JOE'S POV
i feel so horrible like I was being tortured,it feels like my body is being controlled by someone else and I couldn't think straight,my heat has been getting worst than before and it's becoming unbearable.
"Joe get into the water,it would reduce the pain"I heard Emma (my best friend) said
I could barely hear her through all the pain I was feeling .my body was on fire and I have been feeling like going out in search of any alpha or beta that could help me reduce the pain I was feeling right now.
"Ahhaaaa!"I screamed when I felt another wave of pain for the fifth time today.
"I'll be back with your pills just stay put" Emma said looking at joe who she knows didn't hear her.
She was also an omega but already found her mate so she didn't have to go through the pain her friend was going through right now.
The room felt too small,to hot,too close.sweat clung to his skin, soaking through the thin shirt he wore.his breaths came in ragged gasps.
"Hey... here's the pills take it and you'll be alright"came Emma's voice.
he turned my head slowly.his friend was beside him with pills and water in her hands.he took the pills from her and took it.
He still felt like his body was on fire.he trembled and curled into himself trying to cool down his body.
"Shhh"the friend soothed "I've got you, your not alone"
Her voice was calming and made him feel safe.maybe it's because she was also an amega or his friend he didn't know.but what he knew was that he was glad she was with him.
"Thank you for being with me"I said before going into a deep an calming sleep.
He wasn't going to feel any pain again because this was the last day and he was glad.
Waking up without feeling any pain was the best feeling ever which he had missed for some days now.he got up and looked around him then saw a paper his friend left for him.
"There's some food in the fridge,I have to go back now"he read allowed
He knew she was running home to meet her mate,they were always glue together.he was surprised she stayed with him throughout his heat which he loved but won't admit it to her.
"Argh..I still need to go to work today"he said feeling tired after remembering that he had to go to work today.
I got up going into the bathroom.the water was warm and felt wonderful like it was removing all the tension from my body. I really needed this bath but I couldn't stay for long or I'll be late to work.getting out with a towel wrapped around his waist. He made his way towards his clothes which was kept neatly beside his bed. After putting on his faded blue jeans and white t-shirt. he looked at the mirror to see his brown eyes staring back at him with his blonde hair. He got it from his mother according to what his aunt told him. He never knew his parents which was sad but he had no time to dwell on it. He just needs to go to work while making sure he avoids getting into any trouble by the way he's not that attractive to attract attention which was a good thing. He was just 5'7 which was considered short here most guys were 6 feet's tall and the women were at least 5'9 or above which was considered beautiful so he had a good chance of not getting noticed.
Taking his phone and going out while locking the door behind him. He took a hard breathe and was ready to go through another hell of going out again.
"Morning Joe...how do you feel now?"he heard his boss Amanda ask him when he arrived at his work.
"The best I had ever felt throughout this week"he said in a satisfying voice.
"That's nice,today is a busy day I will need your hands..go get ready.she said after observing the expression of satisfaction in his face.
"Okay" he said going in to get changed.
Amanda was a nice woman in her early thirties. She was a good person with a great personality.he had always liked that about her. Although he never saw any relative visiting her he knew she was loved by her family.he could see it in her smile everyday at work which also helps in calming him whenever he was nervous.
"I need table two and 3 orders" he told the cook Lucy who was trying her best to keep up with the fast orders.
The restaurant was crowded with people today.we always get a lot of customers every Friday afternoon but her second wasn't able to make it. He had an appointment with a doctor so the orders were getting delayed a little.
"Here they are Joe, sorry for the delay" she said giving me the orders I asked for.
"Thanks Lucy" I said going to serve the orders.
he continue working like that till the restaurant became less crowded an it was almost closing hours.
"Ping!" he Heard my phone making a sound and the screen came to life showing a message from his friend.
"Me and Matthew is going clubing tonight wear something sexy, I'll come pick you up by 8"the message showed.
"Damn it" he let out a frustrating groan already tired of the idea of going out.
He had hope he would have a good night rest but she was going to spoil that now.and he knows there's no stopping her when she wants something.
"I'll be going home guys"he told his boss and the others.
"That was Emma right? That girl will be the death of you" his boss replied with an amusing expression.
"He was asked to go out again, his expression never changes whenever he reads a message about it" Collin one of his colleague said not even bothering to hold his laughter.
"Yh..screw you Collin"he said trying to hold his laughter while going to change back to his clothes.
2 hours later
"Hey bitch, thought you couldn't make it"he said to his friend when he saw her mate driving towards him.
"I bet you were already planning how you were going to stay in the couch eating junk food while pretending you are watching a movie"she replied back
"I would have been glad if you didn't show up,and I don't pretend to watch a movie..I do watch it"he said in a final tone folding his hands together to prove a point.
"Then why do you always fall three minutes after putting on a movie when it is movie night ehh"she said knowing fully well he just lied.
"Okay maybe I do that some time,but I do remember the movies" he said to made it look like he was right.
"Then what was the name of the guy that always stabs his siblings in the vampire diaries? This is the time to prove yourself.she said.
"His name was Elijah bitch..I told you I watched the movie"he said with full confidence.
"You really did watch the movie..I never knew you were paying attention while sleeping at the same time, you really are very smart joe" she said in a sacartic way.
"What's that supposed to...."
"It okay,we are getting late already...up in " Mathew said laughing very hard at the two of them.
"it isn't funny you know"he said getting annoyed by his laughing.
"it was joe..did you see your expression when you said those word" he continue laughing.
"I also saw it..it was funny"she added.
"I see why you guys are meant for each other...wake me up when we get there" I said closing my eyes.
