Part 1: Hidden Kingdom of Eldoria
As the plane descended through the clouds, the stunning landscape of Eldoria began to emerge beneath them, revealing itself like a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. This remarkable country, one of the last bastions of monarchy, stood proudly at the crossroads of France and Germany, a land steeped in history and splendour.
"I can't believe we're actually about to set foot in Eldoria!" exclaimed 13-year-old Ishaan Sen, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "How lucky are we to get tickets to a place where even the elite can't just waltz in without a reservation? And that too during the once-in-a-lifetime reval festival"
His older brother, 17-year-old Aaron Sen, gazed out the window with a calm demeanour. "Well, I'm hoping it lives up to all the hype," he replied, a hint of curiosity evident in his tone.
The moment the plane landed and the doors opened, Ishaan burst out like a tightly wound spring, his enthusiasm spilling over. "Wow, this feels epic! I can hardly breathe; the air is so fresh! Where has all the pollution gone?" he exclaimed, looking around wildly as if he had just emerged into a completely new world.
Aaron chuckled softly. "We can ponder the wonders of clean air later. Right now, we have two other passengers who seem to need some attention," he remarked, nodding toward their parents.
Just behind them, Mr. and Mrs. Sen stumbled out of the plane, looking pale and disoriented, as if they had encountered a ghost in broad daylight.
"Boys, before we do anything else, we need to get to our hotel. Fast," Mrs. Sen said, her complexion as white as the late winter's moon, her hand pressed against her mouth as if staving off nausea.
"Uh... right now, I feel like the entire world is spinning... Ughhhhhh!" Mr. Sen groaned, just as he doubled over, reaching for the vomit bag in front of him.
"Let's get moving then!" Ishaan and Aaron said in unison, a mix of concern and urgency on their faces.
After gathering their bags and hailing a taxi, they plunged into the vibrant streets of Eldoria. The air was filled with the scents of blooming flowers and freshly baked bread, and vibrant colours danced in every direction.
"Look at this place! I can't believe it! It feels like we've stepped into an isekai world!" Ishaan exclaimed, excitement bubbling over as he pointed at a towering structure. "That building there! It looks just like an adventurer's guild from one of those anime shows!"
"True, but let's keep our focus on reaching the inn safely for now," Aaron replied, his voice steady as he sketched the breathtaking scenery with his pencil, capturing the essence of their new surroundings.
When they finally arrived at their hotel, their parents seemed to vanish into their rooms in a hurry, leaving Aaron and Ishaan to explore the place on their own.
"Since we might not be able to tour the city just yet, you can go enjoy the view, but please be careful," Mrs. Sen called out, her voice echoing down the hall as she and Mr. Sen retreated, murmuring a prayer to Durga Maa for strength and health.
"WELLLLLLL…" Ishaan shot Aaron a side-eyed glance that could curdle milk.
"Fine, anyway, they've given their permission," Aaron said with a sigh, as if he'd just found out the Wi-Fi was down. "But first, let's change clothes. I mean, we don't want to scare off any passerby with our… current look."
"Current look? You mean this dashing ensemble?" Ishaan gestured dramatically to his mismatched socks and the T-shirt that had a cartoon dinosaur on it. "I thought we were going for style!"
"Well, Eldoria, here we come!" Ishaan screamed, swinging his arms as if trying to take off into the air like a very confused bird.
And that's how their ridiculous adventures began… complete with questionable fashion choices and a lot of unexpected laughs!
