Recalling the events from last night's dream, and even experiencing that peculiar sensation from a first-person perspective, Olga Marie couldn't help but blush deeply.
The dream unfolded from a male perspective, so all she felt was what Morpheus had experienced.
This left her slightly excited but also curious.
"So, what's it like from a woman's perspective?" she wondered silently, recalling Artemis's appearance in the dream. A strange anticipation stirred within her. "It looked… pleasurable. Artemis seemed so enthralled, so excited. What does it actually feel like?"
Her thoughts wandered, and she instinctively pressed her thighs together, feeling a faint itch, almost wanting to touch herself.
At that moment, an image of someone flashed in her mind.
"If… if Morpheus touched me, it would probably feel amazing…"
Her legs squeezed tighter as she imagined it, but then she snapped awake, eyes wide.
"Ah, what am I thinking?! What was I just thinking?!" Her mind was a chaotic mess, her heart pounding wildly. Even as a spiritual entity, she still had all the physical sensations!
Her body felt hot, her ears burning as if they were on fire.
"No, why am I thinking about him?! Sure, Morpheus is pretty handsome and incredibly strong. He can be a bit cunning sometimes, but he's a good person… He's been good to me, helped me a lot. But doesn't he have any flaws?!
"Right, he's got tons of flaws! Let me think… He doesn't like school! No, wait, didn't he get into Westminster School? It's a school for regular people, but it's still a top-tier institution… That's not a flaw…
"Okay, he looks down on the Clock Tower and magecraft! That's prejudice! Yes, prejudice... a serious flaw!"
Olga Marie muttered to herself, but her voice grew less confident with each word.
"It's a serious flaw… serious…"
A knock at the door startled her, and she leapt off the bed, stammering, "W-Who's there?!"
"It's me, Director," came Mash's voice, easing Olga Marie's tension. She checked her clothes for any wrinkles, smoothed them out, and regained her usual composure. "Come in."
Mash pushed the door open and looked at Olga Marie curiously. "Director, why is your face so red?"
"Red? Still red?!" Olga Marie flinched, then quickly recovered. "No, it's probably just… too hot."
Mash looked even more skeptical but didn't press further. "We're heading to the next Singularity tomorrow. Dr. Romani says we should have a meeting today. He has some things to discuss and has already gone to find Morpheus-senpai."
"M-Morpheus?! W-Why bring him up?!" Olga Marie blurted out, causing Mash to look even more confused. "Is something wrong with Morpheus-senpai?"
Olga Marie froze, her eyes darting side to side before she managed a calmer tone. "Ahem, nothing. I just remembered I have something to discuss with him. I'll talk to him after the meeting."
"Really? Okay, I'll go tell Senpai about the meeting then."
"Go ahead."
Once Mash left, Olga Marie let out a sigh of relief, collapsing onto the bed. She buried her face in the blanket, letting out a muffled wail. "It's over! Mash definitely thinks I'm crazy! This is all your fault, Morpheus!"
…
In Fujimaru Ritsuka's room, Mash said, "Senpai, that's the meeting Dr. Romani arranged. You can rest for a bit and head over in half an hour."
"Got it," Fujimaru Ritsuka nodded, gently patting the head of the small girl beside her.
Jack the Ripper, the infamous murderer, was now clinging to her like a needy puppy, refusing to let go.
Fujimaru Ritsuka felt a bit helpless.
Seeing Jack like this, Mash smiled and patted her head too, prompting a happy expression from the loli.
"Senpai, I think she sees you as her mother."
"Mother?!" Fujimaru Ritsuka's eyes widened. "I've never even been married or had a boyfriend!"
"But that doesn't mean you can't have the qualities of a mother. You've got everything it takes, and I think this closeness is good for both you and Jack," Mash said with a smile.
Looking at the loli clinging to her, Fujimaru Ritsuka hesitated. "Why do you say that?"
"According to Morpheus-senpai, Jack the Ripper... loli, as he calls her... might have multiple versions, like a middle-aged man or something. But this Jack is a wraith born from longing for a mother.
"To help her grow stronger and less obsessive, the best approach is to give her maternal love."
Mash smiled at Fujimaru Ritsuka. "And as her Master, you're the perfect candidate. Masters and Servants often share a deep connection."
Fujimaru Ritsuka opened her mouth, unsure how to respond, and finally said, "But I don't have any experience being a mother!"
"Morpheus-senpai said love is enough. If you care for her selflessly, without expecting anything in return, you can fill the role of her mother. I think he's right, so, Senpai, do your best!"
