Chapter 26 - CHAPTER 25

Delythena's POV

One year after that event, peace returned to everyone. Zadkiel and I got married, and I stayed here at the Obsidian Citadel as the known Lady Supreme.

"My wife" Zadkiel called.

"Why?" I asked, busy handling some papers it's part of my duties in this empire.

"It's been months since we got married, but we still haven't gone on our honeymoon" he said.

"You know we have a lot of responsibilities," I replied.

"Yeah, I know" he said, glancing at his own tasks as well.

"When we finish our tasks" I said.

"We'll probably have a few more months to wait" he replied. "But I have an idea" he added.

Narrator's POV

"The Supreme Ruler and Lady Supreme are missing!" Elias shouted.

The entire population of the Obsidian Citadel Kingdom was thrown into chaos because the Supreme Ruler and Lady Supreme had abandoned their duties to spend time on their honeymoon.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Ruler and Lady Supreme happily bonded in a distant place they kept secret so no one could disturb them and to escape their duties for a while.

 WARNING!

Delythena's POV

"Surely, there's chaos back at the palace" I said, laughing.

"Let them be. Let's not think about the palace for now. Let's focus on the two of us" Zadkiel said.

"I like it when I get to have you all to myself" he said, kissing me until we lay down on the bed.

"A dream come true to have you" he whispered as he kissed my neck.

"I love you so much, Delythena" he whispered, making me smile.

"I love you so much too" I replied sweetly.

He smiled, which made me curious.

 "Why?" I asked.

"Even though you're now the most powerful of all, you can't beat or escape me" he said with a grin his smile was different, almost threatening.

He kissed me deeply, our connection growing intense and full of emotion. His hands moved carefully over me, sending a shiver down my spine. I was a bit surprised when he gently helped me take off my clothes, leaving me feeling completely safe and vulnerable in his presence.

I covered my face, feeling shy, and blushed deeply.

"Delythena, don't hide your face" he said his voice so captivating whenever he called me by name.

He slowly removed his clothes, and my eyes widened as he stood there, completely vulnerable.

I bit my lip and couldn't help but stare at his massive, long sword. I thought only his flaming sword was impressive, but apparently, his trusted blade was just as formidable.

"I'm hard for you" he said, making my face flush even more. "Delythena, don't hide your face. Are you shy?" he teased playfully.

"Don't tease me" I scolded him.

He smiled. "Don't worry, I'm not a bully" he said softly before kissing me.

Our kiss deepened, filled with emotion, and his lips moved to my neck and chest with gentle reverence. I couldn't help but let out a quiet sound, overwhelmed by the depth of our connection.

I closed my eyes, overwhelmed by the warmth of his kisses as they traveled down to my stomach, each one gentle and lingering. I felt a rush of emotion love, trust, and something deeper as he held me like I was the most precious thing in the world.

"Zadkiel..." I whispered, my voice trembling with all the feelings I couldn't put into words.

A wave of warmth rushed through me as his touch grew more tender and deliberate. I gasped softly, overwhelmed by the intensity of the moment and the closeness we shared. It wasn't just the physical it was the deep connection between us, the way he made me feel seen, cherished, and completely his.

When he finally pulled away, I instinctively covered my face in embarrassment. I couldn't bring myself to look at him, and I curled up slightly, closing my legs as shyness took over.

 "Delythena" he said gently.

"Huh?" I replied, my voice barely whispered.

"Open it... I can't come in otherwise" he said with a teasing tone, making my face flush even deeper with embarrassment.

"I'm going to enter" he said gently. "I'm not really a bully" he added with a soft smile.

I nodded shyly, still unable to meet his eyes, my heart pounding in my chest.

I was surprised when I felt him insert it.

"Ugh." I feel like shouting.

"Does it hurt?" He asked, and I nodded. "That's not even complete yet, it's only halfway." He arrogantly said.

I thought he was being nice, but I moaned loudly when he put it all in.

"Zadkiel..." I moaned, I gripped him tightly.

I moaned even more as he rocked me faster and faster.

"Zadkiel...ugh" was all I could manage to moan.

He kissed me while he continued to rock me.

He changed the position, I'm now straddling his lap while grinding him, as he keeps kissing me.

We both collapsed onto the bed after everything, our breaths still uneven, hearts pounding in sync.

Now wrapped in his arms, I lay against his chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.

"You're such a liar" I said softly, my voice weak but teasing.

He smiled, his fingers gently tracing circles on my back. "I couldn't help it" he whispered. "You're too tempting."

