Chapter 61 - uneasy moment

The next day, both the alpha boys and idols gathered in the conference room, looking sharp and professional for their joint interview. The journalists from various entertainment outlets were already seated, cameras and recorders at the ready.

The moderator, a well-known celebrity interviewer, smiled warmly as the two groups took their seats. "Good morning, everyone! Welcome to today's special interview with the alpha boys and idols. We'll be discussing their music, their experiences, and what's next for these talented groups."

The questions began, and the members of both groups took turns answering, showcasing their charm, charisma, and passion for their craft. They laughed and joked, their chemistry and camaraderie evident to everyone in the room.

When asked about their collaborations, Jace grinned mischievously. "Let's just say we're exploring new sounds and styles. We're excited to share our music with the world."

Han added, "We're all about pushing boundaries and trying new things. It's been a blast working together."

The journalists asked about their individual interests and hobbies outside of music. Adriel from the alpha boys mentioned his love for art, while Adriel from the idols talked about his passion for cooking.

As the interview drew to a close, the moderator asked one final question: "What's next for the alpha boys and idols? Any exciting projects or tours on the horizon?"

Caleb smiled slyly. "Let's just say we're working on some surprises for our fans. Stay tuned!"

The room erupted into a flurry of camera clicks and excited chatter as the interview came to a close. The alpha boys and idols smiled and waved, looking forward to sharing their music and talents with the world.

After the interview

As the alpha boys and idols walked out of the building, Han wasn't paying attention to where he was going and bumped into a stranger. The stranger quickly reached out to catch Han, holding him steady as he stumbled backward.

For a moment, Han and the stranger locked eyes, their faces inches apart. Han's cheeks flushed slightly as he apologized, "I'm so sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going."

The stranger smiled warmly, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "It's okay, I'm fine. You're the one who should be careful."

Just as they were about to part ways, Taejoon suddenly appeared out of nowhere, his expression darkening as he pulled Han away from the stranger. "Han, what's going on here?" he demanded, his voice low and possessive.

Han looked at Taejoon, surprised by his sudden intervention. "Taejoon, it's okay, I just bumped into him. No big deal."

But Taejoon wasn't having it. He kept his arm wrapped around Han's shoulders, his eyes never leaving the stranger's face. "Let's go," he said curtly, steering Han away from the scene.

The stranger watched them go, a hint of amusement dancing in his eyes. "Well, I guess I'm not getting his number," he muttered to himself with a chuckle.

As they walked away, Han shot Taejoon a side-eye. "What was that about, anyway?"

Taejoon just shrugged, trying to play it cool. "Just looking out for you, that's all."

Han raised an eyebrow but said nothing more, a small smile playing on his lips.

Few minutes later

The alpha boys and idols arrived at the park, dressed in casual attire with masks and caps to keep a low profile. They didn't want to draw attention to themselves, just enjoy a relaxing day out.

As they strolled through the park, they couldn't help but feel a sense of freedom. No screaming fans, no paparazzi – just a normal day out with friends.

Caleb tossed a frisbee to Jace, who caught it with a grin. "Hey, you think you can beat me to that tree over there?" he challenged.

Caleb smirked. "Oh, it's on. Let's see who's got the speed."

The two of them took off, racing towards the tree as the others cheered them on. Han and Adriel from the alpha boys started a game of "keep away" with a stray frisbee, laughing and dodging each other's throws.

Meanwhile, Adriel from the idols and Ace sat on a bench, people-watching and cracking jokes. "Check out that guy's outfit," Adriel whispered, trying not to giggle. "Who wears neon green pants to the park?"

Ace chuckled, shaking his head. "Only in this city, my friend. Only in this city."

As the alpha boys and idols continued to enjoy their day, a young black kid with a big smile on his face walked up to them. He looked like he was around 10 years old, and his eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Hey, aren't you guys...?" he started to say, his voice trailing off as he took in their masks and caps.

The group exchanged nervous glances, hoping they hadn't been recognized. But the kid's face lit up with a huge grin.

"Wait, I know! You're the alpha boys and idols! I've seen you on TV and listened to your music!"

The group smiled, impressed that the kid had recognized them despite their disguise.

