Their emotional moment is soon interrupted by the coordinator's voice.
"Everyone who has been selected stay back in your seats and the others should take your leave and Thank you everyone for Auditioning"
While the selected candidates were celebrating, the others were left with rejection. They could only accept this and leave with a heavy heart.
While some others tried to make some disturbances.
"How come those damn Beta's and Omega's were able to get in and we were rejected?"
"Did they offer something else in exchange?"
Rumours and disruption took place until they were forcefully cleared by the organizers.
"Now Candidates, everyone present here have successfully entered Round-2 of selection process"
"We will be randomly forming a group of 4 and they need to prepare a performance for us by 12 Noon tomorrow"
"What?"
"By tomorrow?"
As soon as the organiser finished his words the crowd started to mumble and felt that it was too soon.
"Anyone who feels it's impossible can leave immediately and their name will be withdrawn"
The organizers' sharp words made everyone silent.
Soon the groups were announced on the big screen and one by one all teams accommodated themselves in the hall.
Ren and Alex were in different teams and they went to reach out to connect with their team mates.
Just then someone from the crowd asked a question to the coordinator.
"So sir, what will happen after this round?"
"After this round I think less than half of you will be qualified for the Training programme for the next 4 weeks and the remaining will be sent home just like others" the coordinator replied sarcastically.
The atmosphere in the room intensified as soon as they heard that more than half of them were going to be disqualified.
Ren met with his team and they introduced themselves.
His teammates were Yuuto, Shou and Shuuya.
He then quickly glanced at them and observed them as they shook hands.
"So both Yuuto and Shuuya were Alpha's"
Their tall and striking appearance immediately made him realize their identity while Shao who looks handsome but a bit ordinary makes him the Beta.
Shuuya is a bit friendly type while Yuuto is a bit aloof and both have a muscular build which makes them defined among the crowd.
"So Ren, what are you good at?" Shuuya asks him.
"Umm.., I am good at dancing and.. I can play drums and i am not bad at singing either"
"Ohh, well then you will be the dancer for our team" Shao is quick to respond.
"I am okay with it, what are you all good at?" Ren asks them politely wanting to know their expertise.
Shuuya explains the situation to Ren.
"So before you just came I heard that Shou is good at singing. So Yuuto and I were good at songwriting and instruments.. So if you don't mind I think you can be a supporting vocal to Shou and be our main dancer"
Shuuya tells him politely, making his stance about his and Yuuto's clear.
"Ohh Great"
"Okk, so.. do you guys know each other?"
Ren is quick to ask Shuuya as both of them were quite close to being strangers.
"Yes, we met before in a previous event and we chatted for a while as met met each other after sometime"
He responds while Yuuto is still silent and just observing them.
"Ok Then, so let's discuss the songs and theme then?"
"Yeah Sure" Shuuya shook hands with him with confidence.
While Ren is discussing the song theme with his teammates. Alex, Leo, Rei and others also start to connect with their teammates and discuss the themes.
Everyone is working hard and eagerly waiting for their chance to shine as an Idol under the Lights of tomorrow's Audition.
As the night darkens everyone starts to head out.
Ren and Alex part ways with a hug once again.
Alex is on his way to his home on the busy metros just as usual like many other Beta's.
Leo left in his car like any other Alpha and the omegas were either picked up by their partners or just left in their own cars.
Ren is stranded in this new city all by himself, he walks down the street to find a decent hotel to stay for the night.
He put down his bag on the table and lay down on the bed and without much effort he slowly drowned into sleep.
The journey and a hectic day made him exhausted and he very much needed it for a fresh new day.
With the new sunshine, Ren woke up only to realize it's already 10 am and he can't be late for his selection.
He hastily freshened up and ran towards the Auditorium with his bag.
His team mates also just reached the place and they all entered together.
Now, it's the time of their rehearsal as they should be ready with their performances which will start after 1 hour.
Ren's team started to practice and they all couldn't believe that Ren is such a good dancer, his moves have enchanted his teammates but they all still felt their main vocal is not good enough and felt a bit concerned.
"Shou, didn't you tell us that you were a good vocalist?" Yuuto got angry with them.
This is the first time he spoke in front of them and he is quite fierce.
"Yes, I am good. Can any of you be able to sing better than me?"
His arrogance sparked anger in Yuuto.
"Yuuto, calm down" Shuuya meddles and tries to calm him down.
Just then one person from the Selection team arrived in front of them.
"So candidates I came in front of you to tell the rules of today's Round"
"All your performances will be recorded and may be used for your future endeavors, and.. this is not a team selection"
"What?" Everyone felt shocked and surprised at the same time.
"The scores are given to individuals based on the talents they exhibit in front of us, so that their efforts could not be wasted due to their team. So be ready to show all you have got and All the best for your performances"
The coordinator then leaves.
"You are on your own then kid" Yuuto gives a sarcastic smile at Shou while enjoying it.
Ren then sees Alex and greets him by waving his hands warmly with a smile on his face.
Alex notices him and waves him back.
The selections have finally started and one by one all teams started to give their auditions.
The judges start to mark the points for each individual on their skills and everyone is nervous including Ren.
On the other hand, some are excited as they at least got to debut, even as a rookie in front of judges at least and Alex is one of them.
He is all set for his performance with his team and he is ready to show his best although his team didn't look quite promising to him but they still had a good coordination which could help them to succeed.
"This is my chance, i should make it to the fullest even if i couldn't qualify to the next round"
Alex is in high spirits to display his talents and make the best moments on the stage which he has always dreamed of.
