaze with flowers of flames sprouting from the ground. Gracefully burning the bodies scattered around to ash as the white flowers begin to turn blue. In the mist of the beautiful spectacle in front my eyes a masked woman took my hands and cut me free. Covering me in blue flames that spiraled around me and took off to the sky, drawing my eyes to the sun.
Sending me into another vision yet again but this one was unlike the other, it wasn't warm nor kind. This time I saw a man locked up in depths deep than lights willing to go, caged away even deeper inside. He simply looked at me and smiled as if he was expecting me to come. "Your to early to be here now but don't worry I will see you again soon enough. Your nature and that body will be more than enough to make our wildest dreams come true! Go ahead and try to keep order, lets see how much fun you have before you do it my way. Once you realize that you'll be back one day … (Omari in ancient text)."
It creeps me out but I kept listening as I made my way in closer and he touched my hand "Your not meant to be here now, let me lend you a hand!" Right as he said that a bright pink flash devoured me who scrambling symbols and whispers all throughout my head, mumbling things that make no sense to me as it slowly fades away.
Leaving me in front of a gray sky, riddled with beam of golden light, falling through the clouds with something huge falling through. It split right down the middle splitting the entire sky in two as this massive creature came crashing down. It fell silently making not a single sound until it collided with the ground shaking the world as it tore right through it with ease, dropping me deep under ground staring up at the sky blinded once more by the star.
It a new place each time but it seems so off to me. I haven't been here before, at least not that I can remember at least. How am I seeing this now? Who's showing it to me? Is it The Voice? No, it has to be. Because somehow each one of these in some way has to do with me.
Wait, a lights stretching through the dark but who's that at the end? It's such a gentle glow and it's reaching out for my hand, I don't know who it is but it just feels right so I'll reach back with all of my might, looking right into the light I saw her silhouette reaching out into the dark. I know her even though I can't see her face nor can I hear her call. I may not know who she is just yet but she's out there waiting for me and for now that's enough to keep going, I can't stop now.
So I'll keep stretching my hand as I fall from the light. Watching her slowly fade from afar shedding tears from me, that fall through the dark. Illuminating my way as I see the blue hand returns, covering my eyes as I fall through the sky. Lifting them to revealing the stars above as I fall to the ground, feeling a rage – I don't know yet fill me with new found motivation to live. "I don't know who made her cry but I won't let them live.
The first step into the future, removes your last from the past. Their is no going back, at least down that path.
