"Trafalgar Law, get up here! I challenge you! As long as I don't kill anyone today, it's not against the rules. I'll make you lie in the hospital for half a year. Without your gun, what else do you have to be arrogant about?" The arrogant Drake pointed at Law below the stage, his haughty posture like a victor looking down on a loser.

Whoosh!

The recruits around Law almost instantly moved away from him. Only Ain remained steadfastly by Law's side.

"Too cunning! Law has only been training for three months, he absolutely can't..." Ain mustered her courage, glaring angrily at Drake. Other recruits also found Drake somewhat intolerable, but they dared not speak out. Ain, however, did. Perhaps because Law had once helped her, Ain had visibly grown very close to Law over these three months.

"These are the recruit camp rules. If you're scared, kneel down and beg for mercy, and I can choose not to challenge you," Drake said, mocking Law. "Kneel before me."

"You..." Ain clenched her small fists, puffing out her cheeks, and glaring with wide, dark eyes, a picture of indignation.

"Alright, I agree." Law gently placed his hand on Ain's shoulder, softly pulling her back. With a leap, he landed on the arena stage.

"Law, you can't agree! He's..." Ain said anxiously, clearly knowing Drake intended to retaliate.

"Don't worry," Law gave Ain a confident smile.

"Smoker, who do you think will win?" Hina looked at the two on stage. "That Law might become our junior disciple. Hina doesn't want him to be defeated."

"There's nothing to see. The outcome is already set. With Drake's power and his Devil Fruit ability's enhancement, in terms of pure strength, no one in the recruit camp can surpass him, not even I. I can only defeat Drake by relying on my Logia-type's naturalization, and Law's ability isn't a Logia-type." Smoker shook his head. "Law still has a long way to go."

...

"Admiral Zephyr, aren't we going to stop them?" On the distant spectator stand of the recruit camp. Zephyr and the instructors watched the arena from there.

"No need. Why didn't I take Law as a disciple three months ago? I wanted to see how much he could improve under pressure. I want to see his potential. Even if he loses today, so what? Only when Law understands the gap will he work harder," Zephyr shook his head.

"But Drake is clearly out for revenge."

"What's there to fear with this old man here?" Zephyr's eyes sharpened. "No one dares to harm this old man's students in front of me."

"Uh?" The instructors looked at Law in astonishment. He was actually being protected by Admiral Zephyr to such an extent, even at the cost of violating the recruit camp's rules.

...

"Come on. I'll break all your limbs. Let's see if you can heal yourself." Drake stared at Law, his face twisted in a murderous snarl. These three months, he had challenged almost everyone in the recruit camp, partly to pressure Law, and also to retaliate against the ridicule of the other recruits earlier.

"Roar!"

He roared towards the sky. Drake instantly swelled, transforming into his Allosaurus form. The massive five-meter-tall Allosaurus exuded a powerful sense of intimidation. Although Drake hadn't fully developed the true power of an Ancient Zoan Devil Fruit, it was enough to terrify the recruits. A violent aura permeated the entire recruit camp. All around the arena, the recruits retreated several meters, not daring to look at the Allosaurus Drake.

"I will use power that will make you despair, to instantly finish you..." The roaring Allosaurus seemed to make the entire arena tremble.

"ROOM! Slaughterhouse!"

Whoosh!

The circular ROOM space instantly covered the entire arena, exceeding ten meters in diameter. Law vanished. A cold glint swept past the Allosaurus, and Law appeared out of thin air behind the Allosaurus.

"Slash!"

The Allosaurus was cut down the middle, severed in two. The two halves of the Allosaurus quickly disintegrated, breaking into a dozen pieces of its body, scattered across the arena, with no blood!

"Too weak." Law lifted his foot and lightly stepped down. The Allosaurus's rolling head was pinned under Law's foot. "Too slow. With this speed, I'd pass you even without chasing. Utterly useless."

Bang bang!

Law kicked the dozen pieces of the body again and again, sending them flying. The body parts were scattered everywhere in the recruit camp, some even outside. On the arena, only the Allosaurus's head remained, pinned under Law's foot.

"..." Drake was stunned. Completely stunned.

"I lost?" How did I lose?

"Get stronger, then challenge me again. Come back when you're confident you can last more than three seconds." Law powerfully kicked Drake's head away, then turned and walked off the stage.

"Bang." Outside the recruit camp, the Allosaurus's head rolled down the street, followed by a hysterical roar.

"It's over?" The recruits stared blankly at Law as he walked past, instinctively making way for him.

"Law, you're so strong." Ain blinked her wide eyes, simply staring at Law in a daze.

"This kid." From the stands, Zephyr smiled: "Excellent!"

The recruit camp, silent for a long time, erupted in thunderous applause. As for Drake's outcome, no one cared. All the recruits looked at Law with admiration.

"So strong, Hina, I'm no match for him." Hina stared at Law in shock. So young, yet so unnaturally powerful. "Good thing, Smoker, that you have a Logia-type Devil Fruit. It's impossible for him to surpass you for now."

"No." Smoker's expression was grave as he looked at Law. "Although he doesn't use Haki, I feel his Devil Fruit ability seems capable of harming Logia-types."

"What?"

The battle concluded unexpectedly. It surpassed everyone's expectations, quickly becoming the most talked-about topic in the recruit camp. Law's strength gained the recognition of both recruits and instructors. All the instructors were thrilled; they seemed to witness the rise of a top-tier powerhouse. If a top-tier powerhouse could emerge under their guidance, it would be a tremendous honor. And the recruits were equally excited; being classmates with a future top-tier powerhouse would be a lifetime's worth of bragging rights and glory.

...

Law went to the edge of the recruit camp by himself and began training. He wasn't arrogant or complacent; he knew that his current power was nothing in the vast sea. He was still far from the strength he possessed in the original story, let alone the power of an Admiral or a Four Emperor. Training every moment, Law refused to waste any time.
