Lana exhaled slowly.
"It doesn't matter. Those people have been brainwashed for too long. We'll have to deal with them carefully."
Her attention then drifted back to the ghost core resting in her palm, its cold energy seeping into her skin.
Axel noticed.
"Hold it in your hands," he instructed. "Form a 'C' shape and keep the core between them."
Lana adjusted her posture, cupping the crystal as told. The surface felt unnaturally smooth, yet icy, like touching frozen glass.
"Now sit in the lotus position."
She crossed her legs, straightened her back, and steadied her breathing.
"Channel its energy directly into your soul," Axel said quietly.
Lana closed her eyes and followed his guidance.
