Nass on the orders of Jace, traveled back to the Demonoid continent, with two of her subordinates, whom were humans, but she had them in disguises as it can easily blow their cover, cause humans were not only huge enemies of the demonoid, but they were a very rare sight among this new generation of demon.
Nass was back at her home nation, the Kingdom of Veraria, for the first time in close to four (4) years, and to her surprise it looked so different to what she remembered leaving all those years ago, it wasn't as advanced as the human continent was, but it was much more civilized than what she left behind.
The streets are much more lively, kids running around, no heavy security watching it's citizen like a hawk, seeing other demons from the other kingdoms moving around as they please, without getting instantly captured and locked up, they were also trading with one another, something that was a serious crime, and a demon can be executed for trading with a foreign demonoid.
Nass looked around in utter shock, not understanding what she was seeing, she exchanged looks with her two subordinates, whom just looked at her confused as what they were seeing was pretty normal to them…
"what in the world happened here?!" she exclaimed, then she moved to one of the shops opened in the area to ask about the state of the kingdom.
The shop owner was suspicious of Nass for a while, as being a demonoid but still lacking this basic knowledge, no matter the nation she is originally from, but Nass cooked up a very convincing excuse that made the suspicions fade away, and the shop owner was back in a cheerful mood.
The shop owner then went on to tell her about how the new demonoid king of the kingdom of Blac was able to successfully negotiate peace between the other kingdoms, and how it was very difficult at first, and the fighting was worse then it ever was in that time period, but the wise king of the Kingdom of Blac was able to come out victorious, not only against his own people, but also the demonoid from the other Kingdoms, including this one, and this rare and highly welcomed peace was the result of his efforts to bring them all together.
Of course Nass already knew the part about the civil war at the Kingdom of Blac as Pyon himself couldn't stop talking about it, but the rest of the Intel she received was news and a big one to her.
She thanked the shopkeeper and moved on, now she and her subordinates were looking for an inn to stay in for the night, and also to give them the chance to talk about what they discovered at the kingdom, and plan their next move accordingly.
It's been two days since Jericho and Erica got back to the kingdom of Righteous, the surprise of the contraption they traveled with shook everyone that saw it for the first time as expected, William was shocking on his words after seeing it, while Erica was mostly curious about it.
The next day, Jericho was making his way to the holy church of the seven faiths to use the Evlogia ore again in order to speak to the six gods, alone this time.
On getting there, he exchanged a few words with the receptionist Carol who was incredibly happy to see him after such a long time.
After a while, Father Leon came out himself to welcome Jericho, he then waved good bye to Carol, and followed closely behind father Leon.
Again he lead him to the hidden cave underneath the church where the ore is hidden, just as before, he entered the door that was separating it from the outside, and he was now alone with the ore in the room, he then commence to touch it and meditate, which in return the ore transported his consciousness to Ego Elysium where the six (6) gods resides.
Before Jericho, stood six divine looking beings, dawned in a heavenly glow and oozing aura and grace, he went on his knees as a sign of respect to the gods, they had huge smiles on their faces as they saw Jericho.
"it's been so long Jericho, you are looking really good" Bios said to Jericho with a smile on his face, as he was glad to see Jericho…
"you really took your sweet time to come see us didn't you" Nea Zoi added with a smirk…
"please forgive me my lords, It was not my intention to take this long in coming to see you again… please do forgive me" said Jericho while still bowing…
"pay no mind to Nea Zoi, Jericho, he is merely jesting, we know of the trials you were rapped up with back on earth… please you may raise, it's truly good to see you again" Desmon said as an attempt to ease the mind of Jericho….
Jericho then raised his head and finally gazed upon the divine faces of the six gods… "it's truly a blessing to see you all again my lords… I am here to inform you am now ready to make my way to the mist mountains to get the Luxton star as we previously talked about, and also I wanted to brief you on the current situation back on earth" Jericho spoke, the six gods nods as they gave him their full attention.
Jericho began to tell them of everything he had been through back on earth since the last time they spoke, about meeting and accepting Drako to his side, and the time it took the people of earth to master soul energy.
