During the great invasion when the paled invaded our lands eons ago, there were several splits and divisions among the tribes of our great land each based on what they believed was the best course of action. Some believed we unite and fight for our motherland with all that we have others believed we accept the prophecies of the great seers of the past and accept defeat at the hands of the pale ones, others seemed to work with the pale ones in order to merit favour from them, those fools betrayed their very own and joined forces with the enemy, they spoke their tongue ate their food bore their children. With their help the pale ones subdued tribe by tribe besting them in war. But our tribe the last keepers of the oracle the "essentials" using all our power and offering all the tribesmen above the the ages of 29 and all our magical affinities opened up a gate to a distant land far away from the war, the pain and the betrayal. We were then entered this new land where we were; hold on is he sleeping, what the. Is he asleep? Asked an old man with an annoyed look on his face, directed at Kyle who seemed to be asleep in the grass. Wake up! He shouted at the young boy, Do you really take nothing serious I'm entrusting you with the history of our entire race and you fall asleep, really, is this how you plan to rule our people when you are made HIM? This is why I was so against teaching you in the royal garden. Relax old man I already learned all these things in the library anyway and it's not like it'll change anything or help anyone besides my elder brother will be HIM why don't you bother him with these stuff and let me be. If you truly are a great teacher anyway you wouldn't be caught monologuing with your back turned to your student. Your brother truly is a better candidate I can't even believe I'm stuck with tutoring you instead of a protege like him. Huhhh and there you go again comparing me to my brother it almost feels like you guys want me to hate him or something . He will be HIM and I get to live a nice carefree life as Kyle the free one and I'll finally be able to rid myself of all the chains and stupid responsibilities of the throne then I'll be able to…. What is going on here? a low yet powerful voice reverberated through the garden followed by a thick dark silhouette that fell on Kyle who immediately felt his throat dry and his body drenched in sweat. His Imperial Majesty the old man said as he bowed down with his face to the floor. Arise Soulmon we spoke about this already said the dark shadow that appeared as if from thin air in the garden . I'm sorry sir but I just cannot fail to accord you the respect you deserve. Huh, the man sighed and changed his attention to Kyle, his gaze cold and dark. The atmosphere immediately shifted as if the air itself wanted to escape but couldn't. What is going on here young man he asked Kyle who just felt his soul slowly drifting away from his mentally exhausted body. Nothing Kyle muttered weakly, immediately blurting out a Sorry. Soulmon, yes His Imperial Majesty, the old man responded set a test for this free boy here on what you just thought him and let him be tempted by misery himself to fail this test. Kyle gulped as he saw the smug smile on Soulmon's face as he responded yes your majesty. Immediately the silhouette of the man disappeared along with the pressure around the area and Kyle heaved a sigh of relief. It was as if he had carried an enormous weight for years and only now did he let go. It's time for your test young master the old man said bringing back the look of dread on Kyle's face.
Later that night in a large empty room with nothing but a throne, there seemed to be two people one who sat on the throne in all majesty. He gave of a feeling as though the entire world submitted to him. This was non other than HIM. He was accompanied by an old figure who laid prostrate on the ground before the throne. Arise and take your seat Soulmon the man king said softly. The old man got up and moved to the side as he made a swiping motion with his hand and sat on a seat which spring out of nowhere. The seat had a luxurious look to it not domineering as the throne but still carrying an atmosphere of importance. How is the boys progress asked the man known as HIM. Honestly it is outstanding he seems to be lazying around most of the time yet still makes considerable progress if only he would show a little more seriousness Soulmon said with a disappointed tone at the end. And the test? Asked again by the king to which Soulmon responds passed with flying colors as well. He even added elements I purposely avoided teaching him. I see the man on the throne said, this is even sadder than I imagined I guess I have no choice but to entrust the future to those two. Is it already time Soulmon asked. No but I can feel it drawing near and if I don't die then the weakest amongst them will at that time. I can't afford to risk it. What of the Eartheopians did they mange to find a way to extend the time? Soulmon asked again with a look of sorrow in his eyes. No the king responded they already warned me this would happen if I chose to have the child they seem annoyed with me and blame me for Martha's passing which is rightly so. Don't say that your majesty it's not your fault you were stuck between a rock and a hard place. Besides it was her majesty's own decision not yours. Promise me one thing Soulmon the man said in sad and lonely voice. Upon my passing you would look after my boys for me they may not be strong enough to stand alone and if so one of them would surely pass untimely. Soulmon sighed deeply and said Don you know I would always cater for those two as my own even if you don't ask of me to. Don put on a feint smile and whispered softly thank you my good friend. Soulmon sighed as he bowed to take his leave on his way out he said to himself nothing can truly prepare these boys for what is to come and sighed heavily.
Don then shouted with a booming voice once Soulmon was out bring in the crowned prince. A guard clad in golden armor entered bowed down and responded yes His Imperial Majesty
