"DXD: Infinite Loot System"Chapter 358: This Is My Room
"Mmm…"
Lips met lips. Onee-sama and onee-sama, master and servant—Roygun and Eunice tangled in a fierce, passionate kiss.
It really was a stunning sight. Illude, standing nearby, looked utterly unfazed, as if this was just another evening in the Belfengor household. Tenra, for his part, watched with open interest, not the least bit embarrassed.
"Ha…"
After what felt like an eternity, Roygun finally released Eunice. A glistening silver thread still connected their mouths as Roygun, thoroughly satisfied, licked her lips.
"Eunice, you were exceptional tonight."
"R-Roygun-sama…"
Roygun cupped Eunice's cheek, her voice warm with praise. Eunice's eyes shone with pure adoration and longing.
"Eunice and the others are the finest I've gathered from all across Belfengor territory. I've sculpted and trained them with care. You're the only man they've ever served."
Roygun patted Eunice's shoulder, signaling her to stand, then turned to Tenra with a sly smile.
"So, Tenra Kamiyo—regretting not indulging a little?"
Tenra gave a rueful nod, his expression mock-vexed. "Maybe just a bit."
Roygun's laugh was rich and delighted.
"Roygun-sama, the banquet is ready."
The red-haired Dilya approached, voice crisp and respectful.
"Let's go, Tenra Kamiyo."
Roygun snapped her fingers with elegant flourish and rose to her feet.
"Wouldn't dream of refusing."
The dining table was a masterpiece—laden with exquisite dishes, every plate a testament to the household's wealth and taste. Roygun took her seat at the head, with Tenra and Yubelluna's group to her left. Roygun's own peerage filled the right, and a retinue of onee-sama maids stood at attention along both sides.
"Yumira, since our guest saved you all, why don't you introduce yourselves?"
Roygun's gaze swept over her peerage.
"Yes, Roygun-sama."
Yumira stood, graceful and poised. "I am Yumira, Roygun-sama's Queen. Thank you, Red Dragon Emperor-sama, and all of you, for rescuing us. Please take care of us in the days ahead."
One by one, the other peerage members followed suit:
"I'm Janet, Roygun-sama's Bishop…"
"I'm Theresa, Roygun-sama's Rook…"
"I'm Sabrina, Roygun-sama's Knight…"
Each woman was a rare beauty, their names melodious, their bearing dignified.
Roygun made a point of having Dilya, the head maid and steward, introduce herself as well—clearly a favorite. The other maids, though numerous, weren't individually introduced.
"Yubelluna, why don't you and your group introduce yourselves too?"
"Yes, Tenra-sama."
It was only proper. For High-Class Devils, introducing one's peerage at formal occasions was basic etiquette. Peerage members weren't just servants or fighters—their excellence reflected on the master's prestige.
Roygun's peerage needed no introduction; they'd helped her claim the second seat in the Rating Game. Yubelluna's group, though younger, brimmed with potential. Someday, they'd stand as equals—or even surpass their seniors.
"Alright, introductions over. Let's begin the banquet."
Roygun raised her glass, her tone warm but commanding.
"First, thank you, Tenra Kamiyo, and your peerage, for saving us. The Belfengor family owes you a great debt."
"Second, welcome to our home. Make yourselves comfortable—no need for formality."
"And finally—"
"Let's drink to that!"
Roygun's bold side shone through as she lifted her glass. Under the gentle glow of the chandeliers, the wine shimmered a deep, enticing red.
"Cheers!"
Tenra and the others raised their glasses in unison.
Wine flowed, laughter mingled with music as several onee-sama maids played delicate strings. The room was awash with warmth and celebration.
Maou Territory, Lucifaad.
"So he defeated a god's will and even claimed the True Longinus…"
Sirzechs listened to Grayfia's report, nodding thoughtfully.
"What do you think of Tenra-kun?"
Grayfia paused, her voice calm and certain. "Someday, he'll surpass you."
Sirzechs blinked, then chuckled. "That's the first time I've heard you speak so highly of anyone. But if it's Tenra-kun… maybe you're right."
"The Khaos Brigade has retreated. The Old Maou Faction and other rebels suffered heavy losses. This war is nearly over."
"You've worked hard, Grayfia. Go rest."
Grayfia bowed and withdrew, fatigue evident in her movements. Alone on his throne, Sirzechs gazed into the distance, eyes deep and contemplative.
Back at the Belfengor estate, the banquet had ended.
Maids cleared the table while Tenra, Roygun, and their groups enjoyed after-dinner tea and sweets in a side lounge.
"Miss Roygun, thank you for your hospitality. But it's getting late—we should probably head home."
Tenra made his polite move to leave.
"Home? Who said you could leave?"
Roygun's eyes sparkled with mischief. "I've already had Dilya prepare rooms. You'll be spending the night here."
Her tone brooked no argument.
"That might not be… appropriate?" Tenra hesitated. He didn't mind staying, but the Belfengor household was all women. His presence could invite gossip.
"If I say it's fine, it's fine."
Roygun replied languidly, half-distracted as she toyed with Yumira's hair.
Tenra could only sigh inwardly. He was used to Roygun's boldness, but she always managed to surprise him. If she wasn't bothered, who was he to object? Refusing would just be rude.
Despite her quirks—even flirting with her servants while chatting—Roygun was, at heart, a generous hostess. Bold, elegant, and easy to get along with.
Night fell. Maids escorted Yubelluna's group to their rooms. Roygun, however, personally led Tenra to his.
The guest room was spacious and luxurious, the air perfumed with a subtle, calming scent. Feminine touches were everywhere—no surprise, given the household.
Tenra didn't mind. But—
"Miss Roygun, are all your beds this huge?"
Noble beds were always bigger than average, but this was ridiculous. He could fit a dozen people on it and still have room to spare.
Roygun smirked, fingers brushing her lips. "I had Dilya prepare it specially. Wouldn't want anyone feeling cramped."
Tenra's mouth twitched. Does she think I'm a pig? Afraid I won't fit?
Whatever. As long as he could sleep, he wasn't picky.
He was about to settle in when he noticed Roygun still standing there, making no move to leave.
"Miss Roygun, is there something else?"
"Nothing."
"Then you should rest too. No need to worry about me."
Roygun's smile turned wicked. "Rest? Tenra Kamiyo, this is my room."
Tenra froze, staring at her. Roygun's teasing grin said it all. Realization crashed over him—his eyes went wide.
