Back in the city, at Lucien's apartment.
Adrian sat between Ash and Lucien, their heads resting on the couch. He held a box of popcorn in his hand as all three watched the screen quietly, taking turns with the popcorn.
On the TV, the female lead was shot by a jealous lover. The male lead held her, crying out her name in disbelief. Lucien's gaze darkened. The scene reminded him of the vision he had seen earlier, himself being shot.
Adrian noticed his expression, quickly grabbed the remote, and switched off the television.
"Look at me," Adrian said firmly. "Don't overthink what you saw. Nothing's going to happen to you. Whoever tries to harm you will have to pass through me first, okay?"
Lucien nodded, and Adrian pulled him into a hug.
Ash, trying to lighten the mood, asked Lucien, "Didn't you say there was some porridge and flatbread left?"
Lucien blinked, his tone softening. "Yeah, they're in the fridge."
