Jasmine woke up with a banging headache! Her head hurt so bad that opening an eye became a difficult chore.
After a few minutes of trying to, she finally forced her eyes open, Jasmine found herself face to face with her Ex's boss, Hector Jones.
What in the…Wtf?
"Fuck, fuck, fuck"
Jasmine whispered as she quietly got off the bed and got to dressing up ensuring that she didn't make any noise so that she did not wake the man who was still sleeping.
"I should have known! He looked too familiar." she whispered as she picked up her things. She looked at his sleeping face, he was so handsome with his hair longer and it looked darker than she had known it to be.
She had only seen him on two different occasions but she was sure this was him. This was Karl's Boss!
She was flooded with the emotions from the day before all over again; First, her scholarship -she had almost forgotten it because of Karl and Bella's betrayal.
It all suddenly dawned on her and for a moment she paused, sat down on a chair and let her tears fall silently for a short moment.
Then she wiped her tears, picked up her phone and took one last look at Hector before walking out of the room.
She walked into a man who looked like he was a butler or something.
"Good morning, sir. Please what's the way out?"
She asked with a shy smile on her face. She hoped that she did not have to knock him out because he looked like a nice old man.
But if he got in the way of her escape, she'll sadly have to knock him out.
The man surprisingly smiled back and said,
"It's on the right, down the hallway. Are you sure you do not want to stay for breakfast?"
She was happy she made that decision.
"That is too kind of you but I have to be on my way right now. Thank you and bye."
"Good bye, miss. I do hope to see you soon."
Jasmine walked away with a sad feeling, she knew he was definitely not seeing her soon.
As she walked out of the door, she took out her maps app and started to walk before she called home,
"Hi mum, hi dad, good morning. Karl broke up with me and so I moved out. Can I come home?"

Hector's POV
Hector had woken up after hearing Herbert's voice down the hallway. He almost bolted out of bed when he heard the voice of the lady he had spent the night with.
After rethinking it, He decided that it would be better to find and her and considering how small the city was, she was too sure that she would be able to find her.
Also she was his employee's ex so finding her should not be hard at all.
He remembered how furious she had been while she spoke about her ex, Karl. He was not surprised, Karl had been known to be a flirt.
No one even knew that he had been in a serious relationship and that was crazy considering the fact that they had been living together for more than two years.
"Jasmine," he said out to the empty room as he remembered the way the woman who had him acting like a body guard in the club had said her name.
How could someone had treated her that badly? She spoke about her size and he thought she was cute, chubby. And if he was saying the truth, he weight did not matter to him at all.
He remembered the first day he had seen her with Karl, it had been in passing but even then she had caught his eyes.
She had been shy and Karl had been excessive, it did not look like they were even a couple. The only reason why he had not relentlessly pursued her in his normal playboy fashion was because the man was an employee and a loud mouthed one at that.
But things were different now, he would find her, she could not run away from him. Not even if she tried to.
Sighing he rolled over in the bed so his nose was dug into the side of the bed where her scent was strongest.
He let the scent that was all hers to envelope him. She had not even stayed back for breakfast, he would have loved to give her breakfast in bed he thought as he fell back unto the bed and thought of how he was going to get to see her again.
"Good morning sir, I thought I should remind you that your mother might be coming into the city in two days.
Even though it is supposed to be a surprise, I believe you would like to be ready for her arrival."
Groaning in complaint, Hector got up to a sitting position before addressing Herbert,
"I did not give you the permission into my room, Herbert and neither did I tell you that I was ready to start my day."
Herbert turned around,
"I will see you in an hour, sir. The car will be waiting to take you for todays board meeting."
He said ignoring Hector and walked away.
Chuckling, Hector got up on his feet. He knew that Herbert was not interested in his excuses so he would get to ensuring that he was ready in an hour.
"What did you think about her, Herbert? I heard you talking to her."
He asked before Herbert had walked out of the room.
"I think that she is a nice girl and you should not start something if you are not ready for it."
With that, he was gone from the room.
Hector was not surprised by Herbert's response and from it, he knew that Herbert definitely liked her, so he had his support. That would make things easier for him.
He wanted her and nothing was going to get in the way of his getting her. Not even Herbert, he thought as he rolled his eyes at what Herbert had just said.
He had to find a way to get her to be his. This was not going to be a one night stand. He would not have it happening this time.
For now, he had to get ready for the day before he would have Herbert stressed.

At the board meeting that day, Hector made sure to profile Karl as he plotted on the best way to win Jasmine.
Karl was an egotistical jerk and Hector was going to enjoy flaunting her before him. It would do a lot to Karl's ego to see Jasmine with his boss.
And Hector made it his mission now. He had to do it. He would do it.
Get the girl. Destroy the ex's ego. The world is fine again!