And then he went on to tell them about the invasion of Warmark by his brother Jace, where he also reunited with him for the first time in three and a half years…
"please forgive me my lords… I completely froze upon seeing what my brother had become for myself, and I almost got a friend killed cause of my weakness, am so ashamed to be standing before you mighty beings, I am not worthy to carry out your will anymore, or mine… please forgive me my lords" Jericho stated with a face and a demeanor bathed in regret and shame…
"Jericho… you are not weak my boy… we weren't really expecting you to instantly go against your brother, it's no surprise to us that you froze, he is your only family after all, if you reacted differently it might have made us think we made a huge mistake choosing you… you are not weak… you are kind, and that is your greatest strength" Desmos dismissed Jericho's worries instantly with the other gods nodding in agreement…
"Jericho, we choose you because of who you are, do not belittle yourself" Meta added…
"thank you all my lords, I promise not to disappoint you… (he smiled)… that was all that happened, now my next target is to go get the Luxton star" Jericho concluded feeling much better than he previously did…
"my lords, I have a few questions, which would be okay if you deem me not yet ready to know, but I just have to ask… (the gods asked him to go on)… there was a certain power I recently just acquired, it's a relationship with something or things called The Divine Avatars of Nature… please I wanted to know more about them, and not just the basic stuff about them, like do they have a mind of their own, or are they just pure energy, cause sometime they make me feel like they have a mind of their own, with their actions and expressions… please if it's not too much, I would like to know more about them" Jericho requested with a honest bow, the other gods exchange looks, then smiled…
"of course Jericho, you will get your answers, but not just that, just as we told you at our last visit, now that we know where your heart truly lies, we believe you are ready for the truth about the world, and the fallen god known as Pluto" Nass stated with a serious look on her face.
"Jericho, we have already explained the hierarchy of the gods to you, and the ones that sit above us all… the supreme gods… (he nods)… well there is a reason there are three races on earth, there are three supreme gods that wanted beings made in their image… we have the god of the underworld, whom is the god of the Demonoids… the god of humans and the universe,the All Father… and lastly we have the god of the Ancients, but you know them as the Drakziels" Nous narrated…
"Jericho, this version of earth you are currently on isn't the original earth (Jericho had a shocking look on his face)… let me rephrase that, your earth is authentic, but it isn't the first of it's kind in this particular universe" Zoe made herself clear and Jericho sighed with relief as he finally understood her, but then the realization popped in his head…
"{what did she mean by 'isn't the first of it's kind'}"…..
"long ago this universe belonged to the supreme god of the Ancients, the middle brother of the supreme gods, it was a very advanced world, filled with wonders and grandeur, occupied by Ancients, Demonoids and Humans alike, all leaving together in peace and no discrimination, improving their world together, they were left in the care of the god of the Ancients or Drakziels as you know them, and his subordinates…. but it all changed when the god of the Ancients started getting greedy and jealous of his older brother, the All Father, for the All Father was the god of all gods, the king of kings, he ruled everything, including the territory of the Ancients god" Zoe concluded, setting it up for another god to continue…
"so he began a devastating crusade to take control of everything and everyone, to take the place of his brother, the All Father… he then created some very dangerous beings, down right catastrophic beings, that only knows darkness… they slowing started terrorizing the earth he was left in charge of, your earth but you know, the previous version of it… those abomination destroyed everything, and almost drove all living things in that world to extinction, Humans, Demonoids and the Drakziels, no race was spared… and then using those abominations, he waged war on the heavens, the underworld and Ego Elysium, he wanted to destroy everything, then rule it as it's one true god" Nea Zoi continued where Zoe stopped…
"those abominable beings were called Dragon gods, and they are much more powerful than any Greater dragon, they are the children of the god of the Ancients, and they are pure evil… we joined forces with the underworld to take down those beings and their father, it was a devastating war, a lot of planets and universes were destroyed, a lot of demons and gods were lost, and earth, was hanging by a thread, it was looking like all hope was lost, as the power of those Dragon gods were unnatural, with their father leading them… but thankfully the All Father got involved personally, and he single handed won us the war, he created an entirely new dimension and sealed his brother, and also sealed the Dragon gods that were alive in a different universe no one knows about, finally bringing peace to the multiverse" Bio explained, Jericho stood in horror taking all this information in…
"but even with that, a lot of damage was already done, we lost a lot of universes, a lot of worlds, and a lot of Demons and Gods that fought for the multiverse… that war went on to be known as the Supreme War of the gods… and this brings us the Pluto part, cause he also lost someone so important to him, he saw that being as his own god, not the All Father… his father, the previous god of wealth" Meta stated with a sad sigh…
"even before his father's death, Pluto wasn't really the kindest god around, and he also wasn't the meanest too, he was just not interested in getting involved with anything his father wasn't involved with, so losing him, changed him completely, as he was always getting in trouble with the All Father, he has gotten punished countless times, but still he never stopped, no matter what the punishment might be… thinking about it now, I guess it was our faults for not noticing how far gone he was sooner (chuckled with regrets, then sighed)… Pluto's plan is to create his own Dragon gods… (a look of terror came to the face of Jericho, as he could have never imagined it will be something that serious)… he feels the gods are incompetent beings that only care about themselves, and he wants to change that by destroying all gods, including the All Father, and ruling as the one true god… am sure that is the part he and Jace are keeping from the rest of their subordinate" Nous concluded, with a serious stare.
