"Humph! You are here, and what did you do? Provoke me to death?" Old Sterling bellowed.
Lucian sighed softly. He really wanted to scoff at the rate at which the old man was throwing a tantrum, especially when it was painfully obvious that he himself was the one at fault.
But then that would be rude?
Did his grandfather truly believe he didn't understand the simple mechanics of fault-finding and the art of exonerating oneself from guilt?
Well, for the sake of Emily, he decided to pretend about whatever it is and go with the flow.
No doubt he might be hoping to hear from him, asking why he had made such an order, or maybe confront him to change his decision… but this time he really wants to shatter his expectations.
"Grandpa," Lucian said with a faint smirk, leaning back slightly. "I would prefer you go straight to the point… to the main purpose of why you called me over. I still have a lot of things to handle back at the company."
