Just then, the office door was kicked open with a bang.
A man in a tight black suit with a strange Bullseye tattoo on his forehead rushed in, already throwing three flying knives.
"Boss!" Bullseye exclaimed, then saw the corpse on the ground, his pupils suddenly contracting.
The three flying knives stopped a few centimeters from Arthur's eyes, then fell powerlessly.
"Bullseye, right?"
Arthur turned, his eyes glowing faintly with dangerous golden light, "If you don't want to die, then be obedient."
Bullseye's gaze moved back and forth between Kingpin's corpse and Arthur, his Adam's apple bobbing.
As one of the World's most lethal assassins, he instantly assessed the situation.
This man in black armor before him was definitely not someone he could contend with.
"What do you want?"
Bullseye asked cautiously, raising his hands.
"Smart man."
Arthur smiled, "First, get me an identity, open an account, and then transfer all of Kingpin's assets to my name. Accounts, real estate, smuggling networks, everything."
Arthur was a transmigrator and had no identity.
Bullseye frowned: "This will take time, and some assets require passwords and verification."
Arthur suddenly appeared in front of Bullseye, close enough to smell his breath: "Don't play tricks. I can hear your heart rate accelerating and see through your lies."
He pointed to his eyes, "X-ray Vision, you know? I see that gold-plated pistol in your pocket."
A drop of cold sweat slid down Bullseye's forehead.
He had never felt such pressure, like a mouse being targeted by a cat.
"Three days."
Bullseye gritted his teeth, "Give me three days."
"One day."
Arthur's voice was unquestionable, "By this time tomorrow, I want to see all documents signed. Now, take me to Kingpin's vault."
Bullseye hesitated for a moment, but when he saw the red light rekindle in Arthur's eyes, he quickly nodded: "Follow me."
Arthur followed Bullseye into the secret room in the depths of the office.
Passing Kingpin's corpse, he turned and shot a Heat Vision, instantly reducing the corpse to ashes.
"This is cleaner, isn't it?" Arthur said to the stunned Bullseye.
On the way to the vault, Arthur diverted some of his attention to check the system interface.
[Task Completed: First Villain Defeated]
[Reward: 500 points, a pair of smart glasses that make people around you subconsciously ignore you.]
Arthur felt these glasses were useless; did he still need to hide?
Taking over Kingpin's criminal empire was just a hobby; in this dangerous Marvel Universe, he needed to become stronger.
For example, OAA, for example, the Living Tribunal, for example, the cosmic gods...
These beings could easily kill him.
And with the power of Silver Superman, he could do much more.
"We're here."
Bullseye's voice interrupted his thoughts, "It requires Kingpin's fingerprint and retina scan."
Arthur directly punched through the half-meter-thick alloy door: "Skip the trouble."
Inside the vault, stacks of cash, gold bars, artworks, and documents were neatly arranged.
But Arthur's attention was drawn to a special safe in the corner.
Super Vision showed that it contained a tube of green liquid and some high-tech equipment.
"It seems Kingpin has more little secrets than I imagined." Arthur shook his head and quipped.
"Bullseye, from now on, you work for me. Your salary will be doubled, on the condition that you don't betray me."
Bullseye looked at the violently destroyed vault door, then at the red light flickering in Arthur's eyes, and slowly knelt on one knee.
"Yes, Boss."
Arthur nodded in satisfaction and walked towards the special safe.
His Super Hearing had already picked up the sound of Police sirens in the distance; it seemed the alarm Kingpin pressed before his death didn't just call his subordinates.
"With such power, whether I'm a bad guy or a good guy, I decide."
With a gentle squeeze, the safe made of special alloy was torn open, revealing the top-secret items inside.
Inside the box lay test tubes glowing with an eerie green light, next to an encrypted hard drive and a few paper documents.
"Inferior Super Soldier Serum?"
Arthur scoffed, his Super Vision instantly penetrating the test tube glass, analyzing the molecular structure inside.
"It seems this old Kingpin was also dabbling in human enhancement experiments."
His gaze swept over the documents, which recorded failed experiment logs.
All twelve volunteers died after injection, with causes ranging from organ rupture to complete cellular dissolution.
"Boss, the Police are almost here."
Bullseye stood at the door, the strange Bullseye tattoo on his forehead slightly distorted with tension, "At least twenty Police cars, and..."
Arthur didn't even lift his head, casually tossing the serum test tube into the air and catching it: "You handle it. Tell them there was a gas explosion here, Mr. Kingpin is safe, and he'll personally call the Police Director tomorrow."
Bullseye hesitated for a moment: "This, they won't believe it."
"Then make them believe it." Arthur suddenly looked up, a red light flashing in his eyes.
"Do I need to teach you?"
Bullseye trembled, quickly lowering his head: "No, Boss. I'll go handle it right away."
Once Bullseye left, Arthur's Super Vision penetrated the floor, looking down at the building.
Thirty meters underground, a fully equipped laboratory came into view.
A dozen researchers in white coats were busy, and complex DNA helix structures scrolled across the wall displays.
"Just right to test it out."
Arthur glanced at the serum, intrigued, and slowly floated up, flying directly out.
Then, he flew rapidly towards the laboratory.
0.1 seconds later, he appeared in the center of the laboratory.
"Everyone, out." Arthur's voice wasn't loud, but it boomed through the laboratory.
The researchers turned in terror, seeing the black figure suspended in mid-air; a few timid ones directly collapsed to the ground.
"Who... who are you?"
A bald middle-aged man asked tremblingly, his name tag reading Chief Scientist Russell.
Arthur was too lazy to answer, his eyes glowing faintly, two Heat Vision rays grazing Russell's ears, cutting the bottle behind him in half.
The dripping liquid hissed on the floor.
"Anyone who remains here in three seconds will become part of that waste." Arthur said calmly.
The laboratory emptied in a few seconds.
Arthur looked around, his Super Brain rapidly absorbing all the information in the laboratory.
His gaze swept over every piece of equipment, every document; all data quickly flooded into his consciousness.
"Too primitive."
He shook his head and walked towards the main computer.
His finger lightly touched the interface, and the Kryptonian armor directly connected with the electronic system, instantly decrypting all encrypted files.
Kingpin's Super Soldier project unfolded before him.
From stolen Military data to illegal human experiments, from failed serum formulas to a pathetic 0.7% success rate.
"Waste of time."
Arthur closed the file and slowly floated towards the center of the laboratory.
He raised his head, his Super Vision extending to a global range.
New York Public Library, MIT, various S.H.I.E.L.D. documents, Wakanda Vibranium research archives.
Countless knowledge was analyzed in his consciousness.
Arthur's Super Vision penetrated limitations, directly reading all the knowledge stored in these places.
Two seconds later, he opened his eyes.
"Done." Arthur said softly.
Now his brain stored the cutting-edge knowledge of human civilization in physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and quantum mechanics, from basic theories to advanced applications, without omission.
He walked to the experimental bench, picked up the inferior serum, and his Super Vision delved into the molecular level to begin analysis.
"Incorrect base sequence, protein folding defects, incomplete RNA transcription." Arthur analyzed while lightly tapping the test tube with his finger.
