Jaden, the eldest child and Alpha of Sasha and Tyler, was sitting at the kitchen table eating a bowl of cereal. It was a Saturday morning and she had plans to just chill out at the house, and work on homework. Now a freshmen at a community college, she still lived at home with her parents.
Jacob, another child and sibling to Jaden, came into the living room and bounced on the couch. He body slammed himself into the cushions and turned the televison on. He flipped through the channels.
"And Theresa of the infamous Theresa pack-"
"Whoa! Change it back," Jaden said.
Jacob flipped back to the news channel to see what was being said about their grandsire. The news footage showed Theresa with a jacket over her head being taken into one of the jails of Ashley.
Jaden's spoon hovered halfway to her mouth, frozen mid-air as the cereal milk dripped onto the tablecloth. The kitchen's fluorescent lights buzzed overhead, casting harsh shadows.
"Holy shit, that's right here!" Jacob yelled.
