Chapter 14 - MULTIVERSE PD PART 14

Episode 14 — Galactic Purge

The Council's decision spread like wildfire across the stars: Purge Protocol.

Every planet Shin touched was marked for erasure. No trials. No arrests. No survivors. Entire worlds would be burned just to keep his infection from spreading.

And their first target was Fangspire.

The Sky Burns

It began with silence.

Kairo Shin sat on the roof of Fangspire's tallest tower, cigarette glowing in the smog, his empire of broken gangsters and ex-cops buzzing below him. His intelligence at level 22 hummed like a second heartbeat. He already knew something was wrong.

Then the sky split.

Council warships blotted out the stars, their cannons glowing red-hot. Sirens wailed across the city as civilians screamed.

Kairo smirked. "Well, shit. Guess the neighbors brought fireworks."

The first salvo fell. Plasma storms ripped through Fangspire's streets, melting towers into slag. People vaporized mid-scream. Whole blocks vanished in fire.

The Purge Order

In the Council's warship, the High Councilor gave the order, face cold.

"No prisoners. No survivors. Burn the infection at the root."

Officers hesitated. "Sir… millions live there—"

The Councilor's fist slammed the console. "Millions are already dead. Shin makes corpses out of everyone he touches. Do it."

The Fight for Fangspire

Back in the burning city, chaos erupted. Gangs under Shin's banner panicked, running through fire. Civilians screamed, trampling each other in ash.

Kairo stood in the plaza, calm in the inferno. Tentacles writhed from his arms, slapping falling debris aside.

His recruits stumbled toward him, coughing. "Boss—the sky—what the fuck do we do?!"

Kairo lit another cigarette off the flames. "Same thing we always do. Kill everyone in our way."

The Bloodbath

Dropships screamed down, vomiting squads of purge troopers in black armor. They moved like machines, mowing down civilians and soldiers alike.

Kairo smirked, stepping through the smoke. "Cute costumes. Shame you'll bleed the same."

Tentacles exploded outward. Troopers screamed as they were impaled, ripped apart, slammed into burning walls. Plasma fire sizzled through his chest; he laughed, healing instantly as he ripped a soldier's spine out.

A terrified recruit cried, "Boss—they're everywhere!"

Kairo smirked. "Good. Saves me the walk."

Explicit Comedy in Carnage

One trooper tried to flank him, aiming a rocket launcher. Kairo grabbed a half-melted corpse, stuffed it down the launcher, and smirked.

"Here's a meat delivery."

The trooper screamed as the rocket misfired, splattering him across the plaza in gore.

Another begged mid-fight. "Please—we're just following orders!"

Kairo blew smoke in his face. "So am I." Then split him in half.

The Turning Point

The purge wasn't just soldiers. It was annihilation.

Warships rained fire until half the city was molten glass. Tens of thousands died in hours. The Council didn't care about casualties. Fangspire wasn't a battlefield anymore. It was a warning.

But warnings don't work on Shin.

Kairo stood atop a burning tower, tentacles shielding him as the city crumbled. His intelligence sharpened again as the battlefield unfolded like a puzzle he'd already solved.

He knew where the ships were weak. He knew where the survivors would run. He knew how to turn a massacre into recruitment.

He grinned through blood and smoke. "Thanks, Council. You just did my PR for me."

The Survivors' Choice

By dawn, Fangspire was ashes. The Council's ships pulled away, leaving nothing but smoldering ruins. Millions dead. Streets glowing with plasma burns.

But survivors still crawled out of the wreckage — scarred, angry, broken. And they all looked at the same figure in the rubble: Shin.

The immortal man, cigarette glowing, drenched in blood but unbowed.

One survivor whispered, "He lived through the purge…"

Another shouted, "He's stronger than the Council!"

Crowds of survivors fell to their knees, chanting his name.

Kairo smirked, calm. "Congratulations, assholes. You just joined the empire."

The Council's Panic

Reports flooded the chamber. Fangspire: burned. Population: slaughtered. Shin: alive. Stronger. Worshipped.

The High Councilor slammed the table, veins bulging. "He turns our purges into recruitment drives! The more we burn, the more he grows!"

One commissioner whispered in fear: "He's not a man anymore. He's a movement."

The Anti-Hero's War

That night, Kairo stood on the ruins of Fangspire, smoke curling against the stars. His intelligence buzzed sharper than ever, seeing the Council's desperation like cracks in glass.

They thought fear would erase him. Instead, they made him a legend.

And legends don't die.
