Chapter 143 - Chapter 143 Nobita Is Captured

Late at night, the city lights were sparse, and besides the soldiers patrolling the streets and alleys, no dog dared to wander outside.

"Bathroom, where's the bathroom..."

A faint mumble came from beside a wanted poster. Nobita, in a daze, crawled out of the wallpaper house and went into the street to find a bathroom.

He was already half-asleep and thought he was at home. After searching for a toilet for a long time, he just found a corner to relieve himself, a look of extreme comfort on his face.

"Eh, where is this place? How did I get out?"

"No, I have to go back quickly. It'll be bad if I encounter danger!"

After his bladder was relieved, Nobita's mind instantly woke up. He looked at the dark night, biting his fingers in terror.

Just as he was about to return the way he came, a team of people suddenly entered the alley from outside.

"We mobilized so many soldiers, why can't we find any clues? Are those guys rats? They hide so well!!!"

Saberu, patrolling the street, had a cold expression. He had run for several hours to no avail, which truly tired his legs.

He lamented how difficult the enemies were, not knowing if they had flown into the sky or burrowed underground. Searching house by house, they still found nothing.

"Captain, I think they might have really flown into the sky, just like when they surrounded the prison. Otherwise, we wouldn't be able to find them."

A subordinate beside him said.

"Hmph, even if they flew into the sky, I'll drag them down."

Saberu clenched his fist, a fierce glint in his eye, and strode to search the last alley.

If it still wasn't over, he would have to dismiss his team and go home to sleep.

"It's over, it's over!"

"They're coming!"

Nobi Nobita heard the commotion and trembled with fear, not even having time to pull up his pants, hesitating in place, 'watching birds' under the moon.

And then, the clanking of armor grew closer.

In a panic, Nobita spotted a wooden barrel placed by the wall and, without a second thought, hid inside.

Saberu hurried over and saw that the surroundings were empty, with no abnormalities, except for a puddle of yellowish liquid with a strange odor in the corner.

"Doesn't smell like us..."

The meticulous Saberu noticed the anomaly. His single eye narrowed slightly, and his keen dog nose followed the lingering scent in the air, leading him to the wooden barrel where Nobita was hiding.

"Found you."

Saberu sneered lightly, and with a clang of a sword, the wooden barrel instantly split in two, revealing Nobi Nobita's head completely intact.

"So it's the princess's companion. Capture this monkey for me."

"Ah, you... don't come over, don't hurt me, help, Doraemon!"

The soldiers behind him surrounded him. Nobita jumped out of the half-barrel, clutching his head and scurrying away, running back and forth in fear.

Unfortunately, it was a dead end, and his pants weren't even pulled up. He tripped over himself after only a few steps.

"Hahahaha, what an idiot."

Several soldiers easily captured Nobita, arrogantly mocking the bare-bottomed monkey.

"Tell me, where is Kenfeike hiding?"

"If you tell the truth, I might consider sparing your life."

Saberu looked down at Nobi Nobita, pressing his hand on his head.

"I don't know anything! You better let me go right now, or you'll be in big trouble when Doraemon gets here!!!"

Nobita said with some backbone, suppressing the fear in his heart, almost wetting himself again.

Saberu's sinister eyes narrowed. This kind of excuse couldn't even fool a three-year-old, so how could it fool him?

"Don't worry, I'll make you know."

"I believe Kenfeike is definitely not someone who would stand by and watch someone die. You can be a perfect bait, and then we'll catch them all in one fell swoop."

Saberu laughed wildly a few times, then turned and strode away. Nobita, with swords held to his neck by several soldiers, cried loudly but dared not struggle in the slightest, and yellowish liquid dripped all over the ground.

...

...

The next morning, inside the wallpaper house, Nobi Hiroshi was lying on the bed, stroking Kenfeike's fluffy ears. Her snow-white little tail wagged, making his heart itch. Petting a beast-eared girl really was nice.

"Hiss~ Tian Mei, what are you doing..."

Suddenly suffering a fatal blow to his 'kun', Nobi Hiroshi's body trembled. He turned to look at Tian Mei, who was pouting so high on his side that you could hang an oil pot on her.

"Hmph, you're fickle. You haven't touched me once since you opened your eyes."

Her small hand tightly gripped his powerful yet vulnerable spot. Tian Mei stared at Kenfeike, who was squint ing her eyes in Nobi Hiroshi's arms, looking completely content. She instantly felt neglected, and her grip gradually tightened a few more points.

"Stop~ Stop~"

Nobi Hiroshi begged humbly, freeing one hand to caress Tian Mei's jade-like back, making her transform back into a docile little kitten.

He just wanted to pet dog ears, what was wrong with that? People always had a sense of novelty; this was an unavoidable problem.

But it was getting late now, and it was time to prepare to set off for the Giant Stone Statue to investigate.

Nobi Hiroshi, who had been petting both cats and dogs, was in a great mood. He changed his clothes and came to the living room, enjoying a peaceful breakfast with everyone.

"No, this is bad!"

"Nobita, he's gone!"

Doraemon ran out of Nobita's room in a panic. He had searched every corner of the small room but still couldn't find him.

He was clearly there last night, and just a few hours later, he was gone!

"Doraemon, don't panic. Use the Clue Magnifier to find Nobita."

Nobi Hiroshi put down his soy milk and fried dough stick, his expression stunned. An unmanageable child really did cause trouble for his old father.

"Oh, right, the Clue Magnifier! I was too nervous just now to remember it."

Doraemon scratched his head sheepishly, then took out the [Clue Magnifier] to search for Nobita's whereabouts. A scene quickly appeared on the mirror.

Nobita was seen being taken away by Saberu and his men, bare-bottomed and crying, a sight that truly made listeners grieve and onlookers shed tears.

"Oh no, Nobita really was captured! What in the world did that guy do?! This is really bad news."

Doraemon's face darkened, feeling a bit self-reproachful. If only he had watched him better, or used a gadget with a built-in toilet, it would have been fine.

But regretting it now was useless. They had to find a way to rescue Nobita.

Without needing to think much, Nobita was surely being used as bait to lure them out. The most urgent task was to go to the streets to gather information, to see if he was imprisoned or what.

Doraemon put Stone Hats on everyone, then used the spray to hide their scent, and they all went invisible for a secret operation.

When they arrived at the market, a familiar yellow-clothed boy was tied to the execution stand. Below, the dog crowd was discussing, some dogs looking terrified, while others calmly ate their melons.

"Nobita!!!"

Doraemon saw Nobita tied up and excitedly wanted to rush forward.

"Doraemon, calm down. Didn't you see the soldiers hiding on both sides of the alley?"

Nobi Hiroshi clamped Doraemon's head, forcing him to calm down.

Axe-wielding executioners were hidden on both sides of the dark alley, holding sharp cleavers, ready to strike. Recklessness was out of the question.

"I know, but..."

Doraemon froze in place, looking at Nobi Nobita on the execution stand, clenching his teeth tightly, suppressing the thoughts in his heart.

On the stage, the yellow-clothed boy, with his limbs bound, was pitifully calling for help.

"Doraemon, Hiroshi, Gian, Xiao Fu, Tian Mei, where are you? Hurry and save me! Wuwuwuwu—"

Nobi Nobita cried tears like rain. He was truly scared today, having involuntarily lost control three times, his shorts carrying a strong foul odor.

Those people had just said that if no one came to save him, they would cremate him. Just thinking about it sent shivers down his spine.
