"Wait!"
Tang Shenwang's pupils contracted sharply.
The divine seal he had placed on his daughter Wang Dong'er—someone was tampering with it!
"What?!"
He immediately raised his hand. A pale-blue vortex spun into existence before him, rippling with divine power. Normally, any disturbance from the lower realms would mean nothing to him. A god's seal could not be broken—anyone who touched it would instantly perish, unless they were at the level of the Azure Bull Python or Titan Giant Ape. Even then, they could only endure the seal, not undo it.
But this time was different.
Someone wasn't just touching his seal… they were changing it, undoing it!
Light flickered within the vortex.
A tall figure appeared within the glow—dressed in ceremonial attire, elegant yet radiating immense strength.
Behind him surged a terrifying aura.
Tang Shenwang's eyes narrowed.
That bloodline… an unimaginably pure dragon lineage! At least a million years in cultivation.
Even as a God King, he could not face such a being lightly. Dragons were among the rare exceptions—ancient soul beasts whose sheer might allowed them to rival even gods.
And yet… this wasn't right.
Staring closer, Tang Shenwang realized:
"This one isn't a true dragon… nor a complete dragon incarnation. His authority is fractured, incomplete…"
He frowned. Stranger still, the boy's fate seemed hidden—wrapped in mists of destiny, impossible to grasp. It reminded him uncomfortably of another figure… the so-called Child of Fortune.
But before he could think further, his expression froze.
The youth in the vortex—Neuvillette—was already nearing the final stage of unraveling the seal.
"He can't possibly… unlock a god's seal?!"
"Damn it!" Tang Shenwang's fury erupted.
This wasn't merely about controlling his daughter anymore—this was a direct provocation against his divine authority!
Raising his hand, he unleashed a flood of divine power like a raging sea.
In the vortex, Neuvillette staggered, coughing blood, his face pale.
Tang Shenwang smirked coldly.
"This is the fate of those who defy a God King!"
But before he could strike again, two radiant pillars—one of shadow, the other of light—descended from the heavens, taking form at his side.
The twin enforcers of the God Realm: Good and Evil.
"Enough, Tang San," the God of Good said calmly, his gentle face carrying quiet rebuke.
"You are the Law Enforcer, not the ruler of this realm."
The God of Evil's voice was equally sharp.
"Interfering with the mortal plane? That is beyond your authority. We've tolerated your excesses long enough, but this… this is too far."
Tang Shenwang's eyes flared. He wanted to retort, but deep down he knew: even one of them alone rivaled his strength. Together, they far surpassed him.
Suppressing his rage, he finally exhaled slowly.
"…Very well. I won't interfere again."
"See that you don't." Good's smile was warm, but his words carried weight sharp enough to make even a God King grit his teeth.
The two turned and vanished.
The chamber fell silent—until Tang Shenwang suddenly froze.
His daughter's seal… had just been completely erased.
"DAMN IT!" His furious roar shook the heavens.
Elsewhere in the God Realm, the Gods of Good and Evil conversed in hushed tones.
"He's going too far," Good said with a faint sigh.
"Even the Child of Fortune on the mortal plane… he's trying to manipulate destiny itself."
"Let him," Evil replied with a dry chuckle. "Others besides us have long grown wary of him. If he continues unchecked, this realm will soon bear his name alone. But for now—let's watch."
Together, they turned their attention elsewhere, opening a vision into the mortal world.
At Shrek Academy, Neuvillette snapped out of his trance, blood spilling from his lips. His complexion was pale, but a faint smile crossed his face.
Tang Shenwang's divine assault had nearly crushed him—but for reasons unknown, it had stopped midway.
More importantly…
The seal was gone.
Finally, he had broken it.