"this is all so terrible, so he is planning on starting another supreme war?!… sigh… a-and my earth?… if the Ancient, Human and Demonoid people didn't completely go extinct, why was things this primitive when everything was so advanced back then, and also why did humans loose all knowledge of soul energy, and why are we this divided with the other races, when we use to live and work together??… and why did you say the current earth isn't the first of it's kind, when it didn't fully go extinct??" Jericho was just filled with a lot more questions, as he was so confused, but the gods were prepared to answer it all.
"Jericho, eons ago, we gods were free to roam the earth as we pleased, we could settle any kind of dispute and give the best advice to our children to set them on the right path, that was the main reason all races coexisting together actually worked out … but that all changed after the supreme war, it was because of the freedom we had that things got out of hand, as some gods took it to far with interfering with things on earth, so after the war, some rules were set in other to completely nullify the influence of the gods on earth, and separating it's responsibilities so it won't be too much on one god, hence why each race doesn't serve the same gods, and why not everything apply to all races… the All father withheld soul energy from human to make them take things slow, as they are most like him among all the races, and with a power like that they can be more dangerous than any Demonoid or Drakziel, as they have more knowledge and application skills than the other races… with the ancient survivors of all races, they remembered nothing about the war, the gods or soul energy, and the races were divided, as it was the will of the All Father" Bios concluded his long explanation…
"so, it was like the All Father push a restart button on earth, making everyone and everything start from the beginning?" Jericho asked in awe and shock of the power the All Father willed, the other gods nods…
"Jericho, do not disclose this part of our conversation with anyone, it's not something any human should know" Zoe requested, Jericho immediately agreed…
"and to answer your question about the Divine Avatars of Nature, I believe the answer is in their name (Jericho look confused)… as you know, we get all our divine energy from the All Father, that also goes for all Living things on earth in every universe, not just this one, so in other to more efficiently manage and balance the soul energy allowed in every world to make them function properly, the All Father created the Divine Avatars of Nature and the Divine Avatars of Chaos.… they control everything, the weather, the seasons, time, space, life, everything under the embrace of the All Father" Nous explained….
"and to answer your question, yes, they do have a mind of their own, not just anyone can control them, they pick who is worthy of controlling them, and not just one, all four Divine Avatars saw you as worthy, something even we didn't see coming at all (she smiled)… you are the first god class to have control over the Divine Avatars of Nature, all four of them no less… you really exceeded our expectations dear Jericho" Meta stated, with a proud look on her face…
"you are well and truly becoming a monster Jericho (laughs)… I feel double sorry for your enemies" Nea Zoi burst out with laughter…
'POW!!!'…. Meta hit him…
"Like you're one to talk you crazy lazy god" she snapped at Nea Zoi…
"OWWW!!!" Nea Zoi cried in pain, the others laughed…
"wow…. this was truly a lot to take in all at once… (they stared at Jericho in silence as he spoke)… I really needed to know this, I can not think of my next moves more efficiently now… thank you all… oh and lord Desmos?… (he answered)… about the ability you blessed me with, I think it is about to be activated… I sensed it when I was about to face off against my bro- I mean Jace… It was like I could feel the emotions of others, like I knew what they were thinking, not necessarily hear them word for word, it just felt like I can sense their desires, even if they try to hide it from me, and I think I can make it a reality in either a good way or a bad way with an illusion" …..
"I see… (smiles)… that is indeed a good sign, Jericho, now you will have to be really careful with it, do not use it unless you are absolutely sure you have total control over that ability, it is a very very complicated ability that can be very dangerous when mistakes are made, so please do not call upon it until you are totally sure you have full control, I will keep on helping you until you get the hang of it" Desmos concluded with his serious instructions, Jericho saw how serious Desmos was and was very attentive to his concerts…
"okay, my lords, I will be leaving now to carry out my next mission in the mist mountains as we previously discussed… it was truly very nice seeing you again, and I will see you soon" said Jericho as he prepares to leave…
"it was nice seeing you too Jericho, I hope the answers to you got to all your questions were acceptable?" Nous asked with a smile…
"yes my lady, I am happy with your explanations, but I do still have more questions, but that can wait for when I see you again, it's not anything serious or pending" Jericho responded with a smile of his own…
"excellent, we will always be here if you need guidance, it is our job as your gods" Bios responded…
"thank you all… am off now, see you all soon" he stated as his consciousness started to return back to his body on earth…
"good bye Jericho, and please, do be careful, and also believe in your abilities" Zoe screamed at Jericho as he disappeared back to earth…
"Desmos, are you alright?"... "yes, yes am alright, it's just, what Jericho described is a little different from my ability.. (smiles)… I would advice you all to brace yourselves for another Jericho surprise" Desmos concluded with a smile as the other gods looked on in confusion.
