Chapter 1 - Jesus's Passion

Meditation 1 - My Last Supper.

Jesus and his disciples ate the paschal lamb in the supper room because other groups occupied other rooms and thus filled the vacant rooms with their presence. In addition, the lambs they sank their teeth into were immolated at the temple; however, one person did not know of this circumstance.

The reason for being ignorant of such common knowledge was that the person was busy planning [Something] and had only returned when the meal was set.

What was that [Something]?

And, who was that person who wasn't aware of the lamb's past during the most important time of the year?

???: "With desire I have desired to eat this pasch with you, before I suffer."

Such were the words the man related onto his followers. Although mysterious words were spoken, his disciples only showed meagre reactions instead of an outright denial that he should suffer, let alone ???

???: "For I say to all of you, I shall not eat of it, until it is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God."

Sitting on the oval-shaped table were all types of sustenance—green vegetables, plates of small bitter herbs to season some type of meat, round loaves, and a wine bottle with a chalice right next to it. Alongside this, there was the spectacle of the festival—the paschal lamb.

Noticing everything being in order, he prayed, starting with: "My eternal Father and infinite God"

???: "My eternal Father and infinite God, your divine and eternal will resolved to create this my human nature in order that I may be the Head of all those that are predestined for your glory and happiness and who are to attain their true blessedness by availing themselves of my works. For this purpose, and in order to redeem them from the fall of Adam, I have lived with them thirty-three years. Now, my Lord and Father, the opportune and acceptable hour for fulfilling thy eternal will has arrived, the greatness of your holy name is about to be revealed to men and your incomprehensible Divinity, through holy faith, is to be made known and exalted among all nations. It is time that the seven sealed book be opened just as you have commissioned Me to do, and that the figures of old come to a happy solution.. The ancient sacrifices of animals, which prefigured the one I am now voluntarily to make of Myself for the children of Adam, for the members of my mystical body, for the sheep of your flock, must now come to an end, and I urgently beseech you in this hour to look down with an eye of mercy. If in the past your anger has been placated by these ancient figures and sacrifices which I am now about to abrogate, let it now, my Father, be entirely extinguished, since I am ready to offer Myself in voluntary sacrifice to die for men on the Cross and give Myself as a holocaust of my love. Therefore, Lord, let the rigor of your justice be relaxed and look upon the human race with eyes of mercy. Let Us institute a new law for men, by which they may throw down the bars of their disobedience and open for themselves the gates of heaven. Let them now find a free road and open portals for entering with Me upon the vision of your Divinity, as many of them will follow my footsteps and obey my law."

Concluding his prayer, the servant laid the knife for cutting the lamb before Jesus Christ. Then, subsequently, placed a cup of wine before him, and filled six other cups each of one standing between two Apostles. One for Jesus who drank his own and John who sat at Jesus's right hand, and those who followed were James the Greater, James the Less, and Bartholomew and John, Thomas and Judas, each duo having a cup of wine to share. On the left of Jesus sat Peter and Andrew, Thaddaeus and Simon the Zealot and finally Matthew and Phillip, each duo having a cup of wine of their own.

Then Jesus blessed the wine and drank, shared it with John, and indicated it is okay for his Apostles to do likewise. After this action reached its finale, Jesus reached for the knife that had the sole purpose of cutting the lamb, then, with careful precision and accuracy did Jesus cut the Lamb. Each of the Apostles presented their bread on their plates and received their equal share.

Each Apostle immediately sank their teeth into the Lamb, eating in haste as if time were catching them, separating the meat from the bone by the aid of their ivory knives. The bones were afterwards burnt according to the Law of Moses.

However, this was not the only thing they completely devoured; they also endeavoured to brutalise the herbs by dipping it into the sauce and eating hastily.

Another cup of wine was bought by the servant, and something special commenced. And starting with a prayer, Jesus Christ said: "My Father and eternal God, I confess, praise and exalt your most infinite essence and incomprehensible Deity, in which I am one with you and the Holy Spirit,