Seeing Mash barely holding back laughter and Jack refusing to let go, Fujimaru Ritsuka rolled her eyes. She hadn't expected a single Servant summoning to land her in this situation!
"Morpheus-senpai also said if it's tough, he can teach you special magic to channel higher feminine energies, aligning yourself with maternal power to mystically become a mother."
Fujimaru Ritsuka blinked, processing the idea. "That's possible?!"
"Yup, that's what he said. He even mentioned he's close with Hera, the Greek mother goddess, who could grant you maternal power."
Hearing this, Fujimaru Ritsuka knew she couldn't escape becoming Jack's mother. Even if she resisted, no one would let her... Morpheus wouldn't, and even her Servant Mash was clearly enjoying the spectacle!
She looked up at the ceiling, "lamenting" that she'd become a mom without even knowing what a man was like!
This was just too tragic!
She decided she needed something to balance her inner turmoil.
"Oh, by the way, when I went to see the Director earlier, she was acting strange…" Mash said suddenly.
Fujimaru Ritsuka perked up. "Tell me more!"
"When I went in, her face was bright red, like she had a fever. But she's a spirit now, with plenty of magical energy, so she can't get sick. She said it was hot, but the room was at a comfortable temperature. It didn't add up!"
"You're right, that's suspicious. There's definitely a secret!" Fujimaru Ritsuka's eyes lit up, sensing gossip. "Any other reactions?"
"Yeah. When I mentioned Morpheus-senpai, she had a huge reaction, asking why I brought him up. But then she backtracked, saying she needed to talk to him after the meeting."
Mash looked puzzled, but Fujimaru Ritsuka's eyes narrowed, a sly smile forming. She touched her cheek. "So that's how it is?"
"What's that, Senpai? Did you figure something out?" Mash asked eagerly.
"I have a hunch, but it's just a guess for now. I'll confirm it later and let you know," Fujimaru Ritsuka said with a grin.
"Okay, but is it something important? If it is, shouldn't we prepare or discuss it with Romani and the others?"
Seeing Mash's diligence, Fujimaru Ritsuka shook her head. "Don't say anything yet! It's a big deal, but also small. For the Director, it's huge. For Morpheus… probably big too.
"For Chaldea, it's significant, but not something we all need to discuss. There's not much for us to do.
"Let me confirm if it's what I think first. If it is, then we'll talk it over!"
Seeing Fujimaru Ritsuka's insistence, Mash didn't press further and left to handle other tasks. Fujimaru Ritsuka chuckled. "I didn't expect the Director to have a crush on Morpheus!"
She nodded to herself. "Makes sense. The Director's always been focused on work, untouchable, above everyone. No one could ever break through her walls.
"Then Morpheus shows up, shaking things up. He's handsome, insanely powerful, bursting with confidence, chummy with ancient gods, never putting anyone above or below him, treating everyone equally. That kind of person is fatally attractive.
"I remember reading about this in psychology books. People like him do good without expecting anything back. Even if someone rejects it, he's unfazed, emotionally unshakable because he's so confident!
"Oh, right, that's why he told me to treat Jack well without expecting anything in return. I missed that!
"Jack's a wraith, a bundle of grudges... basically a severe mental illness. If I act like some parents, thinking 'fixing' her means erasing all her flaws and only being kind if she changes, it could worsen her issues!"
Fujimaru Ritsuka exhaled slowly, gently patting the loli's head. "Want to get something tasty to eat?"
The Assassin who once tried to kill her nodded happily, her smile making Fujimaru Ritsuka think having a daughter wasn't so bad.
"Phew, calm down. She's cute, a loli, but still a Servant. Gotta stay cautious!"
She took Jack's small hand and led her outside.
Now, she was considering whether to attempt another Servant summoning before departing. Even knowing Jack was a Servant, the thought of sending such a small girl to battle made her uneasy.
"What's on your mind? You look hesitant," a voice said. Fujimaru Ritsuka turned to see Morpheus approaching.
Seeing him, she shared her concerns.
"Oh, you're worried about that," Morpheus nodded, glancing at Jack, who wasn't interested in men and preferred clinging to women.
"You don't need to worry too much. Just treat her normally. If she uses her powers to save others, that's good... praise her.
"If she tries to harm innocent people, like killing women as she did before, even if it's driven by her impulses, you should reprimand her. As her Master... and her mother... you can guide her to heal from her abandonment trauma."
Morpheus smiled. "If you succeed, it might even change Jack the Ripper on the Throne of Heroes, maybe even elevate her!"
