Chapter 6 - Sans nom

---

Before Naama arrived at this house…

After Marwa separated from the group, she headed to her friend, around whom zombie-like creatures with green, mucus-like drool were swirling. They deliberately spat on Marwa, who ordered her dog to take Naama to safety. Marwa pulled off her hoodie, revealing a short shirt underneath that displayed a tattoo of a rosemary plant, the same tattoo engraved on her rifle. She kept aiming at the zombies, but it did not kill them, so she had to trap them behind a door. After performing an acrobatic maneuver to reach it, she closed and locked the door, then hurried, following her dog's scent, until she reached an exit. She found the entities in all forms and types surrounding Naama; the dog had been killed.

Marwa fired several consecutive shots, knowing they would be ineffective, then shouted to attract the entities' attention: "Run!!! Stay alive!!! Go! Go!!"

Naama watched her friend with tears in her eyes as she left through the door. Marwa grabbed a sticky rope, threw it against the wall, and moved quickly through the walls, firing at the entities, causing minor damage. Then the manager hit her leg with his probes, making her fall, but she fought to escape from the other side. She found all the dead from the different sections had been turned into copies. Realizing that their weak point was shooting them in the head, she fired successive shots, taking them down like pawns, dodging some attacks, and receiving some hits until she finally defeated all the copies. She collapsed, leaning on her rifle, while all the entities the groups had encountered—and even those they hadn't—stood before Marwa.

She remembered her father's words while struggling with her failing memory: "The mercy bullet is the warrior's final medal. Never let your enemies have the honor of killing you. Just one bullet… only one!"

There was only one bullet left in the rifle. Marwa aimed it under her chin and said, "I love you, Dad!" before firing.

Marwa fell to the ground as the bullet pierced her chin, tongue, and nose, reaching the part of her brain responsible for memory. She recalled her best memories over seven minutes: memories with her father, her birthday as a child, when he taught her to ride a bike, their trips alone, her first day at school, and many more.

Meanwhile, the remaining group members grew bolder and approached the house confidently. They peeked through a window and saw another exit similar to the previous one, with the neighbor sleeping beside it. Everyone prepared their gear, and Ziad lifted his head, saying, "The house just added more layers suddenly!"

Malaak spoke enthusiastically: "I remembered the game Granny! Wow, will it be like that?!"

Mallah said: "What if I throw you in front of that old woman? When she dies, watch the restart pressure."

Adam said: "Spying on people is cruel. Why don't we just go and respect others' privacy?"

Amin added: "I agree with you. Let's go!"

The two turned their backs to leave, but Omnia grabbed them by their clothes: "No leaving!!! We'll save the girl and then leave the Playroom."

The ground shook; probably not much time was left. Adam, the brave one, said: "Open the house door."

Adam added: "Let's enter through the open kitchen window!"

The group entered one by one. Ziad noticed food and left the others to eat an apple pie. "Granny, but a cook! Wow…" he said.

A voice of an old woman behind him said: "Better than your mom!"

Ziad turned to see a woman holding a spiked bat. He dodged her swings as she destroyed her house with her hands. Ziad grabbed one of the house's decorations and threw it at her. She screamed: "Nooooo!!! It's precious… the last thing my daughter left, you wretch!!!"

Ziad said: "Sorry."

The old woman transformed into a half-spider. While transforming, Ziad climbed the stairs chasing his friends. Suddenly, the house's layout changed, scattering the group.

Omnia, in a slightly large bathroom, saw something strange in the mirror. She ran her finger through it; it turned into glass and cut her finger. She cried out, but another sound interrupted her—the groan of Naama, who had entered the bathroom: "How dare you enter my dear grandmother's house?!" (screaming)

Naama transformed from a girl into a flat, paper-like monster covered in waves. Omnia tried to strike her, using a knife to cut her limbs, enraging Naama, who attempted to pull Omnia into the woman. When some of her long hair first entered the mirror, something invisible began to pull her. Omnia cut her hair with the knife. In a swift move, Naama wrapped Omnia and pulled her in, saying: "Damn my hair, but congrats on my victory. Goodbye, my dear."

The woman threw a red key. Omnia remembered that one of the doors had locks of different colors and realized this was the red key. She left to find her friends.

Meanwhile, Adam found himself in a child's room. A child sat crying in the corner, wearing a birthday hat. Adam approached him, tying his long hair back. "What's wrong, little one? What's bothering you?"

The child said: "It's my birthday, and no one remembered me because I've been trapped here for a long time. Now you're trapped here with me too. The old woman said to leave this room only after putting the sun in a coffee cup. As you can see, there's no sun. It's impossible."

Adam looked at the room and studied the objects. Using his extraordinary intelligence, he asked the child a key question: "Are there any other conditions? Did she, for example, ask the sun to be real?"

The child, breathing unevenly, said: "No, she didn't mention anything like that."

Adam said: "Good!"
