As soon as Kaito landed on the ground , it started to turn into ice .
The frozen ground spread from his feet as it started to cover the entire field .
3-Star (Ice Magic) - Ice Field
The corrupted humans rushing towards him were frozen in ice with the inability to move . Kaito took out his sword . His eyes which weren't covered by blindfold started glowing blue as it released a bluish white hue . He slowly unsheathed his sword .
A single horizontal line was cut through the air . It was enough for the corrupted humans trapped in ice to be sliced in half from their waist . The other corrupted humans started to growl in rage as they rushed towards him . Kaito just spared a single glance at them before he raised his hand .
6-Star(Wind Magic) : Tempest
A huge tornado was formed taking in all the trees and the leaves fallen on the ground . The corrupted humans also started getting sucked . The three humans were also about to be sucked as Kaito using his extreme speed picked them up as his figure blurred .
His figure reappeared near Seina holding three people in both his arms . He kept them on the ground as he asked Seina to take care of them . They were neither unconscious nor seriously injured but they had some injuries . Kaito turned around towards the corrupted humans as his body started emitting lightning . The lightning swirled around him as it was slowly turning from white to purple .
His eyes were also covered with lightning as the amethyst glow in his eyes became prominent . He jumped from the place and landed on the center of the corrupted humans . As soon as he touched the ground , lightning spread throughout the place as it struck the corrupted humans .
Their bodies burnt and scortched . Their screams and smell of their violet blood covered the air . Kaito looked towards the other corrupted humans who were left . His cold eyes and emotionless face made the demons feel a chill run down their spine . His figure blurred as a sword covered in aura started chopping the corrupted humans like mere vegetables .
It took Kaito around 10 minutes , to complete the annhilation . Many notifications popped up .

Kaito stood in the center . His whole suit was covered in violet blood . His hair and face were also painted in violet . He swung his sword once in the air like an arc as the blood covering the sword got removed and splattered on the ground . He sheathed his sword as he looked towards the others .
His serious and cold face had a sudden warmth and smile . His figure blurred and he appeared in front of them which surprised them greatly . He raised a hand towards Kendo .
"You okay ?"
"Yeah" said Kendo as he grabbed Kaito's hand .
"Thank you , Kaito-kun" said Akane in a low voice
"It's alright"
"Kaito-kun ? How did you find our location ?"
"By that" said Kaito as he pointed his thumb in the sky
"Where ?"
"The satellites"
"You can control them ?" asked Seina
"No but I can hack them"
"You are terrifying" said all of them in unison
Kaito just nodded as he looked towards their bodies . The injuries weren't serious but the number were too much which covered their entire bodies . Some were enough to even leave scars . He asked Seina
"Did you give them the healing ?"
"I did"
"But they aren't healing , is that it ?"
"I guess"
"Kendo , do you feel pain ?"
"I don't . Rather , I feel weird"
"These aren't normal injuries . Wait a second"
Kaito entered the 'Potion Library' . He said
"System , give me the highest grade healing potion"

A bottle of bright green liquid landed on his hand . The label on it marked the name 'HF8 healing' .
Kaito couldn't help but leave a deep breath as he thought of his theory once again . He once more realised that his current strength is too weak and he had to grow stronger faster . He took out two more bottles .
He brought his consciousness back from the library as he took out the liquid . The others were surprised to see the potion . They can't remember any potion which has colour as bright as this . He handed each of the three to the three Awakeners .
"Drink it"
"What is this ?" asked Kendo
"Healing potion"
"Where did you find it ?"
"I'll answer you later"
Kendo quieted down . He knows that Kaito won't answer and so there is no use pressing even furthur . The three obediently drank the potions as they felt their bodies improving . Their injuries were healing at a rapid pace as their mana was also re-filling. Their aura core which was empty after the battle was storing the aura inside from the atmosphere as the three started to feel that their strength gradually returning .
They all headed towards the place where their car is parked . The mission was to exterminate 50 nightmare-level demons and 10 hell-level monsters but Kaito and his team collected 62 low grade hell-level demons , 45 medium grade hell-level demons and 26 high grade hell-level demons .
They not only completed the mission but also received information about the corrupted human organization . Kaito and Kendo decided that they would report this matter to the headmaster as they currently don't have any direct way to investigate it .