"Shh, keep it down, little dude," Caleb said with a chuckle. "We're trying to keep a low profile."

The kid nodded enthusiastically, still grinning from ear to ear. "I won't tell anyone, I promise! Can I get a selfie with you guys?"

The alpha boys and idols exchanged looks, then shrugged and smiled for the camera as the kid snapped a quick photo. "Thanks, guys! You're my favorite group!"

As the kid walked away, beaming with excitement, the group laughed and shook their heads. "Guess we can't hide forever," Hudson said with a grin.

The alpha boys and idols decided to grab some food at a nearby café after their impromptu photo shoot. As they walked in, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods filled the air, making their stomachs growl with hunger.

They took a table in the corner, trying to keep a low profile as they perused the menu. But it wasn't long before they were recognized, and soon, whispers and glances were being exchanged among the other patrons.

Just as they were about to order, the door swung open, and a group of fans burst in, eyes scanning the room for a glimpse of their favorite idols. The alpha boys and idols exchanged a knowing look, hoping to avoid a scene.

But it was too late. The fans spotted them and quickly began to squeal and take photos. The group's attempt at a quiet meal was rapidly turning into a chaotic scene...

The alpha boys and idols smiled and waved politely, but it was clear they were trying to keep the interaction brief. Security wasn't far behind, discreetly ushering the fans out and ensuring the group could enjoy their meal in peace.

As they finally began to relax, Han noticed the same stranger from earlier, the one Taejoon had pulled him away from, sitting at a table nearby, sipping a coffee and watching them with interest.

Their eyes met, and for a moment, they just stared. Han just smiled politely to him

The group's food arrived, and they dug in, savoring the flavors and textures. But Han couldn't shake off the feeling that the stranger was still watching him...

As they're enjoying their meal, the stranger gets up from his table and walks over to theirs. Han notices him approaching and feels a bit confused. The stranger, dressed in a simple yet stylish outfit, stops beside their table and looks at Han.

"Mind if I sit here?" he asks Han directly, his voice calm and smooth. "I promise I won't disturb you."

Han's eyes meet the stranger's, and for a moment, they just stare at each other. The rest of the group looks up, curious about the interaction.

Taejoon instinctively shifts closer to Han, his expression guarded. "We're kind of...having a private conversation," he says, trying to subtly hint that the stranger isn't welcome.

But the stranger's gaze remains fixed on Han, awaiting his response. Han's cheeks flush slightly as he hesitates, then shakes his head. "It's okay, I don't mind," he says softly.

The stranger smiles and takes a seat next to Han, his arm brushing against Han's as he sits down. Han feels a spark of electricity at the touch, but tries to play it cool.

"Thanks," the stranger says, looking at Han with a hint of amusement in his eyes. "I'm Min-soo."

Oh, I'm han nice meeting you..han said

As Min-soo sits down, the conversation becomes more relaxed, and the group learns that he's a freelance writer, working on a novel. Min-soo's easygoing nature puts everyone at ease, and soon they're all chatting about music, books, and life.

Han finds himself drawn to Min-soo's calm and introspective vibe, and they discover a shared love for literature. Their conversation flows effortlessly, and Han feels like he's been talking to Min-soo for hours, not just minutes.

Taejoon, however, remains observant, noticing the way Han's face lights up when he talks to Min-soo. He can't help but feel a pang of...something. Jealousy? Possessiveness? He's not sure.

As the afternoon wears on, Min-soo glances at his watch and apologizes, saying he has to leave for an appointment. Han walks him out, and they exchange numbers, promising to meet up again soon.

As they say their goodbyes, Min-soo leans in and whispers, "I'd love to discuss more about literature with you, Han. Maybe over coffee sometime?"

Taejoon swiftly cuts in, his voice firm but polite. "Han's schedule is pretty tight right now. He's not really available for meetups."

Min-soo's gaze flicks to Taejoon, his expression neutral. "No worries, I understand. Han, it was great meeting you."

Han feels a bit caught in the middle, unsure how to respond. "Yeah, same to you, Min-soo. Nice meeting you."

Min-soo nods and walks off, leaving
