The next day
Taejoon and Han both stepped out of the Star Entertainment building, stretching their arms and taking deep breaths of fresh morning air. They had both decided to start the day with a jog to clear their heads before the chaos of rehearsals and meetings began.
As they turned the corner, their eyes fixed on the path ahead, they didn't notice each other approaching from opposite directions. Before they could react, they collided, Taejoon's momentum sending him tumbling forward.
For a moment, Han's face turned bright red, and he looked like he'd been caught in a compromising position. Taejoon, on the other hand, was amused by Han's reaction. He gazed down at Han, a mischievous glint in his eye.
Han tried to push Taejoon away, his hands pressing against Taejoon's chest. But Taejoon didn't budge, enjoying the awkwardness of the situation. "Why are you acting like a guy never got on top of him before?" Taejoon teased, his voice laced with amusement.
Han's face grew even redder, and he said softly . "Shut up and get off me!" he hissed, his eyes flashing with embarrassment.
Taejoon chuckled, the sound low and husky. He slowly got off Han, his movements deliberate. As he stood up, he offered Han a hand up, a smirk still playing on his lips. "Need some help, Han?"
Han ignored Taejoon's hand and stood up on his own, brushing off his clothes. "I'm fine," he muttered, his face still flushed. "Just watch where you're going next time."
As they stood up, Taejoon's eyes widened in surprise, and he couldn't help but stare at Han's outfit. Han was wearing a pair of short jean shorts that barely reached his thighs, and a fitted white top that showed off his toned physique.
Taejoon's gaze lingered on Han's legs, and he felt a sudden jolt of amusement. "You... shouldn't wear those just for jogging," Taejoon said, trying to stifle a grin.
Han looked down at his outfit, confused. "What's wrong with what I'm wearing?" he asked, his brow furrowed.
Taejoon shook his head, still chuckling. "Nothing's wrong with it... it's just that... you're going to get frostbite with those shorts," Taejoon teased, his eyes sparkling with mirth.
Han's face turned bright red as he realized what Taejoon was getting at. "Shut up, it's warm out!" Han protested, trying to defend his fashion choice.
Taejoon chuckled, his eyes never leaving Han's face. "Warm? You're going to get pneumonia in those shorts. You look like you're about to audition for a role in a K-drama."
Han's embarrassment turned to annoyance, and he playfully pushed Taejoon. "Hey, I'll have you know, these shorts are very fashionable," Han said, trying to maintain his dignity.
Taejoon laughed, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Fashionable? You're a trendsetter, Han. I'm just worried you'll start a new jogging trend and everyone will be wearing shorts this short to jog."
Han rolled his eyes good-naturedly. "You're just jealous because you can't pull off this look," Han teased, striking a pose.
Taejoon grinned, his eyes locked on Han's face. "I think I'll stick to my jogging pants, thanks. But hey, you're definitely... eye-catching," Taejoon said, his voice laced with amusement.
Han's face turned bright red again, and he looked away, trying to hide his smile. "Let's just go jog, okay?" he muttered, already walking away.
Taejoon chuckled and followed after him, enjoying the banter between them. As they jogged side by side, Taejoon couldn't help but steal glances at Han's shorts, still finding the whole situation hilarious.