Jesus: "By the justification of these Sacraments, men shall become fit to share in the highest token of my love in the exile of this their mortal life; namely, to receive Me sacramentally under the species of bread and wine in an ineffable manner. Under the species of bread I shall leave my body, and under the species of wine, my blood. In each one of them, I shall be present really and truly, and I institute this mysterious sacrament of the Eucharist as a heavenly nourishment proportioned to their condition as wondering men; for their sake, I shall work these miracles and remain with them until the end of the coming ages. For the strengthening and defence of those who approach the end of their lives, I moreover appoint the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, which shall at the same time be a certain pledge of the bodily resurrection of those anointed. In order that all may contribute proportionately to the sanctification of the members of the mystical body of the Church, in which by the most harmonious and orderly cooperation all must have their proper position, I Institute the sacrament of Ordination to distinguish and mark some of its members by a special degree of holiness and place them above the other faithful as fit ministers of the Sacraments and as my chosen priests. Although they derive all their powers from Me, I nevertheless wish that it should flow from Me through one of their number, who shall be my Vicar and the Chief, representing my Person and act as my high priest. Into his keeping I deposit the keys of heaven, and him all upon earth shall obey. For the further perfection of my Church, I also establish the last of the Sacraments, Matrimony, to sanctify the natural union of man and wife for the propagation of the human race. Therefore, shall all the grades of my Church be enriched and adorned by my infinite merits. This, eternal Father, is my last will, whereby I make all the mortals inheritors of my merits in the great storehouse of grace, my new Church."

Thus, the eternal Father graciously received this prayer of the Redeemer and sent innumerable hosts of His angelic courtiers to assist at the wonderful work which the God-Man was performing.

Each disciple, amazed by the gift - no, Sacrament humbled themselves, each according to their disposition.

For John, he postrated

For Simon Peter, he prostrated

For James the Greater, he postrated,

For James the Lesser, he knelt with his hands covering his face, for he thought himself to be unworthy,

For Andrew, he knelt with his arms in a cross shape

For Matthew, he knelt and had his hand on his breast, striking it

For Philip, he knelt with both of his palms together near his breast,

For Thaddaeus, he knelt with both arms in the air

For Thomas, he merely knelt with his palms together near his knees

For Simon the Zealot, he completely sank, near prostration, thought calling it so was incorrect,

For Bartholomew, he knelt with his palm on his breast

For John, he knelt with both palms on his breast

And finally, for Judas, he stood, and with great mortification, palmed his hands together and lifted them near his breast.

Thus was the prayer spoken by Jesus, with an expression of serenity and recollection no man could imitate and thus was the countenance of his disciples.

However, there was another who was more humble than the disciples, including the ones who humbly prostrated themselves.

—-------------------------------------------------

And in fact, she almost rivalled the serenity and recollection of the man who said the prayer, though she was a million years, no infinitely late, to challenge His placid spirit.

???: "----------"

From outward apparel, she did not retain any appealing factors. She blended in with her crowd and caused no neck breakers. However, her spirit, her soul, was much more charming and beautiful than those around her, and this elevated her beyond all men who came before her and those who came after her.

With a placid and calm spirit, she prostrated herself interiorly and was shown a great light as to what this Sacrament was, a greater light that could even rival cherubims, no, far better, a greater light. She understood it far more brilliantly, she comprehended it far more intelligently, and of course, loved it far more excellently.

Thus was the countenance of the Blessed Virgin: Mary.

Though not present alongside Jesus and his Apostles, she was in the lower room of the house where they celebrated the pasch. And beside her was - Mary Magdalene whom converted sincerely and repented of all her sins, Peter's Mother Law [Lucia], whom was healed at the request of Simon Peter and Andrew, Daughter of Jairus [Charlotte] and Wife of Jairus [Scarlett] who both were grateful to Jesus for all he had done to them, Mary of Clopas, Joanna Chusa, Mary of Solme, who all, were close companions of Mary.

Mary of Clopas: "Maira, please talk to us."

Were the words that came out of Mary of Clopas, urging Mary to talk to them. Considering Mary was silently recollected, and instead of joining in the conversation like everyone else who sat at a similar oval-shaped table, she obviously drew unwanted attention to herself.

Mary of Clopas had grabbed her veil and slightly pushed it upwards, showing the countenance of her beautiful face.

With utmost sweetness and self-control, she replied with: "Mhm"

Mary: "Sorry, what were you saying?"

Behaving distracted and remaining humble was the usual ritual of Mary. She never made anyone feel inferior, lesser, or irrelevant regarding her actions.

Mary Magalende: "Charlotte, asked why you were so silent. She also mentioned that you looked like you were in a different room."

With hands together and a sweet smile, bowing her head apologetically, Mary responded:

Mary: "Sorry, sorry, won't happen again, promiseee"

Denying them a proper explanation, she made a promise to the group, namely, Mary Magalende, Mary of Clopas, Charlotte, Scarlett, Joanna and Susanna and Lucia ,that this situation will not occur again.

At that moment, in those sacred moments, she instantly began to feel a passionate, passionate, almost unbearable sense of pain.

It has been roughly thirty-three years since that prophecy was made, though she could never forget.

