As the golden sparks of the portal dissipated, Xiao Han stepped into a dim space.
This place was completely different from the outside World; the walls were covered in black veins resembling some kind of biological tissue, and the ground slightly writhed, as if stepping on the internal organs of some living creature.
The air was filled with a nauseating mixture of putrid and metallic smells.
Xiao Han's Super Senses detected a high concentration of virus particles.
Without hesitation, he immediately activated his Biofield for filtration.
A golden light flickered in Xiao Han's eyes, and his Biofield silently covered his entire body.
He slowly walked forward, his Super Vision penetrating layers of obstacles, locking onto a figure in the deepest part of the laboratory.
"Reed Richards."
His voice echoed in the empty laboratory.
Ahead, a tall, thin back slowly turned around.
Mister Fantastic, or rather, the former Reed Richards.
He had completely changed his appearance. His body was twisted and elongated, like a stretched-out corpse, his skin an abnormal gray-green, his eye sockets sunken, yet flickering with a strange light of rationality.

This virus was not an external infection; it activated a dormant primitive code within the organism's DNA.
Once awakened, it could not be reversed.
Forcing the removal of the virus was equivalent to killing the host.
Reed wrote on the last page in frantic handwriting.
"We are not infected, we have finally become what we were meant to be!"
Xiao Han silently closed the notes.
He could not save this World.
"Sir."
Jarvis said softly, "Detecting a large number of high-energy reactions approaching, it's the nearest super heroes."
Xiao Han looked up, his Super Vision penetrating layers of walls, seeing multiple zombie heroes pouring towards the Baxter Building from all directions.
They had sensed the destruction of the mother Lair, and now, they were enraged.

Xiao Han stood atop the burning Baxter Building, below him the completely incinerated virus mother Lair of Reed Richards.
