"But if that's the case, shouldn't Jenny be treated better?"

"She works in such a huge house, yet she still looks underfed and sickly."
She smiled faintly.
"If I didn't know better, I would have thought she was being mistreated here."

Daniel's expression darkened, and even the guards standing nearby began glaring at Lana angrily.
But Lana simply chuckled. "Oh, don't look at me like that."
She waved her hand casually.
"It's not like I've conducted some grand investigation or anything."