After a long journey of 3 hours did they finally reach the place where they parked their car before entering the forest . The corpses of demons were stored in their spatial bags and they didn't have anything to load . They simply loaded their bags and got into the car .
Kaito turned it on and started driving towards the Stellar City .
Inside the forest , where they parked their car moments ago . A dark skinned person who was hovering in air but hiding his presence by being invisible watched them drive away .
After they departed , he removed his invisibility and came out of his hiding .
"That kid , Kaito Sakura , is really interesting" muttered the demon
"I still can't believe that he almost discovered my presence despite being only an SS-Rank Awakener"
"He is interesting"
"His Majesty just ordered me to watch him but I guess a little game would be fun too"
"What do you think , Kaito Sakura ?" said the demon as he vanished into thin air .
This demon was none other than the 56th Demon King , Astra .

Kaito and the others returned to the city . The gates were opened as the guards saw the car . Their identity were verified before allowing entry . Even though they were one of the great sword families but they don't get frustated over giving their identity for checking . The four of them don't act rashly or put their pride before everything . They too know that the duty of guarding the whole city for 24 hours a day is extremely tiring .
They wanted to go to the Academy but they can't go with the Academy Elevator . Those elevators were just for people and not for any off-road car and so they went to the second entrance which opens at the garage . They entered with the car as the door of the elevator closed and within seconds , they reached the garage entrance .
The inside was filled with machines and vehicles similar to the one they had . The area was few floors high and each floor was like a engineering lab where countless machines , computers and AI are working . The workers are roaming throughout the area . Some people were repairing or modifying the cars . It's no less compared to a machinery base in any sci-fi movies .
One of the staff members came towards their team .
"Welcome back from your mission"
"Thank you" said everyone in unison except Kaito
"Did your car suffer any damages , Kaito-sama ?"
"It didn't but I would rather you check it for future uses"
"As you wish"
"Thank you"
They all left the garage and went to the rooms arranged for teams to gather after the missions . This was the room where the battle suit changes back into uniform and every person needs to come here after every mission to change their clothes .
Their battle suits disarmed as their normal uniforms were assembled . The machine also disinfects your body from any kind of harmful virus or bacteria or any kind of germ or impurities which may have been collected in the body during the mission . Kaito and Kendo who were now ready came out of the room and saw that the three ladies were in the hallway leading to the mission center of the Academy .
The battle suit changing room is different for men and women to maintain privacy between them and not to make each other uncomfortable due to the presence of an opposite sex in the same room .
They all started walking towards the mission hall . Kendo , Akane and Kaori were walking at front and behind them were Kaito and Seina . She had something to talk to Kaito and thus she insisted in this proposal . They agreed but Kaito felt a little confused .
Seina continued speaking to him through the communication device of the watch . These watches were mandatory to be worn by every second year students and above who have already started their mission from the mission centers in their academic year . These watches were a compulsory part of their uniform for the remaining years and later .
After the demon race descended and apocalypse began , the network towers were completely destroyed making mobile phones useless . Although , nowadays , mobiles are upgraded into more advanced devices which don't require towers but rather are connected by satellites in the space but communication between Awakeners are mostly carried out by the 'Awakener Watch' .
These watches are source for most of the important feature of Awakener . These watches show the person's current status , their position , used for communication and directing orders as well as these watches can be used for transactions and many more . In short , this watch and perform everything a mobile in our generation can do but in a more higher and advanced level .
Seina was not only explaining but also displaying various details from the maps . Kaito didn't speak as he carefully listened to her . He knows that she is not only a good person but her talents and intelligence are almost par with his and his sisters . She can perform calculations , provide theories and make stragies as fast as Kaito .
She was not only busy explaining but she also came closer and closer to him as time passed . He who was aware of her behaviour smiled at her . Although , Kaito doesn't accept the fact but he loves Seina very much . He had always protected both Seina and Akari in the same manner but sometimes , he becomes over protective towards Seina . This behaviour was the reason why the both families decided to arrange a marriage between Kaito and Seina but the rest is known .
They all reached the mission hall as they went to the reception desks . The person on the reception was a powerful A-Rank Awakener but her personality was professional and honest . She respected the sword families and their heirs very much almost to the level of making them her god .
She saw those people to enter the hall as her breathing stiffened .
Kendo was the first and the others were behind him . Seina was secretly holding Kaito's right hand but no one knew this fact . They all reported the completion of the mission and it was the time for dropping the items they collected .
The four of them except Kaito dropped their items from their inventory . The whole hall went silent when they saw this . There were not only nightmare level monsters but hell level too and the numbers were too many . The receptionist who was in shock quickly accepted the items and reassured them that the payment would be received by them after the items are sold .
Kaito refrained from opening his inventory because his alone items were more than all of their combined . He simply went ahead and asked the whereabouts about the headmaster . She politely replied that the headmaster was in his office . The thanked her and started walking towards the headmaster's office .
