Gordon was surprised by the power behind the skill formation.All the slashes clashed with his presence.The threat he felt from it was not like a mere insect but a needle.It wouldn't threaten his life but it was noticeable.
Once the slashes were negated by his presence and the hurricane dissipated the shrine warriors felt stunned.They knew the skill formation was powerful as it was a skill they all used as a group effort.
Yet the opponent was unscathed and he was clearly casual about it as well.The shrine warriors realised just how far they were from Gordon's level.A deep chasm separated them...for now but humans could grow stronger through levelling.
Gordon brandished his trident once more and activated a bloodline bestowed movement technique.Gordon became a butcher as he cleaved through the panicked shrine warriors.Once that was done he looked to the sacrificial altar.
The 8th elite human sacrifice had been made and the ritual appeared to be complete.The elite human blood had filled the scales held by the statue.On the other side of the scales there was a glowing orb.
When the scales holding the orb lifted the orb left the scales and gravitated towards the ritual circle where the 8 elite human corpses were.
The elite human corpses began to condense into the form of a human woman six and a half foot tall.She wore primitive clothing yet she had a pair of black ornamental daggers.She had a dimple on her right cheek next to her mouth and she was bare foot.
She was Valerie the level 1 boss human.Valerie looked around quizzically as she didn't recognise her surroundings.It was cleat that 8 relatively new elite humans had been sacrificed to bring her back.
If Gaia and the humans had waited for Valerie to respawn naturally then they would have had to wait a couple of hours.By that time Gordon would have achieved what they had come here to do.
"Thank Gaia one of our bosses has returned for battle."
The head priestess spoke as Valerie looked towards her.Valerie immediately recognised the head priestess as a level 1 boss human.
"What is the situation?Why have I been brought back so early?"
"That creature over there is the reason for your sped up spawn."
The head priestess pointed towards Gordon who looked up at them.The projection of Eldora Galvano waved happily up at them.
...
"Those two have an impressive presence compared to the other ones.Do you think they are boss monsters."
"It's likely."
The two boss humans sped down the pyramid.One used a legendary rank movement skill whilst the other rode a legendary rank skill.Valerie had activated her movement of radioactive flow whilst the head priestess rode her summoning skill.
What the head priestess was riding resembled a wind elemental mixed with a massive leopard.

The wind aspect of the leopard roared as a powerful blast of air blasted against Gordon's presence.The blast of air was also followed by wind slashes as the leopards paws swiped at the air.
Meanwhile Valerie used her legendary rank attack skill nuclear fallout slash in tandem with the head priestesses attacks.Despite the strengh of Gordon's presence he found himself wanting to use his weapon to block and parry as a form of sport.
The head priestess used another two skills hoping to try and overwhelm Gordon.

A massive great shark made of water and a giant tiger made of fire took form and began attacking Gordon immediately.Gordons interest was peaked by the water shark elemental as he had a water element bloodline.Perhaps he could gain something from this dungeon after all.