???: "A sword shall pierce your heart, and on that day, your son, your only son, will be crucified."

Were the words spoken by Simeon, and they ensured to constantly rang in her head.

Following those words spoken by Simeon were the unbearable sense of pain that would pierce her heart and the thought of her innocent, guiltless, blameless Son nailed to a tree.

However, a promise is a promise, one that must be kept with utmost rigour. Thus, that's why her facial expressions remained calm and placid, tranquil and almost apathetic.

Mary looked downwards and stroked her palms softly; she reminded herself of the day that was to come.

Because of this fierce pain Mary felt deep within her heart, indescribable to those around her, she knows that time is coming, and it is only a matter of time until he dies.

She knows that with certitude.

—-------------------------------------------

Jesus: "This is my Body"

Bartholomew: "Amen"

And with receiving it, the glorious Sacrament, he humbled himself profoundly. This bread was no ordinary bread, but the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of the man in front of him. How this could be, he did not know; how it occurred it was unbeknownst to him.

Though with faith you can believe in the things not seen, thus, with this gift of faith, he believed. And behind him was Judas.

Up until this point, all the disciples received the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord with faith, hope, love, gratitude and humility. All he had to do was imitate them exteriorly.

It was simple, just kneel and receive and utter the words "Amen", even a child could do that. So why? Why was there such hatred and incorrigibility found within him?

???: "Of courseeee you don't realllllyyy, believe that, that thing is HiM right?"

???: "It would be utterly stupid to believe in something so childish, so immature, so unripe, so naive, so ridiculous."

Judas: "Yes, I agree, it is so childish, so immature, so unripe, so naive, so ridiculous."

These were the voices that were constantly having one-sided discussions with Judas Iscariot, a detestable man. They enticed him, they tempted him, they tested him and eventually they were going to accuse him.

The Demonic Spirit representing Greed was Pleonexia, and his accomplice, his leader in fact, was Satan. Both fallen angels enticed the corrupt, vile, worthless heart of Judas Iscariot, who was to ???? innocent blood.

Both Pleonexia and Satan had entered the heart of Judas a long time ago, when Jesus had first declared that to have eternal life, you must eat the flesh of him and drink his blood. At that moment, in that moment, Judas had his heart swayed by the fallen angels and was completely under their control.

Pleonexia: "Yes, it is asss you sayyyyy, it is, it really isss childish, immature, unripe, naive, ridiculous.

Satan: "Of course, our Judas is smart, intelligent, decisive, something so false can easily be distinguished from the truth."

Both of them, the fallen angels, made Judas a leader, a conqueror, a truth bringer. They said all sorts of malicious words, which utterly blinded him and led him down the broad path.

Jesus: "This is my Body"

Thus, approaching with imitative and false humility, he stood, cupped his hands together and said with great mortification: "Amen"

He chewed, ate and swallowed, but with unbelief. Thus were the actions of Judas Iscariot.

What could be done for him now? Surely he is far, long, long gone. And if he has gone so far, so distant, it would be a miracle to save this man. Truly, it would've been better if he had not been born.

Judas: "Thank you, friend."

After saying this, Judas got up and went back to his seat, where all the other Apostles were sitting, reflecting. Perhaps they were reflecting on God's love for them and that this man would save them.

Pathetic, if he could truly save us, he would've done it long, long ago. Caring for his "flock" and working with his "Father". This almost made him laugh, but it certainly made him smirk. How could they believe in something so stupid?

Finally reaching his seat and sitting down, he also closed his eyes. The joining of his eyelids did not come from the fact that he wanted to reflect on his sins, or God's love for him, as the others did, but rather from the feeling of ostracisation; he simply did not want to be the only one with his eyes open.

Pleonexia: "Isn't it a good thing that you stole that money? Otherwiseeee, you'll be a homeless beggar sitting on the streets"

With a short snort, Judas responded: "Yeah"

Judas: "That would've been troublesome for me, without my wits and foreknowledge, things could've been pretty bad for my future."

He spoke to himself, thought to himself, and cared only about himself. The Fallen Angels spoke to him, and he responded to himself. Though he could hear them, he never shared a meaningful conversation with them. He simply loved the attention he was receiving and savoured it.

After a while had passed, Jesus sat down in the centre of the oval-shaped table and, with a facial expression contrary to the one he had earlier, the one where he was utterly serene, said: "Truly I tell you"

Jesus: "Someone here will betray me"

Shock arose within the room, and silence bewitched it. And with a sullen expression looking downwards at the table, he continued by saying: "This will"

Jesus: "Be My Last Supper".