"I don't think I'll be able to walk tomorrow," I groaned, my body aching all over.

"Sorry" he said with a mischievous grin, "but that was kind of the plan."

"Ugh, you're the worst" I muttered, giving him a playful smack on the chest.

He just laughed, pulling me closer as I rolled my eyes, secretly smiling.

"I love you" he said, kissing me gently on the forehead.

I smiled softly. "I love you too" I replied.

The next morning,

Zadkiel and I had just woken up, and he was already holding onto me like he never wanted to let go.

"Good morning, my wife" he greeted and kissed my forehead.

"My wife now, but last night, you called me Delythena" I replied.

"Delythena" he said, looking at me with a strange expression.

"Just my wife from now on, because you sound different when you say my name" I teased.

"Alright then, another round" he said with a grin.

"My body still hurts" I complained.

"I can't get enough of you" he said, kissing my neck.

 "That tickles" I replied, laughing.

"Morning kisses" he said playfully.

"Straight to the neck again huh" I teased.

"Delythena" he said, and there it was again that look in his eyes.

 "No" I scolded him.

"Look" he said, and I followed his gaze, surprised to see his sword standing making a tent.

"What the? Hard?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady.

"That's your fault" he said, and I just sighed and nodded.

He smiled and was about to kiss me when suddenly there was a knock.

"Who is it?!" Zadkiel asked, irritated.

 "Supreme Ruler" came Elias's voice.

"Argh!" he groaned in frustration, which made me laugh.

"Time to go home" I said, tapping his shoulder as I started getting dressed.

I opened the door and was greeted by a large group of soldiers.

"The Lady Supreme is safe!" they all shouted.

"Huh?" I asked, confused.

"You were kidnapped by the Supreme Ruler" they said, which made me laugh at their words.

"What kidnapping are you talking about? I might kill all of you, you're bothering us." Zadkiel said irritably

"They are looking for both of you at the palace." They said.

 3 years later.

"Zathea and Devin!" I scolded the kids. "Didn't I tell you not to play with magic here?"

"Why are you scolding the kids?" Zadkiel asked as he arrived.

"Daddy!" the two immediately ran to him.

"Please, Zadkiel, don't spoil them" I said.

"I can't promise that. Look how adorable they are just like you" he said, lifting them both up.

"Daddy, Mommy gets scary when she's mad" Zathea whispered, as if tattling.

"Mommy doesn't like when Zathea misbehaves" Devin added.

I just scratched my head in disbelief because of these kids.

I gave Zadkiel a sharp look.

He just laughed. "Alright, kids, go to your room for now," he said, putting them down.

"Daddy, can we burn the grass?" Zathea asked eagerly.

"Zathea..." Devin scolded, being a year older and acting more responsible.

"Daddy will build you a playground later" Zadkiel promised, and the kids cheered excitedly before running off to their room.

"Calm down, they're just kids" Zadkiel said as he hugged me from behind, resting his chin on my shoulder.

"I know... but even at their age, they're already so reckless with their powers" I replied. "It's because you spoil them too much."

"You can't really stop it" he said softly. "They were born with power... and that incredible strength? It came from you."

I let out a deep sigh, knowing he was right.

"Come on, let's get some fresh air you're way too stressed" he said, and I decided to go with him.

Now we were in the garden, near the fountain. We left the kids for a while since Tia and Reza were watching over them.

He was holding me from behind as we stood there, letting the breeze calm our thoughts.

"What are you thinking about?" I asked him.

"I was just thinking about the first time we met" he said softly. "How far we've come... and everything we've been through."

"Yeah, I still remember how you pointed a knife at me the first time we met" I said, chuckling.

He laughed, shaking his head. "And look at us now married, with kids, ruling an empire. What a plot twist."

"What plot twist? You forced yourself on me you kept chasing and clinging to me" I said, laughing.

He laughed too. "Well, death seemed to be the one chasing you."

I laughed, realizing he wasn't wrong.

"Death never stopped coming for me, and yet... here I am, still alive" I said with a grin.

"Maybe death was never meant for you. Maybe... death is afraid of you" he said.

I nodded slowly. "Yeah... I guess I can truly say, death refuses to take me."

"And because of that, we'll be together for the rest of our lives" he said, turning me to face him. "Thank you for coming into my life. I love you so much."

I smiled. "We're the same, I love you too" I replied, and we shared a heartfelt kiss, sealing the moment with quiet, everlasting warmth.
