Episode 11 — The Monster They Made
The Multiverse Council chamber reeked of fear. Half the brass were dead, the rest trembling. Reports of Shin's slaughter spread across galaxies like wildfire. Cartels whispered his name like a curse. Hunters refused contracts. Even the Black Ops Executioners — their unstoppable shadows — were wiped out.
"We can't stop him," one commissioner spat, slamming the table. "He's unkillable. He's… inevitable."
Another leaned forward, eyes hollow. "Then we stop pretending he's human. We built weapons for threats beyond mortality. Time to use them."
The room fell silent. Everyone knew the project he meant. Everyone swore it would never see daylight.
Project Revenant.

The Release
Deep in the Council's labs, under layers of steel and secrecy, cages lined with chains rattled. Inside writhed a shape not meant for flesh — once human, now nothing but teeth, claws, and steel grafted into bone. Its skin dripped liquid shadow. Its veins pulsed with plasma.
It had no name. Only code: Revenant-01.
It was designed for one purpose.
Counter Kairo Shin.
⸻
Nexus Streets
Kairo walked calm through the ruins of Nexus, cigarette glowing. His new empire was forming: terrified gangs and ex-cops feeding him intel, running drugs and guns under his name.
But tonight, the air felt different. Heavy.
He muttered under his breath, smirking. "They finally grew a brain. Or lost one."
The street went silent.
Then it hit.
First Clash
The Revenant dropped from the skyline like a meteor. The ground cracked, buildings shook. It stood taller than a man, dripping black steel from its claws. Its eyes glowed molten orange. Its mouth stretched open, too wide, lined with jagged metal fangs.
It roared, the sound like tearing steel.
Kairo smirked, lighting another cigarette. "Ugly as fuck. You boys really scraped the barrel this time."
The Revenant lunged.
Tentacles shot out from Kairo's arms, slashing, stabbing. But the Revenant caught them mid-strike, its own claws warping, shifting, morphing into steel whips that lashed back.
Kairo's eyes narrowed. "Copycat, huh?"
The Revenant tore one of his tentacles clean off. Black liquid sprayed, sizzling against the pavement. For the first time in years, Kairo actually staggered.
He chuckled, blood dripping from his lips. "Okay. That's new."

The Gore Ballet
The fight turned savage.
Tentacle vs. tentacle. Claw vs. whip. Steel and flesh tore across the street, buildings collapsing around them.
Kairo sliced the Revenant's arm off — it grew another. The Revenant skewered through his chest — Kairo laughed, pulling it deeper, healing as he ripped its skull open.
Blood sprayed. Sparks flew. Screams echoed from civilians hiding in the rubble.
The Revenant shrieked, its body splitting open. A swarm of razor-tipped tendrils burst out, hundreds lashing across the street.
Kairo smirked, calm even as they ripped into his skin. "Tentacle measuring contest? Cute."
His own erupted, meeting the storm. The street vanished in a hurricane of steel and blood.
Explicit Comedy
In the middle of the carnage, one terrified gangster — one of Kairo's new recruits — peeked out from a broken shop. "Boss, you good?!"
A tendril shot past, ripping the gangster's head clean off before Kairo even answered.
Kairo sighed, exhaling smoke. "Guess that's a no."
⸻
The Turning Point
The Revenant slammed him into the ground, claws tearing into his ribs. For the first time, Kairo felt pain that didn't instantly vanish. His black veins pulsed harder, fighting the infection inside Revenant's claws.
"Ahhh," Kairo muttered, grinning even as blood sprayed. "So that's the trick. They infected you with the same shit in me. Just uglier."
The Revenant roared, claws tightening, trying to crush him.
Kairo laughed in its face, eyes glowing. "Cute. But you're still just a copy."
Tentacles erupted from every inch of his body — arms, back, chest, even legs — a storm of steel that shredded the Revenant apart piece by piece. Its limbs tore off. Its head snapped. Its body writhed, screaming, before being ripped into a thousand chunks of twitching gore.
The street fell silent. Blood rained from the sky.

The Aftermath
Civilians peeked from ruins, staring in horror. The monster built to kill him lay in pieces, still twitching. And Kairo Shin — cigarette in hand, calm as ever — stood untouched in the gore.
He smirked. "If that's your big plan, Council, you better fire your R&D team."
⸻
The Council's Panic
Back in the chamber, reports streamed in. Revenant-01: destroyed. Nexus streets: red. Kairo Shin: alive.
The commissioners stared in silence.
"He can't be killed," one whispered.
"He adapts faster than the weapons we design," another muttered.
The High Councilor slammed his fist. "Then we stop thinking of him as a criminal. He's a war."
⸻
The Anti-Hero's Climb
That night, Kairo sat on a rooftop, staring at the stars. His intelligence buzzed sharper than ever, dissecting the Council's desperation. He knew they'd send more monsters, more weapons, more abominations.
He chuckled through his smoke. "Good. Keeps things interesting."
Below him, gangs swore loyalty out of terror. Civilians whispered his name like legend.
The galaxy didn't just fear Kairo Shin anymore.
It worshiped him.
